I'll get back on the Rocket and suss it out mate, you know me I don't like giving up ;) Thanks for the tip too.

Jeez that's cheap Lisa for so much juice. Must admit though, I'm finding the more expensive juices do have more depth to the flavour. I'll have to see about trying some of the Mt Baker juice at some point though.

=================================================

Well I've been dripping some of the JJ juices. The Irish Cream is pretty good. I quite like the caramel tobacco blend - but to me it tastes a bit of caramel, a smooth tobacco, also a bit of curry sauce. Sounds weird I know, but I love curry sauce. Terry, sorry to say, I'm not really keen on the gold blend tobacco, it's a bit harsh for me, too much tobacco and not quite enough sweetness, plus it tastes a bit liquorice to me and I can't stand liquorice.

Maybe my taste buds are just shot today - curry and liquorice ;)

I'll leave the gold blend a bit longer and try again, but I think I'll be adding something else to it to sweeten it up a bit.

yeah it is tricky trying to explain flavours ian, funnily enough i am dripping some black gold right now but i wouldn`t say it is an adv either mate. the caramel i find a lot nicer but again not an adv. I just like these juices now and again when i am doing a bit of chilling.

And i know you won`t give up on the rocket Ian, i don`t cover any holes when filling though.

I may just add some more honey or coconut to the black gold to sweeten it up a bit, you know me I like sweet juices. I've just found a place in the EU that sells the MT Baker juices in 1ml sample sizes - so I've saved it for next year to try out. My next juice order will be some more DIY supplies though, I've just used up the last of my nic solution in some blackcurrant - just had enough to make up 20ml.

Anyway, I'm off now. Back in work tomorrow for a 7 day stint :(

See you all later, night all.

I'm a bit moody today... I've ordered a couple of things from the classies so I'll have vape mail and also some new things to play with... while I wait out FastTech :/

I've just bought a couple of the SmokTech Terminator tanks [Killer 705 Clone]... after doing so, I watched Todd's review... just a few minutes into his review I am a 'wee bit terrified' as he would say :'( He's taken a saw and a hammer to it LOLOLOLOLOL

SmokTech Terminator RDA Tank - YouTube

Then I caught a different guy rebuilding it =] How To Rebuild Smoktech Terminator Without Non Conductive Wire - YouTube He showed where the airflow and 'juice-bowl' adjustments are, which Todd had problems with as he kept getting dry hits. I hope this is another rebuildable that I just get the hang of easily and have few problems with :p

Fast tech really needs to work on there shipping methods- fast tech says my order shipped on the 10( HKT) which is the 9th CST (Arkansas) and it hasn't even moved- or so thats what quantum tracker tells me, and then my friend ordered from fast tech and his has been stuck in limbo at the transhipment hub n hk for about 5 days now his shipped on the 4th CST

Come on mate, stop slacking we need the Taifun review  Just kidding mate, I know you're busy at the moment. Looking forward to your thoughts on it though.

That vid by Todd was bloody brilliant, I loved the bit with the torch, hammer and angle grinder - really made me laugh

Is this the rebuildable atty for carto tanks that you were talking about Lisa. I've not really looked at anything to do with cartos after having a DCT one when I first started vaping. It wasn't really my cup of tea. I found the same with the vapage silo carto for the Vmod, nowhere near as good as the vapage attys - but that's just me.

I'm sure you'll be fine setting it up though, it will be a breeze for you :)

All orders from China or HK are suffering at the moment mate, with all these extra security checks. My Kayfun clone has only just arrived today and I ordered it weeks ago. All the postal systems seem to be really slow at the moment, even our domestic post is suffering.

So on to today's update :

I'm dripping the Belgian waffle and pinacolada form JJ at the moment. The pinacolada is the better of the two, but their both really nice juices. The pina tastes exactly like the drink, pineapple and creamy - I think I'll be ordering more if it tastes as good in a tank.

My Kayfun from FT has finally arrived. I've only taken it apart so far, but it looks like a damn good copy of the genuine Kayfun. The pos post is ok, as I know some people have had problems with theirs. Decent quality O-rings and great threading throughout, just hope it vapes as good as it looks. I also got the free metal tank, drip tip adaptor and some free wicks too.

The triphammer juices have arrived too - the replacement order, not the first one Tim sent out. So that's steeping in the cupboard now.

So I'm quite happy with todays vape mail so far :)

:offtopic: If your vaping a 1.0 ohm coil in a YK1 dripper, don't point the enlarged airhole towards your chin. A hot spatter of juice on the chin, bloody hurts

Great stuff mate. Painting the bathroom should only take a couple of hours ;) Are you the same as me mate - I can do most things around the house from painting to plumbing, but when it comes to laying a carpet, I'm hopeless. It's the only job in the house, I can't do properly.

Anyway, if I get home from work in time tomorrow, I think I'll have a proper look at my FT Kayfun too, needs a good clean first though - as all FT stuff does.

Ian i vape the jj pina colada in my rocket and it is gorgeous mate, still full of flavour. As for splatters of juice i find it best to have the airhole pointing sideways, away from your face cos i got one right up my bleeding nose once (not a nice feeling) is it mate.

It's my own fault mate. I just picked it up without looking where the airhole was, did a double draw (like I normally do). On the second pull a little pop and bam, red hot juice on the chin. Guess if the airhole was stock size it would have been ok, but I've drilled it out to 2mm

Glad the pina tastes as good in a tank. I'm just looking at reviews for the Kayfun clone at the minute.

Apparently all items coming out of China were supposed to be x-rayed starting a couple of years ago. But they've only just started doing it in the last couple of months. They just don't seem to have the staff numbers to get the job done properly. Plus they seem to be checking parcels in no particular order at all. So because of this some items are getting through on a day or two, while others get stuck in the black hole for days or weeks on end. Not good I know, but just the way it is at the moment.

I'm the same mate. I can build walls, plumbing anything like that. I'll even service the water side of my boiler, but obviously nothing to do with the gas. I just love taking things apart and fixing them. We used to have a guy service the boiler years ago. One day I watched what he did. He charged us £80 just to come out and clean out the combustion chamber of the boiler with a vacuum, plus he replaced a £2 water valve and charged us £50 for that. After that I do it all myself ;) I'll even have a go at some electrical jobs too.

I know what you mean mate. Years ago, my sister had an extension cord in her room that was held together with electrical tape. She said to me, there's no power going to my TV. So I told her to unplug the cord and I'd sort out the taped bit for her. As soon as I got thrown across the bedroom, I realised she hadn't unplugged it  Now, if I do any electrical work, I turn the power off myself first ;)

Anyway, I'm gonna shoot off now mate. I'm knackered tonight, ended up doing a 12 hour shift today.

See you later mate.
