As Burnie says, the SVD is a cracker Mike. I've had mine for over 6 months now, still works great (hope I haven't jinxed it now ). With it being a telescopic mod, you can basically use any size battery in it too. Easy to use menu and brass contacts - it's a winner mate.

I'm going for the MVP just in the short run, no other reason due to the price difference. I don't own any of the required batteries or chargers, so that will add on a fair bit on top of the kit. I will most definitely get it soon though. I will be resisting so hard in the next couple of hours not to order it along side my MVP :D

I have a number of tabs open right now, containing different baskets from various sites ready to place the orders as soon as my pay packet arrives in my account! :D

Anyone link me to any good looking drip tips from FT? The ones I seem to choose, I don't particularly end up liking

I can't fault the iClear30 on vapour or taste, it was a big step up from my novas when I first got it (before I started doing my own coils). Tell you what Cody, if you're happy with it, give me a yell and I'll send you the one I've got, it's just sat here collecting dust, so if you can get some use out of it it's yours mate.

I was really impressed with the CS from bullboxmods, had a chat with Brett the owner after I ordered, cos I'd originally ordered from the secret locked section of the site - which is only for shops to order from. He agreed to make me the tips I'd ordered anyway, cos I told him they were for my 12 month vape birthday :D He's a great bloke, only took him about 3 days to hand make the tips and post them out.

Hope the Sophia works well for you mate, I'm looking forward to the review when you get it.

I'm not sure the iclear30 is something i would use all that much - the main issue for me is that the vape is just a little too warm as it's a top coil clearo. It's decent enough tho - I'll see how it goes over the next few weeks and decide if it's better than the pt2s i currently use.

The sophia has now arrived :) There is a 2ml sample bottle of 6mg chivalry, which from the description is a cigar flavour with whiskey undertones - sounds interesting, I'll have to give it a try - not something i would normally vape, but House of Liquids have a stellar reputation for their natural tobacco extract flavours so I'm interested to see what it's like despite not being a fan of tobacco flavours.

When i've finished work for the day I'm gonna get some liquid straight into the sophia and see how it goes.

Not exactly rocket science, but i mixed a couple of my juices that have been sat on the shelf for a while last night and the result was really nice. Grizwalds Gourmet arctic Honey mixed with Alchemists Cupboard Sherbert Lemon and a few drops of mentholyptus concentrate - comes out tasting exactly like honey & lemon lockets, although i think i put too much of the mentholyptus concentrate in as it's a real sinus clearing menthol kick to it now!

It's a big thumbs up so far for the Sophia.

Taste-wise it's every bit as good as the best i have had out of the KFL or the trident clone. I like the way it works - really easy juice flow control (just twisitng the top part between a quarter and a full turn). The air flow controller is on the bottom so you need to adjust it before you have your coil & wick on or it will twist it around.

Very easy just to slide the tank up and down the body of the atty too for when you want to change the coil without the need to empty the tank or anything. I've been using a needle nose bottle for refilling and no hassles there - the tank only holds about 1.5ml and the juice tasted so good when i first tried it that i chain vaped it all in one go (TW Patriot Orange Candy - the only TW product that i buy). I'm gonna have to order the extended body so i can use it with carto tanks too, but at the minute it's easily the best of my toppers.

Some of you guys that have been using RBAs & RDAs regularly might not notice as much of a difference in taste as me, but so far it's ticking all the boxes for what i was looking for :)

A clone is bound to appear on FT before long - be interesting to see how they are. Ian, as you have original KFL/Taifun, etc and cloned versions would you say there is much noticeable difference between them?

My lips are sealed mate. At least i know they will be shipped soon though, rather than waiting, and waiting, for something that was scheduled and then goes to re-stocking.

It bloody well annoyed me that.

That's exactly what happened with this last order of mine. To be honest I think the only thing that helped to speed things up was opening a ticket - they didn't want to pee off their best ever customer

If you don't mind the wait FT have some good batteries any of the Panasonic or Sony batteries are top notch add a nitecore charger to the order and you'll be all set up mate. But if you're going with a UK site try and go for the red AW IMR batteries, like these :

AW 18650 IMR High Drain Battery

The same site has the nitecore chargers too. The Efest brand batteries are also a great safe buy.

For driptips from FT, I've found the longer length ones are my personal favourites, something like this :

https://www.fasttech.com/p/1498200

Also if you do buy batteries from FT, put them in a separate order from everything else. Malaysia Post is the only carrier now that will ship batteries from China, most other carriers will refuse to ship them.

to knackered to dance mate having a bad day will tell you soon might be a day or 2 but will be back stronger than ever ps still not touched a ...:(ps Terry stay strong mate

Hope your days get better soon mate. As long as you're staying off the fags, that's the main thing :D

The offers there Cody, if you want another topper for your growing collection.

Glad to hear the Sophia is working well for you mate. Do you think it will be easy enough to recoil it when the time comes ??

There is a difference between the clones and the genuine stuff Cody. The original gear tends to work great straight out of the box, whereas the clones tend to need a bit of tinkering to get the best out of them - either by playing around with seals or drilling out airholes. I'd give the clones I've got 9 out of 10, whereas the genuine stuff gets 9.5 out of 10. But having said that, if you can build a decent coil on a clone it's still a bloody great vape. The machining or finish on a clone will never be as good as the genuine article, but some of them are pretty close.

Damn, you've got me sussed out mate - hoped you'd forgotten my order has already shipped, I could have won the race easily

It's a bit naughty, that their asking you to do all these checks though Terry. Just tell them you've checked with the sorting office - nothing there. It's not been delivered to a neighbour and if it's not been returned to FT, the only logical place it could be is "lost in the post". So they should either resend it or reimburse you - it's written in their terms and conditions so they have to honour it, if it's now past the specified waiting time.

I bet paypal know them well enough LOL.

Yeah, their probably on first name terms at Paypal

When did the juice order ship Terry ??

:offtopic: I'm still not happy with this blackcurrant mix yet Terry, it still doesn't taste quite right yet. Some of the mixes are too weak, some are too strong and the ones that are strong enough just don't have the depth of flavour yet - so no blackcurrant for Terry just yet :(
I can send you some of the berry blast though, if you fancy it mate - it's really nice, with a good throat hit and complex flavour. Tastes great in a Kayfun. I'd say it's actually better than Liqua berry mix :D

It's a mix of 6 different fruits, berries and a little cream and sweetener - it's lovely mate. There's no menthol or anything like that in it.

It's a real strong flavour and even at 18mg nic it gives a good throat hit more like a 20mg mix - guess that's the blast bit

Send me a PM mate and I'll send you some. Probably be weds next week, my next day off.

DIY, takes a bit of time to get the more complex mixes set up, but once you've done a few good mixes it's dead easy. Just keep loads of notes so you know where you're up to - really important when you're adding extra flavour or sweetener to tweek a mix. Hoosier has some great blogs on DIY mixes, I'd recommend reading them.

Sorted. I'm off this sunday, but the PO will be shut. So weds is my next proper day off.

I'm pretty sure you'll like the berry blast. I did about 50ml of it, so it's a good job it came out well

Time for me to pop off now anyway, night all.

So, I've been creeping around for something of interest... but nothing much is throwing a spark :/

I've been taking my KSD Novice to work with me with a little clearo and been very pleased with it [now that I have the flattop batteries and can screw it together properly]. I've been very pleased with it.

Authentic KSD Novice Mech Mod
GS-H5 Bottom Coil Clearomizer (3.0mL)

I guess I really love the smaller mods, but I hate the short battery life :/ I've got these coming in, so I expect to be pleased with them in the long run =]

eGo 550mAh w/ H5 Clearomizer - 2.5ohm / 2.0mL
Kamry eCab V2 Mod
Authentic Innokin iTaste EP 700mAh w/ iClear 10 - 1.5ohm / 1.0mL

Have any of you seen anything new and interesting?
