Well, I've made it to work for a 9AM-5PM shift XD I am usually just waking to walk the pup at this time :/ Stupid Spring Break. Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday I'll be on 1PM-5PM... Friday is my day off and reserved for a couple of appointments that may take the better part of a day, Saturday is my other day off but I've been tapped to cover for someone else :/

Regardless, just wanting to ask if anyone has noticed that some FastTech RDAs have a hole drilled in the bottom pin. Can these be used as bottom feeders?

Just keep stealth vaping Lisa, the work day will fly by

I don't think that is a true BF to be honest. The coil will be too high from the deck. Also reading the discussions, some people have tried to modify it to be a BF, but it doesn't sound like they've had much success. You would need to do some drilling of the positive post insulator to make it work. I wouldn't bother to be honest Lisa. The RM2, even though it's expensive, is worth the money. It will last for ages and does a superb job. I know there are some Cisco spec BF attys, but I've never tried them - I've seen them mentioned on the Vmod thread.

I got vapemail :rickroll:

My DIY flavour concentrates arrived today. The capella flavours have "vape escape" labels on the bottles. So now I know the manufacturer that vape escape use to mix their juices  Looks like my DIY mixing marathon will begin this weekend

Also my last FT order arrived in the country yesterday, so I might get that pretty soon too. Happy days :D

Thanks for the explanation, Ian =] I've ordered some and am having them shipped by e-packet directly to someone who will be drilling them out for me =] I bought 10, will get 5 BFers and he keeps 5. Still a better deal from Fasttech than buying 2 RM2s for $45 each stateside.

Work is over, finally... was falling asleep at the end... just ordered Dominoes pizza. Going to relax tonight and then wake early to go run some tests and then work from 1PM-5PM. If I could decide WHERE and WHAT I wanted to do for a vacation, I'd certainly be putting in for it after this week LOL

Sounds like you've got the BF issue all sorted out then Lisa :D Hope they work out ok for you once they've been drilled out. Let us know how you get along with them won't you.

I'm off work now too for 4 whole days ... yippee

More vapemail for me today, my FT order arrived :D

Not had chance to have a play with it properly yet, but everything looks ok with a quick inspection.

Here's what I got :

https://www.fasttech.com/products/1603204
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1556103
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1589300
https://www.fasttech.com/products/1589901

The Poldiac will probably need a bit of tinkering, but everything else looks great.

You will love the caravela Ian, what a kick they give. I use mine most of the day every day.

EDIT: I just put a fresh wick in my trident and dripped some spotted di*ck and custard. Mmm Mmm Mmm, Very tasty indeed. I get the sponge coming through with the currants, I don`t get much of a custard taste, although that may come after a bit more of a steep What a lovely dessert vape this is.

Cheers Terry - I've bookmarked their site for an order in the near future :)

I'm finding some really nice flavours at the moment. I thought i had settled on a batch of flavours i enjoy, but i guess you cant help just trying more and finding new favourites. I suprised myself today trying Gravity from Nickoticket - i know you and ian have had this one too and i really like it. It's odd because the one i was looking forward to most was Custard's last stand but i actually prefer gravity so that's on my re-order list when i get some more from spiritus - i want to try the epic wake n vape and the suicide bunny sucker punch that are sat on my shelf waiting before i order any more though.

It's a good job the gravity is nice as i am steaming through the blackurrant and Licourice i got from Vapology - i know you and ian arent fans of licourice but this is lovely (30% licourice). You can barely taste licourice in it, just a nice blackcurrant flavour with a nice smooth edge that cuts through the sweetness. I've had several blackurant and Licourice juices at nearly twice the price of vapology that are not on a par with it.

Earlier on i put a fresh wick in my kayfun and filled it with fluffy nuts, and it is yummy. like vaping rasberry coconut and marshmellow.:D

Well I've set up the Caravela in 18650 mode, topped it off with the Russian, they look great together. Excellent vape, I'm really pleased with it. The serial number lines up well with the caravela logo when the switch base is screwed on. All 3 tube sizes look pretty well made. There's a tiny manufacturing nick on the 650 tube but it's hardly noticeable. The only issue is the lack of delrin in the switch, so I'll see if I've got something to fit and the 510 pin is a bit too long for button top batteries, but I can live with that.

Gravity is lovely mate. I'd also recommend Betelguese and Grandmas cinnamon Danish from them too. I feel the same about Custards last stand, it's a nice juice, but not my favourite one to be honest. I've got some Cinammon Danish flavouring, so I'm gonna see if I can create something similar this weekend. Next time I order from Vapology, I'll pop in a small bottle of the blackcurrant & licourice to try. If I don't like it, it's your fault Cody :laugh:
Guess I could always order it with 10% licourice just to try :D

That sounds like my type of juice Terry.

But did you know that raspberry flavouring originally came from the .... gland of a beaver. I'm being serious, I read it on here and checked it out on-line and it's true. But who the hell first found out about this flavour and what was he doing at the time

So, review of my FT order.

Caravela - see post above.
Driptips - the blue one looks great on my Vmod mini, nice length and doesn't cool the vape down too much. The dragon logo tip is on the RM2 on my Reo - quite impressed with this one, it's like a wide bore exhaust pipe - it's massive. Almost as wide as the whole RM2 atty, I like the look though.
Poldiac - not too impressed with this one to be honest. The "clothes" or sleeves over the battery tube are not very tight fitting. The sleeve that locks the firing switch is quiet hard to turn. Only the shortest possible 650 batteries will fit comfortably and I can tell there's a hell of a lot of voltage drop at the switch. Only attys with a long 510 connection will make contact properly. But on the plus side, the switch fires quiet easily and it looks great with an RSST - this is the only topper I could get to fire on it. I may see if I can upgrade the switch magnets and get some tighter fitting "clothes" for it, plus a hybrid topper - then it will be perfect. I'm thinking of a topper like this one :

TNS | TNS Hybrid Atomizers V2 | mmvapors.com
Bit pricey and I'll need to find out if it will fit the Poldiac clone, but it will sort out the 510 issues with it being a hybrid connector.

Ian how long did you last f/t order take to arrive, after being despatched to the uk ?

It was pretty quick to be honest Terry. If I remember correctly about 10 days. In fact it landed in the UK the day after it landed on my doorstep :)
