yeah i don`t touch tanks like that these days Ian. I love these kayfuns though, so much so when all my orders are in i will have five in total. And in all honesty, that will be enough for me.
:offtopic: I really enjoyed my supper just then, black puddings with english mustard. Not had it for yonks, (lovely):D

You're catching up with me mate on the kayfun total

Not really a fan of black pudding to be honest, but mustard oh yes. You can't beat the feeling of your nose being on fire

Well I recoiled the Taifun and my KFL today. This GVC really gunks up the Taifun pretty quickly, I have to redo it every couple of tanks. Had to redo the KFL to, cos I put a bit too much cotton in the wick, was starting to get odd dry hits :(

===============

So what do you think of dual SS rope wicks in the aga, I'm gonna try it tomorrow I think.

Can`t you just do a dry burn on your coils ian ? Thats what i do, and i haven`t had to re-coil anything for ages. As for the dual i dunno mate, i never tried it. But i would go with a low nic juice if you do decide to give it a go.:)

Yep I just dry burned and replaced the cotton on the KFL. But with the Taifun, I use 3 strands of 2mm silica and just a basic normal coil. So it's easier to do a full new coil/wick on the Taifun each time. I've tried GVC on silica, ss rope, cotton and in the Vmod, it only tastes right on silica really.

I'm gonna do a fairly high resistance dual coil on the aga. Over 2.0 ohms for each coil - I don't want to go below 1.0 ohm total resistance. I'm just wondering how a dual will affect the flavour, I know I'll get more vapour and TH. It's really just an experiment :D

Ah i see, I thought you were using cotton mate Thats why i suggested that. I am guessing you would struggle getting 3 strands of silica thread through the coil, so that makes sense. Let us know how you get on with the duals mate.

Yeah I do it old school style mate - support the silica with a needle and wrap the coil around it :) The Taifun does need a large wick to stop flooding. When I first checked up on it, I saw 6mm of wick and thought bloody hell that's too much, but it does the trick ok. 4 or 5 wraps of wire comes out to 1.4-1.7 ohms, just right for GVC.

I'm gonna call it a night now anyway. Speak to you later Terry.

Well I've not tried the dual coil aga yet, but I have been doing some mixing.

Managed to get together 8 empty bottles, some new and some recycled.

I've made up some new trial mixes all fruit, bakery or dessert style.

The simplest one has 2 flavours, the most complicated one has 8 ingredients - hope they turn out well :D

If you have quite a few things in your order. I have found that it is sometimes better to click on reorder for items that are held up, then cancel the original, accept the certificate, and that way everything that is ready to ship goes out the next day, and at checkout for the reordered items you use the certificates to pay for them, that way you get the bulk of the order earlier, I recently did this with 3 orders that were waiting (now on way) and have 1 new order still waiting restocking...

What I hate is the amount of time it waits with HMRC after arrival in UK (worth looking on their site re what they can charge you for imported goods).

I honestly don't mind the wait. It's the not knowing when it's gonna be posted that gets to me too. I'd rather them say, it will ship in 2 months, rather than the scheduled posting then re-stocking etc. I know that sometimes suppliers let them down, so it's not always their fault - but it's still a pain.

Bet you'll be sat on the doorstep waiting for the courier on delivery day. Be a bit hard to post through the letter box :p

Thanks for the tip Bob, never thought of trying that before. I generally split my orders up into items that are in stock for one order, items that ship in 5-7 days in order two and items that ship in 10 days or more in order number three. That way I get 3 presents instead of 1 big one

Even though my banner says 363 days smoke free, today is actually my Vapeversary. Exactly 12 months to the day when I had my last stinky :D

Was hoping my new driptips might arrive, but no sign yet :(

I did build the dual coil aga though. Took me about 3 times as long to do as it normally does. Wrapped 2 micro-coils, same number of wraps and played around with the spacing until they were both identical resistance - 2.2 ohms. The hardest part was mounting the coils properly, you need a real light touch to do it, so that one coil doesn't get mis-shapen when you put the second one in. Test fired them, glowing perfectly and both heating up at the same time. Popped 2 lengths of SS rope with cotton tops in the coils. I used the 1.5mm rope this time to give me a bit more space.

The taste is amazing, I'm getting an extra depth to the juice, that I'm not even getting with cotton. There's not much more vapour, but that's probably because I've only got the single airhole in the aga (even though it's bigger than standard). But the flavour is superb, I get a much longer aftertaste, almost like drinking the juice  It will be a thirsty build though. I'm not chain vaping it, but I can almost see the juice going down, better throat hit and slightly more nic buzz too.
