Well it's been a long day today, I'm knackered
I've found the same Bob. My Vamo will take any battery, but the Provari button top only. A lot of the time it's just down to the inner tube length and the top connector shape. But I've also found that the bottom part of the battery makes a difference too. My Panny's don't have the insulation wrapping around the bottom of the battery, so I can't use them in some mods or the mod will self fire. Like you say, it's just trial and error to see what works.
It's not a problem Trisha. It's a long day but I do get plenty of breaks in between, out of 12 hours I can only do a certain number of hours driving by law, so I spend a lot of time doing other work in the depot. Had one break of an hour so I popped to the PO then. So it's on it's way too you now. I double wrapped it, cos the X9's are a glass tank, so should hold up in the post
The Grandmas Cinammon Danish is lovely Cody, I tried to do a similar one in DIY, but mine ended up being a bit sweeter with a coffee note. I've been mixing GCD with the snickerdoodle - it's delicious.
Glad it's working so well mate. I just used a 2mm drillbit to wrap the coil, but anything of the same diameter will work. Like I said the 2mm coil should last longer. I do get slightly more flavour and vapour with a 1mm or smaller coil, but they don't last as long and their a pain in the bum to get the wick through. Was it easy enough to work with the cotton pads ??
The MVP2 is a great one to get going with Trisha, people rave about that one. I'd recommend using the wattage setting on it. Basically you can put a 1.8 ohm atty on it or a 3.0 ohm atty on it and the MVP will automatically adjust the power so you get a consistant vape. So if you set it to 6 watts, you'll get a 6 watt vape no matter what atty you put on it - hope that makes sense.
You've caught the bug though
That's tiny

Love the look though, it looks great
Carl, start off with a single coil. Once you're confident, go for a double coil - to be honest, you may find a double coil is a bit too much. Forget the 4 coil and multiple coil builds, not only fiddly but to be honest their just for impressing people with massive vapour clouds - all you'll do is burn your juice. It won't be an enjoyable vape, just an excuse to fog up the room
Your Kayfun won't register on the MVP if your coil resistance is too low. Best to use a multimeter to check your coils for safety. Keep practicing with the coils mate, it does take a bit of time to get it right. Plus getting the right amount of wick in the coil makes a big difference too. How many wraps are you doing on the coil, what gauge wire and how much cotton do you use in the wick ?? If you can do a photo of the coil, that would be a big help
