Serves you right for picking on me the other day.

I've started adding a lot of the peppery baby leaf lettuce to my sarnies now. Always said, I'd never eat rabbit food. But it's only 18 calories in a massive bag of the stuff. So I can eat as much as I want and carry on with my non-existant exercise regime, win win situation

The Steamgunk LMP is superb mate, if the CV version is even half as good, it will be a cracking vape

I wasn't picking on you, it was just a light hearted poke

next parcel I send you, do you want me to pop some of the cotton pads in it to try out mate ??

Your Kayfun won't register on the MVP if your coil resistance is too low. Best to use a multimeter to check your coils for safety.

Multimeter says 4.1 ohms, it is my first coil after all, but I had the same problem before this with the coil that came supplied with it and that was registering 3.1 ohms. What I'm getting intermittently on both the VV3 and the MVP is 'NON' so I guess it's a connection problem.

Any thoughts?

I'm off to bed now I'm afraid but I'll check back tomorrow

Have you tried turning the volts down ? As i said the coil looks okay to me, so put a new wick in and try at a lower setting on your device, cos it sounds like you burn`t the last wick. Also give the juice a bit of time to soak in.

Here's a bit of fun with veggies. Get some spring greens, leeks and sweet peppers. Add one small red chilli (only use Scotch Bonnets in small chunks. Only use Naga Jolokia with a razor blade). Put a generous splash of groundnut oil in a wok. Chop all the other stuff up (use scissors) and fry it. Yum! You've just had three of your five a day and pushed up your fibre, too. Nice. Works well with a steak (do it blue - no steak should be eaten that doesn't bleed).

Or alternatively why not make a big load of mashed potatoes (use King Edwards) add a large lump of butter and chopped up spring onions? Champ!

That's a bit high on the resistance to be honest. Ideally, you want between 1.4 and 2.0 ohms.

Are you doing micro coils Carl or just standard coils ??

The NON means, either the resistance is way too low, or more likely, a connection issue. If you try measuring the resistance without an atty on the mod, you'll get a NON reading. First check that the Kayfun base is connecting properly with the mod. If the connection is ok, then the coil is probably shorting out against the base. If the coil is touching one of the posts, that will cause problems.

Best thing to do is get a 2mm drillbit, wrap about 6 to 8 wraps of wire around it. Leave the legs sticking out on opposite sides of the coil. Squeeze the coil wraps together with tweezers. Then with the coil in the tweezers, torch the coil til it glows red - this will set the coil in place with all the wraps touching. Put the coil back on the drillbit, with the coil legs on the bottom of the driilbit. Fit the coil on the Kayfun base, having the coil legs at the bottom, means you will have a 1mm gap between the airhole in the base and the bottom of the coil. Pop in your cotton wick and trim it, so it sticks out of the sides of the coil by about 1cm maximum. Wet your fingers and stick the cotton wick tails to the side of the base, just above the juice channels. If the wick is too long it will choke the wick channels giving a dry hit. Fit the chimney piece, check the resistance then drip some liquid on the coil and wick and do a test fire.

Don't have the cotton too tight in the coil. You should be able to pull the cotton through the wick without the cotton bunching up. But it needs just enough cotton to hold in place without it falling out of the wick.

Yes i have Ian apart from the bloody butterscotch And they are all spot on.

Yeah i eat them ian, probably not as much as i should as i am more carnivore than herbivore. I much prefer them cooked Though.
