and make sure you pick China Post (have to click on advanced or other options) for it to show.

Also good idea to put things together like those that say "Ships in 5 days" and those that are "in stock"
Seeing there was a battery in both orders, I couldn't use China post. They're coming by 'Singapore Post'.

Yep it's the bit where the vapour comes from when you vape, so they class it as a chimney. To be honest coil heads can be a bit of a gamble, a lot of the time it's just a case of try it and see. A lot depends on the quality obviously, but sometimes you can get a cheap one that works perfectly. I'd go with the longer chimney ones if you can get them to fit, I always had a better experience with them.

Guess I've been pretty lucky so far, with FT I've never paid duty, they always value the packages at $10 or less.

I got some Evods for £2 each and they all taste terrible even after washing the tanks a couple of times, so it has to be dodgy coils - for £2 it's not worth renewing them, so I'll throw them away! they're the short chimney 0ones, and all the replacement coils I have are long and don't fit into the inner tube.
So far, I've found that the best for lasting longer etc. are the genuine Kanger ones. Got some for £1 each recently, so not too bad!

- I never lost a character in 12 months of play  If I remember right, I had a female thief that was a sex maniac, a warrior that was tougher than Chuck Norris and a wizard that would give Gandalf a run for his money
...and that was just the pensioners shopping run bus!

Could well be, I think I may have been thinking of $20, it's not so much the handling charge, it's the way the Royal Mail won't deliver it until you've paid, FedEx deliver it and bill you afterwards, much better, £8 is a bit much though, should be say 10% of the amount they had to pay on our behalf.

I agree Bob, a percentage would be a much fairer way of doing it. The last lot of Zeus juice I got actually had the VAT and duty sticker on it. They wanted to charge me something like £1.26 duty and the £8 for the delivery  Luckily, it slipped through and the postman just delivered it :D

:evil:Mwahahaha:evil:

Knew that would happen

That's unusual, they normally send anything with batteries by Malaysia Post. Singapore Post tends to be quicker than Malaysia Post though.

I bet the coil heads were from FT originally. Some of their coil heads can be a bit hit and miss quality wise.

That's all I seem to get on my bus, pensioners. Should see them battling each other with their shopping trolleys for the front seats

Well it has been a while since my last order, so I popped for a small one, $20.15. Only thing I hate is the calipers have a button battery and it has to come by Singapore post, which from past orders is 3+ weeks. All are in stock, so no wait there at least.

$11.94 Digital 150mm (6-inch) Caliper
$7.24 Stainless Steel Round Mouth Drip Tips for 510 / ViVi Nova / DCT 5-pack
$0.97 Acrylic Round Mouth Drip Tip for 510 / ViVi Nova / DCT

Vape On
Burnie
:vapor:

It's a real pain, all this hassle with batteries Burnie. It's not as if the batteries are likely to explode in the plane on the way over. To be honest Singapore Post for us Brits tends to be one of the better options :D

It was lovely in the dripper.:) Back in a bit folks.

That's unusual, they normally send anything with batteries by Malaysia Post. Singapore Post tends to be quicker than Malaysia Post though.
There were options, but the Singapore one was 2 days faster (supposedly) than Malaysian. Singapore states 14 days max normally ....just have to wait until it turns up :)
My first order has despatched already. Nice that they even show a photo of the package! I can't read the part about contents/value though.
This order is for a few eSmart batteries, some small clearomisers and a couple of stands to tidy my desk up ...the desk tidy is currently full of batteries n stuff  One of them is a rack a bit like a test tube stand - holds 5 and will easily sit behind my note and pen rack. The other is a round one with 6 holes that will hold both Evod batteries and the eSmart ones.

My second order with 3-5 days despatch time showing has some eSmart clearomisers and 1 Evod 1100 battery and 1 Ego C 1100 twist battery - both in colours I haven't got, so nice to have more easily identifiable ones!

I bet the coil heads were from FT originally. Some of their coil heads can be a bit hit and miss quality wise.
I saw they had Evods but didn't order any in case the coils were like those!

That's all I seem to get on my bus, pensioners. Should see them battling each other with their shopping trolleys for the front seats
Oh dear ...shopping trolleys! Are they a prerequisite of being retired?

OK, second coil build attempt for the KFL.

Given what I learned from the last experience and the advice I've received, I went with 6 turns of 0.3mm kanthal around a 2.4mm screwdriver. Took my time and paid attention to detail.

I have to claim a major success, loads of vapour and a great taste with the Chefs RY.

Feeling quite proud of myself :)

Singapore post has a better tracking system too Trish, the Malaysia one is totally undecipherable :( Give it a day or two for it to show up on the tracking though. Looks like you've been bitten by the FT bug, did it hurt much

Some of the FT coils are great, others are cr*p. You really need a mod you can test the resistance on. If it's more than 1 ohm out when tested, it will probably be a cr*p coil - that's what I've found anyway.

Shopping trollies for the ladies and a wallet with at least 100 different cards in it for the men. The ladies spend 5 minutes getting on and off the bus, cos their trollies are filled with enough shopping to feed a third world country. The men get on quickly, but then it takes them 5 minutes to find their travel passes amongst the 100 other cards :laugh:

Well done Carl

It's a great feeling your first successful coil.

What sort of resistance did it come out at mate ??

Like I said, with practice, you'll soon be building coils in a matter of minutes :D

According to the Multimeter 1.5 Ohms, the MVP seems to think it's 1.1 Ohms, still can't get it to connect the vv3

Got a really good glow on the dry burn and made a much better effort with the cotton wick and I'm very happy with the results :)

Most multimeters do give a different reading to a mod. If you touch the two test probes of the meter together, you'll get a reading - mine normally shows 0.6 ohms, so I know to deduct 0.6 ohms from the reading to get the right total in the end :)

Just glad that you've managed to sort it out mate - once you get into cotton wicks there's no going back to silica :D

Now that you've mentioned it, I tried my meter and I get 0.5 ohms with the probes together so I'm happy that the two are reading more or less the same :)

Despite my success with the KFL, I'm still not sure I'm ready to build and fit the 4 nano-coils that the IGO-W2 requires but I may give it a go over the weekend :)

More or less ...I described it as a mouthful of clotted cream with a bit of caramel  ....I like it mixed with the RY too - makes it extra creamy! :)

No, quite painless! :) I thought a lot of the prices were very good! Seems a very good service for free shipping with tracking!
I've never tried a twist battery before! ....more stuff to understand :( :D ...probably easy now I almost know what I'm doing with the brick with a chimney! ;)

Well, I found some Kanger coils for £1 each at a UK supplier, so was happy enough with getting 15 of those! If I should need any more Evod tanks, I'll get genuine ones here - got plenty for now though :)
The MVP shows the resistance - I tried one of those £2 Evods on it when it arrived and it tasted awful. The resistance showed at 2.7. Into the bin it went!

Wonder what they're doing dragging all the food around in those trolleys ...they could get it delivered!

Re the MVP: (unusual white USB charger) -I'm wondering which, if any, of my mains charger plugs I can use with it.

These are what I have:
input 100-240v ~50/60Hz 0.4A max / output 5v = 1000mA / model GDP05B-0501000
input 100-240v ~ 50/60Hz 015A / Output 5V = 500mA / model A1299
input SC100-240v50/60Hz / output DC5v 500mA / model JD-050-050
input 100-240v ~ 50/60Hz 01A max / output 5V = 200mA / model GDP05B 0500200

Are any of those OK to use with the MVP USB lead?

The MVP draws about 840mA IIRC, so the first one should be fine. (The charger plug just needs to have at least the mA that the device requires; it doesn't have to be an exact match).

Thank you! I'll use that one then - currently have it plugged into one of the 500 ones so I'll change it :)
