AW stands for Andrew Wan, Thought just occurred to me, are we talking about the same type of batteries, 18350 etc, if not then ignore my comments about batteries.
:D Yes, I'm talking about the Ego type batteries! At least I now know what AW batteries are now though! :)

Keep Hubby away from the bus then  He'd hate it. To be honest, I don't mind the chatter I just switch off and concentrate on squeezing my way past parked cars. The only thing that does get to me, is when they moan about the bus service. After all, it should be there as soon as they walk outside their front door and drop them off exactly where they want to be dropped off (usually between 2 bus stops :(). Sounds like I'm moaning too much myself now
Aw! you mean buses don't come to the house to pick people up? ...no wonder they moan ;) :D
We have a bus stop just behind our house that was at least every 20 minutes until a few years ago, but we hardly ever see a bus now - it's a route they stopped a few years ago and mostly, it's only school buses now.

I've got dulce de leche, but not used it yet - bought it to mix up a GVC type juice - so can't comment on that one. I do have Bavarian cream, I use that (in small amounts) in a lot of my mixes, so that could be one to try. I've used Vanilla swirl in the past too, but you have to be careful with it or it will overpower the juice. Just start off small, add a couple of drops to the tank, give it a swirl and see what you think. It's easy to add more drops if needed, just do it gradually :D
OK, I'll play around a bit with those! See what I get.

Useful to have even if you hardly use it, because it can be used in any town/city in the UK
I'll tell him to get one applied for then! :)

Yuck, green, not my favourite colour :D , but I do like the blue :) , don't think the first one was a good choice, only 320mAh, will need charging a lot depending on use, but the other 2 look pretty good.
I like that deep emerald green but don't like the lime colour ones at all. I'm afraid the blue colour is what made me want to get it - very nice shade! Plus it's an easy to identify colour to use with a different flavour.
The first ones (320mAh) are the eSmart batteries - I already have three and they're great for small quantities or to take out and about. True they need charging more often, but seeing I'm sat next to a 4 way extension socket plus a computer most of the day, it's no trouble :)

The MCV is very nice, I can taste the Choc and Mint but not so much the Waffle cone, just shows how our tastes vary, tried the Strawberry one last night at the Meet and like that one as well, the Honey, Lemon & Menthol, I thought was diabolical, only good if you have a cold, just like the stuff Mum used to give me when I was a kid, kill or cure :) CLS is Nicoticket's Custard's Last Stand (from Spiritus Vapes in the UK), unfortunately it is only 50/50, ABC is on my list to try as well so will let you know what I think of it, also tried Steam Gunk's Lemon Meringue Pie last night, ok but not one that I will get again, to much lemon and not much else, think I'll stick to the edible variety...which i love
Perhaps the variations in the way we taste things is a combination of taste buds and equipment?

I like the way CV does menthol ..or coolness! I've noticed in Twisted and Honey Lemon that the menthol is really nice and cool rather than a particular taste. I also get a bit of the coolness in the Chocolate mint and Strawberry Vapetto's.
I'm no fan of Lemsip or Lockets so I'd probably like that one better without the honey.

I just looked at Spiritus and found the Grizzly ones at Max VG! I ordered the Polar and may get the Chocolate one at some point.

The talk of lemon meringue pie reminds me - I need to re-visit my LT Cheezy Lemon ..it was nice when I first tried it!

Custard vanilla ones that I've found taste OK were the Mystic Eldorado a creamy vanilla sort of thing and the JC Vanda. Mystic is the one that I think almost choked me - could barely breathe at all after using it along with the Vanda most of a day and had to take tablets to alleviate it (Theophyline). I was assured Mystic was all VG, but it's not, so that won't have helped! I have had bad reactions to some vanilla type ones but not all.
I'm tempted to have a little taste of each to remind myself what they're like!

I've only recently started using cartos, like the Smok UDCT v2 lockable tanks using LR flanged cartos, stops the tank being accidently removed, only problem with them is they won't work on the Provari or eVic (pin too far down).

I'm also off for a week in Latvia with a Rail workers Association, flying out to Brussels on Friday, meet up with my mates, then off to Riga on Saturday, we've also got a day in Estonia planned, should be a good week with plenty of Beer.

I'll save any photos for when I get back, I tend to only use my phone for emergencies whilst on holiday, so I will be quiet in here from Friday until the beginning of next month.

Could you not use a 510-510 connector Bob, so that the cartos will work on the Provari and Evic, might be worth a try mate. I know it won't do much for the aesthetics though

Sounds like a trip to look forward to that does. I've always fancied going to Latvia myself, so I'll be interested to see the photos when you get back :D

Yep some people expect a taxi service instead of a bus service

I try and avoid the school runs myself. There's only one school were the kids are polite and well behaved, but it doesn't come up on my rosta too often. All the other schools it's open the doors, kids rush on like a tidal wave, loud music, papers thrown everywhere, kids swinging from the poles - you get the idea :( Normally I just stop the bus, get out of the cab and start vaping. After a few minutes, they either get the message and calm down, or I keep on vaping until they do. I get paid overtime if I'm late :laugh:

Let us know how you get on with the spot of DIY flavouring :D

Everyone has different tastes, as well as different levels of functioning taste buds. Equipment does make a big difference though. A juice that tastes ok in an Evod can taste absolutely amazing in a Kayfun with a cotton micro coil. In fact, I'd say the biggest variation does come from the right bit of kit :)

Some folks want jam on everything! :)
As for school buses - we had to behave on our buses or we were hauled out next day in front of the school! Supposedly a Technical High school for young ladies, and we were expected to behave as such! No noise, no running around, no unruly behaviour at all. Even if we clowned around in town, someone phoned the school to complain! May have been tough discipline, but I don't think it did us any harm, ..quite the opposite!

I'll play around with the flavour at some point - I'll let you know!

Knocked my camera/tripod over a couple of weeks ago, so got a replacement camera of the next model up ...son & I messed around the last two days using the macro lens from the old camera, and we finally found that the macro lens also got damaged when it fell over! So, another big chunk just spent on another lens! :grr: ...Tomorrow, I phone the insurance company. Can't say I've ever made a claim before, so should be interesting to say the least!

Yes I think so! - just think it a shame Cody doesn't get the full flavours from the Choc Mint Vapetto

Today's update :

All 3 FT orders are now on the plane. The last order went into the cargo hold today. So I might even get a parcel next week, if customs and RM are on the ball :D

Made the first of a series of bedding boxes today for growing veggies in, even managed to paint it the same colour as the fencing and the shed. I'll probably be doing 3 or 4 of them in total, depending on the space available. Their not massive, just 2 feet by 4 feet each, but we should be able to get a fair bit of home grown stuff from them.

Also rewicked one of the Russians with a 1.2 ohm nano coil, but this time I did the wick a little differently, cos last time I was getting occasional dry hits. Fitted a new dragon nano coil in one of the Kayfuns, again, I altered the wick a little, cos the last one was flooding a little. Finally, I had a go at Rip Trippers - Tricro coil. Wasn't expecting this to work, cos he built it in a dripper and I was using the KFL. Had to play around with it to get it to fit the narrower Kayfun, plus I used a different gauge wire. Came out at 4.1 ohms  But I thought I'd try it anyway. Popped in the wicks and filled up with some Trip20, cos I didn't want to waste any of my better juice, just in case. Stuck it on the Vamo and started at 8 watts. Flavour and vapour both pretty good, plus I was getting different notes from the juice that I didn't taste before. So I cranked up the power, 10 watts better still, 12 watts even better, 14 watts a little burnt. So went back to 12 watts, cos 13 is unlucky
Really surprised the difference in taste with this coil, glad I tried it now. He's a linky if anyone wants to look, just ignore the banter at the beginning, he does go on a bit  :

Forgot to mention, I've also added some extra flavouring to the 3 Triphammer juices that Terry kindly sent me, might give them a drip later on, see if their any better.

Good luck with that mate. I just watched that link Ian and i may give that a try next time i do my trident.

You know me mate, I'll have a crack at anything

It's a bit complicated to build though Terry, it would be easier if you had four hands :D

What you been up to, anything interesting ??

Not really Ian, just a few little jobs around the house and shopping etc. It dooes look tricky to do but should be easy enough in the trident as it is the same type of dripper he was using.

I don`t think i would take it on in a kayfun though.:D

thought you might have been somewhere on the bike mate.

Yep, should be easier on the Trident, I wouldn't go off the number of wraps he uses though. I used less with 30g wire and still got higher resistance. Was a pain on the Kayfun, couldn't have the two nano coils in line they wouldn't fit, so had to be a bit creative :D

Not had chance to drip the TH juices yet, but I'll let you know if their any better. Put some blackcurrant and raspberry in the Trimto, Pinacolada and strawberry in the Juicy Fruit and caramel and cream in the treacle sponge.

I really do agree - kids just have no discipline at all and just do as they like. Society seems to have set the little darlings on pedestals, and they very soon become aware of it! There's only two things they need to be taught early: respect and values! Not hard ..or so you'd think.
True, they aren't all badly behaved, but way too many are!

Good luck with the insurance company Trisha. If you've never claimed before though, I can't see there being much of a problem.
Well, we have our contents with AA, and we did have to claim for car damage after part of the garage roof blew off in strong gales 9 years ago and damaged both cars, one was a company car, but mine was insured with them. I had a Clio then and it was a mess, but they had it repaired like new! It was a painless and easy process too, so I'm hoping they're as good with contents!

Been one of those weeks where there's too much stuff getting in the way ...hoping this week will be a calm and peaceful one!

It's both, equipment can make a great difference, just cranking up the wattage can change the flavour, I normally vape at about 8w, but some juices I have to lower it down to 6w, and as for taste buds, the analogy would be Marmite - I hate it.
Hope you like the Grizzly, I got the Nanner Bear, not overly impressed with it, it's 12mg so if you want it let me know.

Re: you comment earlier about extension sockets, I'm an electrician's nightmare, in my den I have 4 around my workstation although one merely extends another so that I can have the TV etc in the only corner that is furthest from any sockets, one wall is just a mass of electrical cables and patch leads from the computer switch, so that everything is networked together, this is a small council 1950's build maisonette, so there are not many power points in any of the rooms, so nearly every socket has an extension lead attached to it, but most of them hardly reach the 13A maximum, the council are supposed to be upgrading the electrics and windows to DG sometime shortly, which I'll be glad about as I do have problems with the lighting circuit, go through a lot of lightbulbs.

510 connectors probably would work but as you say it won't look nice and I've got loads of other mods I can use instead.

When I was on the railway I travelled nearly all over Europe for free, but have never been to the Baltic States before, now that they have split up Yugoslavia, I have only been to Croatia and Slovenia, and the others I have not been to are Albania (they used to ban beardies), Finland, Greece, Slovakia (went to Czech part before and after the split) & Turkey and none of the islands in the Med. My favourite countries are Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Germany & Switzerland especially, never been outside of Europe though, and do want to do the Trans Canadian

Yep some people expect a taxi service instead of a bus service

That's one of the nice things about living down here you can actually get almost that if you are disabled, there are 2 schemes a mini bus which will pick you up close to where you live and take you to the shops and back for free but you may have to wait a long time for it, or a taxi for a set fee used to be £3 each way, I have thought about registering the missus for the taxi one as she is quite dodgy on her pins now, due to just sitting around all day, but she can manage.

Ha-Ha! I like Marmite! :) Rather nice thinly spread on hot buttered toast!
I'll let you know what the Polarbear is like! The chocolate one was tempting too, but I'll bet it's not as good as the CV Choc Vapetto one.

Thankfully, there's a double socket under my desk, so I have a 4 way extension socket with router, phone and mouse charge lead in it, plus a surge protected Belkin 8 way for computer, drives, printer and a 3 way extension that's used for an air filter and charging batteries etc. This room should have been a separate dining room, but the study at the front has 3 double sockets spaced under the desk!
We're having the distribution panel replaced and a few other electrical bits done on Wednesday - the power will be off for up to 5 hours! :( He does have a generator though, so with luck I'll be able to keep the computer going!
