That is what i thought about doing Ian, sanding it down. but TBH it will be much easier just to put a washer in. The locking ring is weird as well on this mod, and took some working out. What you have to do is slide the ring down then twist it clockwise to lock. Had me scratching my melon for a while.

I was really dissapointed with the TH juices Ian, bleeding awful for the money spent.:( Do you want this jamaican ginger mate ? It`s not to my taste.

That's a bit of a weird way to lock it mate. Think I've seen a locking ring on another mod like that, can't remember which one now though.

Maybe it will get better in time Terry. But you know me, I'll never say no to free juices

I'll have to shoot off now anyway. Got to be up for about 5.

See you later, hopefully with rewicked dripper in hand.

EDIT: BOB take note mate. I just popped the delrin insulator out of the firing switch and guess what ? The mod now takes, any of my batteries, closes up fully and fires up fine. It also doesn`t self fire when placed down, so there lies the problem with it. That insulator is just to thick, and prevents it from firing. Better close the ticket now. :p

I'll remember that for when mine makes an appearance.

Yep just pop it right out bob, I have closed the ticket with them and explained what the problem is. I dunno if they will take any notice, but i am guessing they will be getting plenty of complaints if they don`t.

I just checked and there is 3 reviews now, all reporting the same problem.

That's what I was trying to describe in my earlier post mate, guess it didn't come across properly

I wasn't too sure if the centre of the delrin was too tight for the switch to pass through, or if the delrin was just too high, so the switch wasn't extending high enough when firing. But I had a feeling it was the delrin at fault. Main thing is, you've sorted it. Wht not just sand the delrin down a bit Terry, should be easy enough.

I'll probably get out the Dremel lookalike that I have and use that to trim it down, when mine arrives

The Fogatti Hybrid is like that, pull it down and slight twist, then just twist back to unlock it, the Cronus has a weird locking as well it has what looks like a T on it's side ( --| ), to fire the button has a pin that slides up and down the top bit of the T ( | ), but to lock it, you press the button in half way then twist the ring so that the pin goes into the I bit of the T ( -- ), if that makes sense.

Shame you don't like it ...my Jamaican Ginger was very usable right away, so unlikely it'll change. Of course, mine is VG only, so perhaps it makes some difference to taste ..trouble is, it gunks up the coil very quickly!

It's a pain when it happens Trisha, I get withdrawal symptoms if I don't get my regular dose of ECF
It is quite frustrating when you just want to pop in for a while and can't! A week or so ago, it was unavailable for some hours, and the notification of new posts wasn't working. It seems to have righted itself now as it's been fine the past few days.

FT vapemail is something to look forward to.
I am looking forward to it - the acrylic stand will be great too: I can reclaim my desk tidy and keep the long narrow stand behind it (it holds 5 - bit like a test tube stand).

I'd be lost without electric. Remember one year in our old house. I'd got my pizza in the oven, the British Grand Prix was just about to start and all our electrics went. Ended up knocking on my neighbours door pizza in hand "can I borrow your TV and cooker please, it's an emergency"
Just in case the generator doesn't perform, I'll fill an insulated jug with fresh coffee and two thermos flasks with boiling water! My batteries are all charged, so if all else fails I can drink coffee, keep my nicotine levels topped up and read a book (spies)!

I got the Grizzly Vapes Polarbear today and it's not bad! A mild banana, which suits me as I'm not overly fond of it, and the menthol, although positive isn't powerful.
I may chance trying the chocolate one soon.

Just ordered a fogger v4, should be here tomorrow. Will be my first dual coil rebuildable..

Confident though, finally getting a consistent, flavourful vape from my Igo-L I bought from FT awhile back.

If anyone is looking for one in stock, vapenquit have them in stock, both SS & Black. Got despatched 12 minutes after ordering FFS :D

Trying to promise myself that this will be my last purchase now for a long time, bar E-liquid...

You won't be disappointed with it
I use mine everyday with no problems just fill and vape.
If using cotton taper the ends and have them about halfway into the channels.
On YouTube there is a good review and build by suckmymod a lot seem to like .8 ohm on it.

Got home today and rewicked the dripper, just went with 3 strands of 1mm silica and a 5 wrap coil, came out at 0.8 ohms. So far tried :

DIY strawberry new York cheesecake, tastes great now, this is the third revision though, but tastes lovely finally.
DIY boston cream pie, still tastes bland.
DIY sticky toffee pudding, this one is still bland too.
Modified TH Trimto, only added about 5 drops of blackcurrant and 3 drops of raspberry and that's all I can taste now, so it shows how weak the original juice was.

Also redid the tri coil in the KFL, this time with fewer wraps on each coil, came out at 2.8 ohms (better than the last one which was about 4). Plus I rerouted the wick, it's now a dual and dragon nano coil combo. I'm gradually upping the watts on this one, at 11 watts at the moment and the flavour and vapour is stunning. This is the best coil/wick set up I've done to date :D

One of my FT orders arrived too

:rickroll:

Got the black nemmy, red tubes, blue tubes, kayfun hybrid connector and nemmy magnets. I've just put one of the Kayfuns on the black nemmy so far. Works like a dream, I'll have a play with the other stuff tomorrow hopefully.

I love the nemmy it gives a proper punch with a decent atty on top. My only complaint would be the firing switch can be a bit sticky sometimes.

That's why I got the magnets Terry, I'm hoping they might fit some of my other mods too. One thing that surprised me was how smooth the threading is on the black tube, I thought with the threads being black as well, it might be a bit sticky, but it's silky smooth. I'll have to order a black topper now to match

Ah! ...was it the Gingerbread Latte? If so, I tried it and it's painfully lacking!

I placed another order with CV two days ago and got notice of it's despatch today. Got 30mls of the Mint Choc Vapetto, RY and either the Twisted or the Honey Lemon Menthol plus some more 10ml ones as repeats. The added cool with the lime is lovely in the Twisted (the pineapple and strawberry in it is mild but does affect me a little, so I'm cautious with it).

Topped up an Evod with the Mint Choc Vapetto today and thought that although very nice, it tasted different ...same bottle I'd been using for a while, but it was different. I just realised I'd topped it up with Caramel Cappuccino! Duh! Still, it isn't a nasty mistake thankfully :) Won't make that mistake again though because I do like the Mint Choc Vapetto by itself!

Let us know if the switch magnets are any good ian, as i say sometimes i have to really push for it to fire Would the magnets solve that ? i don`t know much about them TBH.

Sometimes those mistakes are the ones that make me do the juice as a DIY project. It's happened a couple of times for me :D

Yep the magnets just replace the spring basically Terry. You have them opposing each other, so that the switch is naturally in the off position. Some mods need 3 magnets though rather than 2. Using 3 magnets will stiffen up the switch more. I'll let you know how I get on with it. Not doing it today though, I'm knackered mate. I had to be up for 4 this morning instead of 5am - early night for me I think :)

Yes there is no rush Ian, so you actually take the spring out of the firing switch ??
