Just sat here puffing away on the moo juice, and i have realized the best way to describe this one is...The strawberry ones in the opal fruits, now known as starburst.

It is exactly the same !!!
Ha! I have a bottle of flavouring that is Pink Starburst! :D

Well I've spent all day from 07:45 until 18:30 up the hospital, only to find out that they have not been able to unblock any of the arteries, in fact all i seem to have got was bad news, in that the one that had a stent put in 10 years ago is now blocked, and the only one that is still working is getting blocked as well, they are having to study the pictures and will let me know what they plan to do, but it sounds like I might need a triple by pass, will have to wait and see though.

Enough of my problems though, wonder how Ron is getting on.
So sorry Bob - never the sort of thing we want to hear! :( Been a long day!
However they decide to fix it, I hope it's soon, trouble free and a huge success with a quick recovery! :)

HI this is Tom the hospital has reduced Rons painkiller to see if It makes a difference to his coma and as the painkiller wore off he started moving about in his bed so the doctors said they will change his pain relief and try and get him to wake up so it does look promising but when he wakes up its only because he is in pain doesn't sound right to me though what do you think
There are many different types of painkiller, and people will react differently to them, sometimes even going deeply asleep.
If Ron wakes up with the reduced painkiller (and it sounds as though he may), they will probably try a different compound less likely to give him any problems. Their main concern is to get him awake, make sure he's OK, and then deal with any pain. They certainly won't let him remain in pain.

hope your right Terry but it does sound like it and the rolling around he is doing I don't think it will be long before he is awake
Hope not - stay positive :)

Nah, i`ve given up on it now trish, i don`t think there would be much of what i have to get rid of the malty earthy taste. Anyhoo, i have now replaced it and gone back to the lovely RY. :)
Sorry you didn't like it! ..at least there's always RY! :)

Well i had to blame someone trish . If i am honest i am just going to stick with RY vapes now, as i have been let down too many times with tobacco ones, but i have never had a bad RY one. :toast:
The only ones I don't like is the 555 type - hate the smell!

I bet it will drop through your letterbox tomorrow
I wish! Be nice if you're right, but the tracking does say it was delivered at 10.22am yesterday (2nd) - and our postman not only delivered our post into my hand yesterday, he didn't even start his shift until 10.30! (I asked him about it today).
He always comes here around 12pm to 2.30.
I told the shop where I bought it all this, and she just replied telling me to ask the postman if he left it with a neighbour or hidden somewhere!!!
even if he had been working at 10.22am, I was only a few feet from the door at that time, and those two dogs of ours make so much noise, no-one gets near without us knowing!

I used to quite like the 555, and the desert ship until i got into the RY ones trish, I wouldn`t put your faith in what the tracking says at all, as i have had the same thing happen to me only for it to pop through the door the day after.

Definitely if you don`t have it by monday though, get straight on to paypal. :)

I will - glad it was paid for through PP!

I just ordered more Got Cookie! Current stock is low and may not be back for a few months! ...it mixes so well with a lot of things, and being such a good flavour, I don't need to use too much, so can just about cope with it.
I really do need to find a vanilla that at least comes close to the NT Frenilla - I see lots of mixes mentioned that sound extremely good, but I only have a small bottle of the PG/VG one!

What about grants trish, or are you talking about just a plain vanilla, and not custard ?

we must have posted at the same time bob and thanks for asking about Ron

and hope they get you sorted soon bob

Thanks Tom, yes, I was having to type one handed as I can't use the right hand for a couple of days, they put the catheter up the arm now instead of the groin. There's a saying about pain being good, but I can't remember what it is now.

Sorry to hear about the problems Bob, hope they get it figured out and you taken care of.
Prayers from across the pond.:nun:

Bloody hell bob, sorry about that :( I hope that they can get you right without the surgery mate, but if that is what it takes i hope all goes well for you.:)

So sorry Bob - never the sort of thing we want to hear! :( Been a long day!

Burnie, Terry & Trish - Thanks for the support, and yes Trish it was not only a long day but I had to starve until I came out of the Catheter Suite, and all I got afterwards was a sandwich & yogurt, and a couple of cups of coffee :(

I used to like the actual 555 ciggies or State Express as they were called over here, don't trust the tracking after it arrives in the country, RM tracking is krap, they don't know how to use those handheld scanners, Terry is probably right in saying it will either arrive tomorrow or Monday, I wouldn't instigate anything with Paypal until you know for definite that it has been lost (can take up to 15 days to deliver a first class UK posted letter (RMs words to me)

Just the plain vanilla Terry. NT's Frenilla is lovely, but only in PG/VG. He uses a few different vanillas, and steeps his own vanilla extracts. If I can find a VG one along similar lines it would be good! :)

Well, at least today is done with! Hope the pain goes quickly :)

I've never gained any reassurance from that one! - mind you, I think it applies to athletes etc.
I know one thing though, me no likey. :)
I'll second that! ....anyway, has your mouth settled down now?

That certainly won't have helped you recover from a stressful day!
My husband had a hernia repaired as a day case.
Ward was dismal with very few staff around (they're drafted from other places to the small day case ward) - they gave him pre-med, then he had anaesthetic plus morphine before being sent back to the ward. Then they gave him some strong painkillers. He was then given a cup of tea and a small sandwich ...he'd had nothing since the day before and it was now late afternoon! Then someone else came and gave him another shot of morphine and he was told he could ring us to be collected.
Son brought him back, sat him down at the table while I made him a cup of tea and some toast, and left. I turned to talk to him, saw that he was white and he then fell sideways. I caught him before he fell to the floor. Checked his BP: it had plummeted and he was shaking! Had the phone in the other had calling our son to come back. Just as he arrived, I tried giving him a chocolate biscuit and a sweet drink, and gradually his colour started to return and his BP went back to normal.
Too many drugs and too little food seemingly caused his blood sugar to drop alarmingly.

First time any of us have that sort of thing happen, but it was obvious that someone had made a mistake in either prescribing or administering too many powerful drugs.
The tiny amount of food patients are offered after gruelling procedures really does need looking into. A hot drink and some sort of protein & carbs of sufficient quantity would make a big difference.

If you get anything like that again, take some sandwiches and a small flask of coffee with you! :)

I have some bottles untouched that have the typical 555 nutty smell, just don't think I'll care for the taste.

anyway, has your mouth settled down now?

Yes trisha, it has been absolutely fine recently thanks :) I went for a scale and polish last week, and the dentist wants me to go for that ct scan regarding the implants. Thing is that it would cost me 4 k for a 5 tooth implant, and i am wondering if it is worth that sort of money, or just to get a partial denture.

Glad it got better! A sore mouth is a miserable thing!
As for the implants vs. dentures, only you can decide that really.
I'm no fan of bridge work, and a small set of dentures is an option that causes no destruction of other teeth. My husband has one tooth on a small plate, and is reluctant to change that for anything else.
Before that, he had a bridge and they wrecked two teeth for the sake of that one gap in the middle of them both. I hadn't known that was what he was getting or would have advised against. It was never a successful job anyway.
A new dentist rebuilt the two filed teeth rather well and he got the single tooth denture.

Am I right in thinking implants have a limited life? ...or is that capped teeth.

Implants if done correctly should last a life time trish, so it probably is caps you are thinking of. But i am no expert on the subject

I reckon i will go for the partial, as i can get it done a bit closer to home than the dentist i am seeing at the minute. I`m off now anyway, so chat soon and goodnight.:)

Sounds like a good plan - can always change your mind at some later date.

Went to order some ABC and found just 26 items now on the Chefs blends page!

Gone are Confusion (aagghh!) - Comp Juice and Red Hot Pear.
I liked the Comp (like Nice biscuits) but not the Red Hot Pear. But, Confusion is something I get through a lot of! I've emailed to ask if it's discontinued!

The new ones are PMP - Papaya, Mango & Passion Fruit, and Queen of Puddings - Cake with Blackcurrant Jam and Meringue.

That wasn't a very nice story, good job you were there, will definitely think about taking my own if it ever happens again, trouble is next time will probably not be a day case, the staff at King's are very good, being a teaching hospital they have a variety of cultures working there, the guy who was doing the Catheter was a Roman called Roberto, the chap moving the Ultrasound Imaging Scanner around was a Kiwi, don't know where the Surgeon in charge was from but definitely not here, and we had nurses from France, Poland and various other places, and there was always at least one nurse in the recovery room to look after a max of 8 people in different stages of recovery. Can't see any bruising to the wrist today, just got to keep the puncture wound covered and not use the wrist for the first 48 hours, but it looks like it is healing better than 10 years ago when they went in through the groin.

Most of the tobacco type juices I have found vile, I have the RY from CV and one I picked up over in Latvia "BioFumo" (italian made) but have run out of that one and doubt I'll get it again.

My pal over in Antwerp has a partial, with the little metal clips and he swears by them - but pay the extra to get a good one made probably save you 3K or more.

Let me know what they say about the Confusion, I have enough to last a while, but it is one of my v.good ones, CV, MBV and Strix seem to be my mainstay juices these days, with the odd other one thrown in now and again, even going off a lot of the NT ones.
