True it wasn't a good thing to happen, and I don't mean to alarm anyone, but just be aware of how many times they give drugs when possible - it's always OK to question it or check. That wasn't a very nice story, good job you were there, will definitely think about taking my own if it ever happens again, trouble is next time will probably not be a day case, the staff at King's are very good, being a teaching hospital they have a variety of cultures working there, the guy who was doing the Catheter was a Roman called Roberto, the chap moving the Ultrasound Imaging Scanner around was a Kiwi, don't know where the Surgeon in charge was from but definitely not here, and we had nurses from France, Poland and various other places, and there was always at least one nurse in the recovery room to look after a max of 8 people in different stages of recovery. Can't see any bruising to the wrist today, just got to keep the puncture wound covered and not use the wrist for the first 48 hours, but it looks like it is healing better than 10 years ago when they went in through the groin.
As for food, perhaps different hospitals may vary, but they don't seem too hot on keeping people nourished, and it is part of a recovery process.
I'd imagine Kings has a very good reputation, and will do a very good job.
That department is a good deal removed from one that fixes hernias and similar on day cases
I like the ones I have from NT (just wish they were available in VG) H1N1 Virus is very nice ..no tobacco taste, Wakonda is rather special too - it gets a hint of dark coffee as it steeps. There's a new SR on Tuesday: DarkSide which may have more tobacco taste to it and perhaps be quite earthy. All of those plus a few more such as the Got Cookie are ones I rely on using at 15-20% in the CV Confusion! Most of the tobacco type juices I have found vile, I have the RY from CV and one I picked up over in Latvia "BioFumo" (italian made) but have run out of that one and doubt I'll get it again.
That sounds good with clips! My pal over in Antwerp has a partial, with the little metal clips and he swears by them - but pay the extra to get a good one made probably save you 3K or more.
Yes, I will - there's no concentrate on the list either thoughLet me know what they say about the Confusion, I have enough to last a while, but it is one of my v.good ones, CV, MBV and Strix seem to be my mainstay juices these days, with the odd other one thrown in now and again, even going off a lot of the NT ones.
Nicoticket often lets people know on the forum when stock is running down or due to disappear for good.
I do know a couple of places to get VG Crème Brulee from, including Nicoticket. There's something about the CV ones - perhaps a slightly different brand of VG, but it seems to give me less trouble. I use zero nicotine with the ABC & Confusion or I'd think it was the nicotine they use because when they sell it, it's in a VG base.
I also see that Highbrow Vapor has CB too ...it's just that it's another that involves higher postage costs being in the US!
. Could well be a replacement for the Caribbean trifle trish, i did keep wondering what had happened with that one.
I reckon in the near future this one will also go to the bin, and i will get a good old fashioned chip pan.
