Just my 2p worth Trish, it should be 5 clicks for power on and normally 3 or 5 clicks once on to get into the menu. (sometimes they don't count very well or you are a bit slow so 6 or 7 clicks sometimes works)

My vamo used to be like that, very temperamental when clicking it on, and as you say bob. sometimes it took more than 5 clicks.

Trisha, just a thought. Is there a battery protection tab on your Hana. You know the sort of thing some companies install so the item can't accidentally go off in transit. Might be worth taking the battery cover off and seeing if there's something covering the battery positive terminal :)

It's totally cool to touch now so I unplugged it. Red charge light still showing but perhaps just a reminder to unplug it. Normally, the read-out would show me it was charged anyway I'm assuming.
So now I've tried multiple rapid clicks, and still nothing.

Perhaps tomorrow I can take the back off and see if anything looks loose!

As long as it's working for you Trisha, that's all that matters :)
Yay! Now that does work for me! :thumb:

I had a strange experiece earlier ! As one of my coil trials for when my orchids arrive, i did a dual coil set up aiming for 1.6 ohms in my trident. 14 wraps of 30 gauge each coil.

Put it on a mech with a fully charged battery, and it was taking ages to heat up. but was firing. so i put it on my i-stick and it read no atomizer ? Thought i would see what the meter said, and it read 1.4. Good enough, back on the i-stick, and it was still reading no Attie ? Hmm.

Time to get the big gun out ! so on to the ipv it goes, swtched on and it read 1.4  What the bloody hell is going on  Anyway, i set the watts to 20 and it lit up like a xmas tree

Back on to the i-stick, reading 1.4, and firing just fine. I am sat here still scratching me melon.:laugh:
Sounds like a connection issue. Checked the leads are making a good connection and are all tightened down?

Or maybe as bob said the istick is temperamental!

Yay, we finally made a worthwhile entry into the dictionary. Vape is much better than twerking in my opinion

Get those screwdrivers out Trisha. Might not have the tab, but it's still a good excuse to have a nosey inside :D Some electronic items have a tab that you can pull out from the outside, but you would have spotted that as soon as you looked at the back of the Hana.

---------------------------------------

I know you've all only just come on to say hi. But I'm going to have to shoot off now. Really tired tonight, only got about 3 hours sleep last night and I need a good kip tonight. Up at 4.30 tomorrow, you'll probably just be going to bed then Trisha - can you give me a yell to make sure I'm up

Night all :D

No, this is the Hana clone we are now talking about, and IAN don't forget that this is the LiPo battery version, and depending on the LiPo used might it be hot wired in,

Trisha, the red light should go out when it is fully charged.

EDIT: Disregard that bit I crossed out, was something else entirely, must learn to read the comments before making mine

Thinking about it now adam, i reckon it was probably some crap on the tridents 510 as it has been sat collecting dust for a few week  Anyhoo, i will get some rayon in it tomorrow and try my 6 mg freebie @ some nice high watts. :)

the pins on the iSticks can get pushed down like a lot of other mods, I've had to lever one up before now.

How on earth did you manage to do that bob.

I just use a straightened out paper-clip, just wiggle it around the pin and lever it lightly, some attys have longer pins/threads so push the pins down on the mods, have you never had that problem before? it's why you see people moaning these days about mods/attys not having spring loaded 510 connectors.

 Must admit got a bit confused when I first read that Bob haha.

I dug out my quasar clone having watched rip trippers recent review of it and while it is still a bit leaky and the o rings aren't perfect I am getting a nice tasty warm vape from it.

Simple 0.6 ohm single coil but I've got the airflow in dual coil mode to provide some extra air. I do that on my magma rda sometimes as well.

My first thought was OK, so is the government still going to try and diminish it? ...I suppose they'll do what they darn well want to as usual though

I did take the back off, and on the left there's the battery pack (in a sort of silver grey poly package) with the connections/wires etc. on top of them, and on the right some electronics covered with a clear red Perspex. There's a circular silver hologram sticker over another inner screw at the top right of that section, and a square one bottom right.
Nothing visibly loose and no tags to pull out either.

Trisha - can you give me a yell to make sure I'm up
Night all :D
Nope, sorry - got the dog groomers coming at 9am, so got to get to bed earlier ...nite Ian :)

In the meantime trish get a ticket opened with ft now ! just in case you do have to send it back :)
What does that entail ...do I have to pack it up and post it back? What a pain!

Trisha, the red light should go out when it is fully charged.
Oh - better plug it back in again then! It had gone cold though.

Any time I see that message on the iStick, if I clean the contact pin on the battery and the base of the tank, it works!

Maybe trish, or they may have a few tips and tricks to get the bloody thing on. It`s worth letting them know there maybe a problem :)

Yeah twas me being lazy trish, i should have known that the dripper would have been a tad dirty on the connection. All is good now though and tomorrow i will try that razzled tea thingy from MB. :)

I was also looking at HHV earlier, and if i am honest theres nowt what tickles me fancy

Yes, that's weird, getting warm means it WAS charging and then stopped, but the light did not go out, sounds a bit dodgy to me, if it still won't come on then I agree with Terry and open a ticket saying it was DOA, and yes it will mean packaging it up and sending it back, but they will tell you what to do.

That works sometimes but not always :)

Yesterday, NT dropped a bit of a bombshell for me: They're not doing the zero Max VG ones any more. There will be some sort of VG line in the future at some point, but I'm not sure it'll be the top favourite ones. OK, some people like VG for clouds of vapour, but others simply cannot function if they use it. I know a few who get pretty serious problems just like me.
I can get alternatives for the regular VG ones (CB & CLS) but as they're expanding distribution I was hoping for more VG, not none!

Anyway, to say it upset me is an understatement! I love Chefs, but there are a few really good ones at NT not similar to any of Chefs. C'est la vie though, and I stumbled on something without even looking for it today when looking for Indigo reviews ;) It's a brand called Gremlin, and I hear their Chocolate Overload is an excellent chocolate one! Their site appears not to ship to the UK, so I went searching and found a pretty good site in France: Cloud House The European Source For American Made E-Liquids
On that site there's a few US brands including some Indigo, SNG and Gremlin, plus MBV. They also do DIY concentrates too. Plus, a 100ml bottle of 6mg ready to use VG is affordable from my point of view.
Payment is via Paypal or bank transfer. PP exchange was €1.20/£1

They make them up themselves by using the concentrates from the various companies, and as such will customise the nicotine and PG/VG ratio, and some offer extra shots too! :thumb:
They do trial packs, 5ml bottles up-over, and even some large sizes (MBV Terry!)

Better still, their shipping is affordable. Free but with just €3 tracking over €50. Very reasonable under that amount. 3-5 days or 5-7 days, with or without tracking.
So, I've ordered 13 - 5ml bottles of Gremlin, SNG and Indigo, and an MBV one I didn't order last time, and I chanced a 20ml bottle of Indigo 5 Bucks: coffee/cream/caramel - caramel macchiato!.

They didn't have the Gremlin Chocolate Overload one in stock, but I'll ask about that - could be they're just out of stock. Whatever I find I like, I can then get bigger bottles!

If you check out the various ones available on that site, at the bottom there'll be a button on some that needs clicking to 'view all' - I almost missed a number of the Indigo ones available there until I noticed that.
They don't have the Indigo NET ones either, so I'll order a few small bottles of those direct.

So, there's a few interesting ones to try out when they get here!

Going back to the build i did earlier bob...14 wraps of 30 gauge round a 2 mm bit. Twas a pain in the bum keeping them coils straight in my pliers when i was torching them  So i am thinking 8 wraps around a 3mm bit will be a bit easier for the same resistance :) What i will do in the longer term is start lowering my nic, so i can go to about 1 ohm without burning my throat to bits.
