Not as attractive in appearance as the nautilus, but at the price pretty good.

I noticed, when buying some BVC coils, FT also have some BVD (not to be confused with the old BDC) and both that and the BVC have the mesh insert. I can't see what the difference is as neither are authentic.

The price was exactly my thoughts on the Nautilus clone, as for the BVD someone in the comments suggested it might mean "design" to show it is a clone or just a TYPO

So what's this new "Post Like/Thanks" thing all about, just under everyone's post count - could be the reason why the forum was down earlier.

Think, I'll ponder this over food. Back later

Don't know, but if you click on the arrow it changes direction suppose there will be someone mentioning it in one of the threads.

Yep, I noticed that too mate. Wonder if the down arrow, is a "dislike" option. If so, I'll be using that on the posts where Terry was picking on me

Ian found a way to increase your sig if you want - bit fiddly - you have to convert it to a bitmap

I spotted yours has changed colour too Bob. I should just sell some of mine that would be the easier option

Terry, talk on other forums is that they do indeed come out of the same factory as the istick

It wouldn't be the first time George. In my other life, when I was self employed, I saw a lot of items that were made in the same factory, on the same machines, by the same people, sold to one supplier for one price and to another supplier for half the price. The only difference was the logo :)

Bob going back to what i was saying last night ! forget the 0.8 coil, and say it was a 1 ohm coil on the i-stick @4.2 volts now most liquids/wick would taste burnt at them settings 18 watts. BUT if i run a 1 ohm coil on my IPV or 0.8 like i do, i vape that at 24 watts with no burnt taste at all...That is what is confusing me mate !

What is your opinion of the Cloupor T8.
I see FT have stopped stocking, but i've seen a few other places where they seem quite reasonable...Any Good??

Seeing as what you said, I have just been looking at some of the comments, and it looks like some people have been sending them back having problems with them and that is why FT have discontinued selling both the T6 and T8, think it may affect people who are trying to max them out though, overheating etc. Cloupor are saying that there will be a software upgrade for them, so as I am not having any problems with it, will wait and see what comes up on their FB page.

Right Ian,just like Sainsburys don't really have their own baked bean factory:laugh:
Think it happens a lot,i bought a Bosch drill bit and it said "made in china" on the packet. If i'd have had my specs with me at the time,i probably could have saved a few quid and bought one in a chinese packet.

The only thing I had that was close to 1 ohm is my Black Lemo @ 1.19 ohm so took it off my T8 @ 20w and then put it on my black iStick @ 20w and it was definitely hotter but no burnt taste, dropped it to 19w still hotter but at 18w it tasted about the same as 20w on my T8, so don't know why you are getting a burnt taste, unfortunately you can't test it with the same juice as it is Dulce de Leche, wondering if on the iStick it is heating up a lot faster and the juice you are using is too thick to keep up with the wicking, just a thought...

EDIT: Just put it back on the T8 and it definitely takes longer to heat up the coil than on the iStick

I had it with Playboy clothing when I had my shop. I used to buy the genuine items direct from their authorised UK distributor. Then one day a rep that I'd been buying discount ranges from, offered me some identical Playboy items at a quarter of the price. Bought a couple of samples from him and at home checked them against my legitimate stock. They were identical in every way. Not clones, they were 100% genuine. So I know it happens in all areas not just e-cigs ;)

Made in China - guarantees quality these days

It could have been a wicking problem like you say bob. I just tried my 1.2 ohm orchid on an i-stick, with no burning at all, in fact a lovely vape, so it has to be the juice i was using, or poor wicking, or a combination of the two.
