Decided to coil up my 3rd orchid earlier on @ 1.5 ohms. single coil, with the wick going into all 4 channels. Put it on a stick, and test fired it, brilliant. Filled her up with some 6 mg SD&C, and went for a vape ! something not right, as i was hardly getting any vapour
Sooo, i looked at the ohm reading, and it was saying 3.5 !!! I thought well thats weird as the i sticks aren`t supposed to fire at above 3 ohms. Anyhoo i tried another vape, and just like one of my other orchids was till i sorted it, the ohms were jumping all over the shop ( a bit like him in the video )
So i emptied it, and really tightened down the post screws, test fired and it was holding up nicely @ 1.4. Refilled, back on the stick, i went hell for leather set it @ 20 watts, and ba da boom, bleeding fantastic
No burning whatsoever, like i was getting with 1.4 in a kayfun, so has to be a wicking issue with the kayfuns.
Anyhoo, Ian and bob, just a heads up for when you get yours, really tighten down them post screws.
