Decided to coil up my 3rd orchid earlier on @ 1.5 ohms. single coil, with the wick going into all 4 channels. Put it on a stick, and test fired it, brilliant. Filled her up with some 6 mg SD&C, and went for a vape ! something not right, as i was hardly getting any vapour

Sooo, i looked at the ohm reading, and it was saying 3.5 !!! I thought well thats weird as the i sticks aren`t supposed to fire at above 3 ohms. Anyhoo i tried another vape, and just like one of my other orchids was till i sorted it, the ohms were jumping all over the shop ( a bit like him in the video )

So i emptied it, and really tightened down the post screws, test fired and it was holding up nicely @ 1.4. Refilled, back on the stick, i went hell for leather set it @ 20 watts, and ba da boom, bleeding fantastic :D No burning whatsoever, like i was getting with 1.4 in a kayfun, so has to be a wicking issue with the kayfuns.

Anyhoo, Ian and bob, just a heads up for when you get yours, really tighten down them post screws. :toast:

If anyones interested there is a 50% off sale at House of Liquid.
They mostly do baccy ones, which i don't buy anymore.
But if you look around the different sections of the site, there are some fruity ones.
I bought 60ml.30ml of Frozen Apple(it was recomended to me) and i thought i'd try 30ml of the Frozen Orange.
They also do an organic range.

I`ll take a look george but i`ve never used them before. Is it a uk site ?

Trouble is, most of us have done something like that at one time or another, I know I have singed my eyebrows & beard pulling out a 15A fuse from a live 750v DC box when I was on the railway.

True mate. I remember one time going to rewrap some insulation tape around a "home made" extension lead that my Sister was using. She assured me she'd unplugged it. Threw me across the room

Not an experience, I'd like to have again.

There is a vape shop in St Helens but the last time

I was in there the assistant was so dozy it put me off

Why do they do that mate ?? An assistant in a vape shop, should be someone who knows their stuff, not someone who hasn't got a clue. If they paid me enough, I'd do it

Yep I'm still Hana-less  Latest report, the sea turtle is now 10 miles from the coast of China, still going round in circles with his 1 fin, but the current is gradually pushing him this way

Great Terry's gone now, we can start talking about him again

You should try being on my buses then Trisha, it's a given that they'll breakdown at some point during the week
Oh, I'd just jump out, kick it and tootle off home!

Probably the armchair, but my backside was firmly planted to it, so she wouldn't be able to lift it. All other sharp/dangerous/heavy objects safely out of arm's reach
You can never gauge the strength of an angry person on a mission!

You must have a much better palate than me Trisha. I don't get any coconut at all. But I've never tried it on it's own, so it could taste different then I guess :D
I do have good senses of taste & smell, but it's more likely to be the fact that I can never resist tasting a drop neat on the back of my hand! It's a mild, creamy coconut taste to me. Chefs have five sweet creams, and their rebranded version tastes the same. A taste that's not there with whipped cream.
Taste, like smell can be individual though ;)

Don't try this at home folks, this is a serious  modder:
What a complete twit!

One word can sum him up completely :

Knob
Aye, that'll do! :thumb:

Trouble is, most of us have done something like that at one time or another, I know I have singed my eyebrows & beard pulling out a 15A fuse from a live 750v DC box when I was on the railway.
Yes, we have ...but I wonder how many of us just happened to have a video camera trained on us even once, let alone for all those silly antics. No doubt he thinks it's funny - or was that the point. :?:

Is there a chance it was a hiccough on the part of the iStick? ...last night I just happened to notice that I got 3.2 ohms when I was checking the battery level thinking it had run down. Pressed the button twice, and got it again both times. Took the tank off and replaced it again and it showed 2.0ohms as it should.

It wouldn't surprise me if all of you knew more than some of the so called sales assistants.
This reminded of an article I read a while ago:

Bloody hell, they are still selling vivi nova`s

I bought some recently to go with the iSticks, don't know if those are the same, the ones I got were BDC took the same coils as the Aspires & Anyvapes & go with my Billet bridge, rather than the old style ones with the top coils & long wicks which were yucky.

I think they were his out-takes from other videos he's made, and finally decided it was time to give us all a good laugh...

That's what most passengers do, no wonder our buses are full of dents

She never gets angry my Missus, and if she does, I can run a lot faster than she can

I think some assistants are just there for window dressing.

Great article that one Trisha. About time there was a decent article about Doctors and vaping :D

I can think of an instance where someone had two screws - bit like bolts? Does that help

....rather than the old style ones with the top coils & long wicks which were yucky.
Gosh they seem so antiquated already, yet it was only 5/6 months ago that I had some of those.
This is a sector where technology seems to be moving forward at a really rapid pace.

I think they were his out-takes from other videos he's made, and finally decided it was time to give us all a good laugh...
Oh! I'd never seen him before - thought it was just someone being a fool!

She never gets angry my Missus, and if she does, I can run a lot faster than she can
Hah! got that angle worked out then!

That's how I test a lot of new flavours too Trisha.
It seems a reliable way to find the flavour and potential strength.

I think some assistants are just there for window dressing.
I get that impression with a number of businesses

Great article that one Trisha. About time there was a decent article about Doctors and vaping :D
I wish all doctors would take the time to learn about this if they don't use them personally - would make a big difference. This doctor has taken it much further and I think it's a brilliant idea! ....much less suspect than formerly having a solicitors office attached to a surgery building!

Certainly have, prepare for every eventuality - I should have been a boy scout

I use it for flavour concentrates too, to suss out how much I'll use in my DIY juice.

I get that impression with a number of businesses

Window dressing to draw in the punters

Most Doctors just seem to rely on their Medical journals rather than doing much research I guess. Shame really, all Doctors should get on the vaping bandwagon :)

Off for a soak now, so night all.

Terry you can come out now mate, I'm going

Yee Haaa ! Bloody Lemo`s at fasttech have gone to restocking again  So i thought sod this for a game of soldiers  I went on ali express, and they have the Lemo drops, cheaper than FT`s lemo.

So i have cancelled the FT order and gone for a refund, and ordered 3 Lemo drops from Ali instead.

True, VG does make a difference ..and perhaps why I should have got it with 3 shots of extra flavour. I like the combination of sharp lemon and cake.

What percentage did you use Adam? I'm wondering how much would equate to extra flavour shots without just stabbing in the dark  Chefs have two Sicilian lemon flavourings (one out of stock) and I'm wondering if that would do the trick with giving that extra lemon edge to some. Even adding a couple of drops to a tank would do it.

I mix with 50/50 PG/VG and used 20% lemon bar concentrate, it was good enough to vape after only a few days but definitely smoothed out a bit after ~2 weeks. I was happy enough with the strength that I'll probably just use 20% again. The recommendation of upto 40% suggested to me before I tried it that maybe their concentrates are weak but I didn't think so compared to other brands of complex flavours. Not sure how using all VG would affect it in terms of % but you can always add more after a week or two of steeping.

Yep I'm still Hana-less  Latest report, the sea turtle is now 10 miles from the coast of China, still going round in circles with his 1 fin, but the current is gradually pushing him this way

Some batteries I ordered from FT have landed in the UK nearly two months after ordering them so my turtle has made the journey in the time I expected
