Well, out of the blue, Sister Maxine phoned me this afternoon to tell me she was retiring - I told her I'd seen it by chance on the practice website yesterday, and that we'd miss her a lot.
She said her sister in law is taking over her job and that she's been telling her all about her patients, and that I'll find her just as comfortable to see. That reassured me! She said she'd phoned to ask what prescriptions I needed to last me a few months ...how thoughtful of her!
She even told us which doctor at the practice would be best suited to us, so no need for us to change right away.
I've found I can actually get private prescriptions of anything she prescribes for me apart from BP tablets ..and I only take those if mine goes up, and then just 1/4 tablet, so one pack lasts me over a year!

That's great CS from Sister Maxine. At least you know you'll still be in capable hands when she retires Trisha

Hah! the Chinese government sin't pleased with the UK right now due to our sympathy with the HK population, so perhaps they've put a clamp on all UK shipping!

That is quite a possibility, anything for the UK gets put in a box until it gets too full then they send it on to the next office where the same happens, but that will only affect stuff coming via CP, those coming via HK might get delayed if workers are part of the demonstrations. the one that arrived today was 11 days via SingPost, so not too bad, had to pick that method today because of the internal battery, and yes that is quite a powerful battery, the one in my semi-mech mod that can do 250w and 60A is 4500mAh so a 4000mAh battery in such a small mod is incredible, although I am now doubting FTs description about 5w as most other places are saying the minimum is 7w for the DT50

I'm hoping they're in transit and the tracking hasn't updated/broke!
they refunded the postage on the Hana the same day - not worried really, just don't like waiting for longer than expected.

That said, the tracking on the repeat Cloudhouse order isn't showing it as being in the system yet! There's quite a few in that order that I'm really looking forward to trying ..and three of them I can't get direct!

Your turtle must have had 2 fins then Adam just had a quick look on FT my batteries and Hana (don't laugh Terry) left HK on the 12th Nov, so it will probably be here next year sometime.

Tracking on mine said it left HK on 28th Oct and it arrived in the UK 6th Dec, delivered today (8th), so maybe another 2 weeks wait for you. Might make it in time for christmas!

My better half got some new baubles for the (now in place) christmas tree but unfortunately they didn't come with any string to hang them with, just a tiny hook which was too small to get over the branches.

So now they are hanging perfectly using some 32ga kanthal I probably won't ever need for vaping

So now they are hanging perfectly using some 32ga kanthal I probably won't ever need for vaping

Since i started using the 28, i don`t think i will use the 30 again, so if she ever gets any baubles with no string i know what to do now
