Yes, like i said trish, twas only an experiment and i will just go back to 12 mg 50/50 :) I thought any higher than 6 mg would be too much for me at high watts/lowish ohms, but it turns out not to be enough
I suppose always best to stick with what works best for you! :)

I actually got too much nicotine two nights ago! Only using my usual 6mg, but was trying to deal with a problem and obviously used far too much. I stood up and my legs and hands were shaking!
I just ordered a 30ml of zero doughnut to go with 100ml of 6mg ..using too much of it so will take the opportunity to lower another one. Posset is only ordered in 3mg now.

I thought it was russian made, but the only thing that comes up is the following which also shows 5w : DOVPO DT-50-New products-Shenzhen Dovpo Technology Co., Ltd
Looks like a huge e-cig corporation in Guangdong. I like this in the description: 6.Please observe the rules strictly. Avoid beating the product when using it. do people really get that mad at them!

Not expecting it before later today :)
No, it was way too much to expect next working day delivery!
At least it's well steeped and ready to use!

It's not He-Hee, it's Ho Ho Ho,
Only if you're calling for Santa!
I think it's an age thing really, the older we get the more we hate it, kids all grown up and if it's anything like my family I hardly see my son or grandchildren except when they want something from us, so it's really just another day of the week really, I still do a traditional type dinner for the two of us (but use a BM turkey breast roast), so like this year there will be 3 roast dinners, Thursday, Friday & Sunday (although I might give the Sunday a miss as they are so close together), but apart from that it'll mainly be looking through the guide to find something decent to watch on the telly that hasn't been repeated 100 times.
I was only in my 30's when Mum died, so young enough to have still enjoyed the magic of it all ...she loved making it special for us all.
Once they were gone and our own sons grown up it changed a lot.
They're pretty still close by, and we usually have Christmas dinner with our eldest and his wife.
We do have two small grandsons (our younger sons children), but they're a bit too loud and wild for us to put up with for too long. One or both usually cries loudly (mostly for no good reason) or one will be naughty or start climbing on the furniture. They never learned not to .... in, so it's impossible to have a proper conversation, and for me it's just something I don't enjoy at all.
My husband tolerates it better than I do but is always exhausted when they've gone. They always say 'just call in for an hour' ...and it stretches on with the boys begging for just 5 more minutes, and then it gets to another hour. All the while I'm getting more wound up by it all!
I'm just not too tolerant of small children.

This year, we're going to have a very untraditional lunch just ourselves: Kleftico with sauté potatoes and a side salad - followed though by Christmas pudding & cream! :)

I've got no excuse, I'd read you guys reducing nic and pg at higher wattage

so yeh it's you and Ians' fault

Although I have reduced nic, I still use the same 50/50 mix, the only ones I have that are Max VG is the Goose juice which is only made that way, and the Accies Ambrosia which I added VG to, that I use in the doge because of the build and extra high wattage that I vape it at. reducing the PG you will lose flavour/throat hit but get better clouds, to get the flavour back you would need to increase the % of flavour.

Something got lost in the translation methinks.

I was only in my mid 20's when my step-mum died, and i didn't find out until a week later when a copper turned up with the message, appears Dad (spit!) had lost my address/phone number and didn't know how to get in touch, but at least I managed to get up to North Wales for the funeral. My lad (40) is literally about ten minutes away but we still hardly see him, maybe twice this year at our house. The g/son (20) smokes pot so is weird and stays away, the g/daughter (18) now has a pacemaker fitted, at least she keeps in touch via FB, only saw her this year when she was in King College Hospital which is on my doorstep. Missus only sees her sister about once a year - what a family eh!

Must have my traditional style dinner at Christmas though - it's the only thing I really enjoy ( except making it  )

Oddly the same juice seems more palatable this morning

and an added bonus, although the juice tasted lovely before, it had a bitter aftertaste

that has all but gone, dunno if it's the reduced pg or nic or both

It can also be the juice itself, some juices are harder on the throat than others, also the wattage comes into play depending on how you vape, one of mine in a Mini Nautilus once was great at 20w doing mouth to lung hits, but I had to reduce it to 10w to do a lung hit, because at 20w it just made me choke.

I've got 2 brothers one lives in London and the other in Carnforth

The last time I saw either of them was 21 years ago at my younger

brothers funeral, time before that was in 1983 at my mothers funeral

but I wouldn't want it any other way

I have a step brother and step sister, he is somewhere in the Birmingham area, and I haven't seen/heard from him since his mum's funeral, I still keep in touch with her though even if it is only once a year, she'll be 77 on Saturday, think he's about 73 now.

I've found Gaviscon helps
....Hmm - how much do you give 'em? ;)

The 2 things I love about grandkids is that if they cry you can give them back
And they're usually gone by tea time
Ah - not quite like that for us. They would arrive, sit back and let the boys run around with very little intervention, wait for lunch to be made, then coffee - and depending on the weather, at least one would settle in the garden. Sometimes, tea time came and went with more food being prepared. By the time they left it felt as though the house hasn't been cleaned for weeks and I'd lost a whole afternoon of work time.
Any mention they made of us having them for whole days or overnight was met with a negative. When I'm on top form, I work all afternoon and until the small hours - couldn't function with small children causing mayhem. I don't have that kind of patience, and my husband isn't a lot better.
Things have changed - we were told not to tell them something is naughty ...gives them a complex and makes them naughty ..apparently
...and one of them, if he doesn't get his own way, will open his mouth, screw his eyes up and literally bawl like flicking a switch on. Last time he was left with us for a few hours I just glared at him and told him to stop making that awful noise for no reason. It stopped. But I can't do that when they're around!
The elder one is just 8 and getting angry with everything ....not nice!

Yes, translated instructions can be very funny ...or extremely incomprehensible!

Sometimes, families can be too closely knit, and problems can easily occur. Never sure there's a perfect situation.
We were a small family with none of my Dads siblings having children, and only one of my Mums with two (that we knew of). Most of hers were in different parts of the country. Dad's mostly in Yorkshire, but quiet people.
My parents were never anything but helpful and good to have around - probably why I miss them so much.

Must have my traditional style dinner at Christmas though - it's the only thing I really enjoy ( except making it  )
This will be a first for us, but I'm looking forward to it. I'd rather make something like that, or stroganoff, pasta, etc. than a traditional dinner.

Sort of my way of preferring things too. We've got to a stage where we like to please ourselves what we do and when rather than feel obliged with family etc.

Trisha, postie just came with my present, thanks. :)
Great! Glad you got it. It's steeped to a lovely deep colour hasn't it! :) It really has become an all day one for me, and interspersed with LCCC, Mint Choc Vapetto, Posset and whatever else I feel like using! Hope the other two taste as good as they still smell.
My Chefs order was despatched by signed for delivery yesterday but hasn't arrived today.

Mine doesn`t vinnie :( I have got 3 orchids, with 2 of them running great, one one my IPV, one on my Hana are both brilliant. I rebuilt the 3rd one earlier, with a 1.2 coil so i can use it on an i-stick. Filled it with the same juice, and it tastes bloody awful, and again it`s not wicking right !

I have been using rayon for ages now, and have it in all but one of my tanks, and they all vape brilliantly so i do know how to wick my coils correctly. Which leads me to conclude it`s got to be the juice. Destined for the bin i reckon  And i will never buy a VG heavy juice again !

Dont fling it put some menthol in with it

Some guys on other forums say the stick has"rattlesnake effect"

because of the way the power is delivered, I'm not that well up on it

but could it be that ?

I don`t do menthol Vinnie, can`t stand the stuff !I am just putting an order in for some more at my usual 50/50 12 mg. I have heard that rattle snake expression before, but whatever it is, all my other juices taste just fine on the sticks. My Ali order shipped today as well, so i have got some Lemo`s to look forward to now :)

Trish, what is chefs PMP like ?

Tried the Highbrow Tiramisu late last night and again today - Very good!
Their website description has: espresso coffee, dark chocolate, mascarpone
First thing I get is a very good espresso coffee flavour followed by the addition of dark plain chocolate with a hint of cream. A sort of mocha.
Perhaps not an all day one, but I do keep going back to it! :)
I'll definitely get more of this one as well as the Dark Chocolate I tried yesterday. (That chocolate will also be nice with a good strawberry!)

That's two out of three so far (Limoncello is nice, but not a sharp/strong enough lemon for me)

Next will be the Caramel Cake followed by Cheesecake Torte, and another stab at the Cappuccino Diablo (wasn't brilliant in a mPT2, but think it'll be better in a MOW).
I got the Cheesecake Torte to add fruit or chocolate flavours to, and the initial drop taste was very creamy and nice.

Aw! I didn't get any of my expected ones today either! Hopefully tomorrow ..and before I have to go out!

Have you tried the SDC with something else ..another tank or battery? I haven't used SDC for a good while now, but as you know, all mine is used in standard tanks with ready made coils at a much lower wattage. Put a drop on the back of your hand and taste it - does it still taste awful?

You reckon it would go with Spottedick?

What exactly is this rattlesnake effect?
