Ian i was having problems with me lids, had to remake pieces about twenty times cos of my complete stupidity. Not to mention my eyes would just not cut....LOL! it all sounds cryptic no? :)

It does sound very cryptic.

Probably best just to walk away for a while. When I was working on a motor, if I had a problem with a job, I'd give it 3 attempts. If I couldn't sort it out after 3 trys, I'd walk away for an hour or more then come back to it. The break helps to re-focus and the majority of the time I'd fix the problem then. Sometimes you can get brain-drain

Well i put down my tools today so i could have a bit of a clean up. I've been playing with the new Vamo that i've had for two days now. One thing that i've found is the crappy spring heats up as soon as you go over 4v so will make a new spring out of copper tomorrow.

That is just an excuse to get some more earings paul, you can`t fool me mate.

ooh forgot to mention my Oddy and the other dripper turned up today. Need to strip the Oddy and give it a good clean plus give the ceramic insert a good burn as it has slight smell to it which will taint the juice.

Let us know how you get on with the oddy mate,

There is a fellow on flea bay what does batteries called torchy, he is in scotland and it is his own business. Very reasonable prices on his aw imr batts.

You will have to remind me of the other dripper, was it the V 10 ?

Has your Vamo not got the updated hot spring Paul ?

I normally use my Vamo in RMS mode between 7.0 and 9.0 watts and never have any problems. I've even taken it up to max watts once just for a laugh, nearly blew my head off, but the spring was still ok. It might be the battery negative contact, if you're having issues.

I'm gonna have to get some AW IMR 18350's too Terry. My new Paps will take a protected 18350, but only just. I had to take out the brass screw in the top cap and there was still a 2mm gap between the top cap and the body. Looks like I need some decent shorter 18350's. I have seen them here, how do they compare to the torchy's prices ???

Been on lates the last 2 nights :(

Doing the "scum run" into Manchester on the 83's (hate doing them). Finished at 1am back at the depot.
Only problem is, I'm back in work at 10am. These shift patterns are crap. So I really should go to bed

Yes terry it is the V10, nicely made but it did have one of the O rings trapped in it so it split and they don't send spares. They should have lubed it up before putting the body on.

Ian only running it at about 4.2v, the problem is with SS as it is not a good conductor and yes it has a gold spring in it but not sure what that is made off? could be anything. I'm still happy with it apart from a few nigglys. Had to use one of my collar rings to use the kanger pro as it was way to airy for it.

Hey paul, have you tried it using just one O ring ? I think it would be ok.
