You had to do it didn't you. Just when I thought it was safe to put my credit card away. Along comes ribbon :p

I was going to get some soon, to be honest mate. All the posts I've seen say it's really easy to work with - not like this bloody Ithaka

I've messed with it for ages now, it still won't work right. I even stripped it all down, tightened up the coil spacing and re-fitted them in a cross pattern (the way Scott does in his Ithaka reviews). Snugged everything up nice and tight. Altered the return juice supply, cos I thought that might be causing problems. Tried vaping it again and it's dumped 2ml of juice all over my KTS.

I can't find where it's leaking from, everything is set up the way it should be. So I think for the first time ever, I'm gonna try out FT's return policy. Shame really, cos I was really looking forward to using it too :(

On the plus side, I'm now onto caramel macchiato, which is pretty good too.

sorry about the ithaka mate (glad i didn`t bother now)

Yeah i would open a ticket, It wouldn`t be too bad if it was just a couple of quid, but $35 well, fire it back.

That coil i did took me two minutes, to build and have it running. dead easy, cos it is flat you just build it so your coil is a mass, all touching brilliant.

Nothing done today on the stands but i did get to see my dad and cut a huge load of steel up. Glad the ribbon is working out and will try that myself at some point. Well the 8 diagram has been shipped today :), still no sign of my batteries from elsewhere? thats a month now and my adapters and other tanks from FT have not turned up either :-(

i don`t think you will get your f/t stuff till the end of the month paul,

Small orders can take up to 30 days.

thought I could get some 18350's from local new vape shop but just got a vacant look from the sales assistant
I said to fit the vamo and he said is that the big one.
think they need some more training on the products they sell.

Here you go Daz, I bought some stuff from them this week.

I've got the efest and AW IMR 18350's from them

Batteries and Chargers

You're right about the vanilla custard from megavape, got some myself this week, lovely stuff :D

I've opened a ticket mate, see what happens now.

Been looking at loads of vids for the ithaka and they all show fixes that I've already tried, gutted really. A small bit of leaking I could cope with, but when it gets to the point I'm worrying about killing my mod or batteries - that's a no no.

Don't know about that Terry but they will not work if the ohmage is too low which maybe what you are refering to? They won't work with my v10

I know most of the battery threads recommend protected batteries for low drain mechs, but AW IMR high drain batteries (unprotected) for high drain mechs. The daft thing is, I've got some protected batteries at 1200mAh, but my unprotected 800mAh batteries work better in the GP Paps. I've now got this up and running by the way :D

Update to follow.

Tonight's update, I have been busy

Using my Paps Lux now. This thing is tiny, it's actually shorter than the X9 I've got on top of it. Button throw is that short it's almost like a touch sensor. Really impressed with it.

Tried all 6 juices from megavape now. All taste great in the YK1.

The V9 and V10 drippers both work great with the modding that I've done, but I've managed to blow one coil on the V10 already

So apart from the ithaka, all's good in Rochdale tonight
