When I ordered it I had been thinking my throat issues were from a bad batch of nicotine or a menthol juice :/ Someone suggested that it was PG finally aggravating my throat, so I got some 100% nicotine VG and high VG juices.
All I know is that I have a 24mg Newport (menthol) PG juice that KILLS my throat, but it is the only thing that kicks my craving down IMMEDIATELY. I can vape 80PG/20VG at 12mg nicotine for hours without an issue - throat is fine. So now I am TOTALLY CONFUSED. I've considered that it's just the menthol and higher nicotine.
I vaped my Dekang Dr. Pepper just fine this AM without any major throat irritation, so I think I've got to re-evaluate the PG being an irritant :/

What are everyone's favourite mod & atomiser combo?
Previous to getting the provari, i would have said the vgo2 650 battery and the megacarts i get from JAC Vapour. They arent the best, but compared to the other stuff i have they match up and work together better than anything else i had tried. The evic doesnt really seem to 'go' with anything if you know what i mean, and i just havent got the right atty for the ba gua yet, or more accurately i may have the right atty but just cant use it yet!

Cody, can you post a decent picture or two of your coil set up on the aga (side view inside the tank and a coupe of angles on the wick set up). Might be able to give you some more pointers then.

Cody, can you post a decent picture or two of your coil set up on the aga (side view inside the tank and a coupe of angles on the wick set up). Might be able to give you some more pointers then.

My juice order from FT from 28 August still hasn't arrived, no co-op tanks. But the Reo has passed through about 4 different USPS sorting points and is finally at New York - hope this means it will be on the plane soon

Good to know, Ian! I have lots of different VG/PG mixes now, but limited 24mg nic... which is what stops my cravings VERY QUICK! I'll figure it out here sooner or later =] Thanks for 50/50 24mg suggestion though! <3
I am very dehydrated recently I think :/ Drinking more coffee than water recently, headaches 2 days now... It'll be water once I get off of work and some electrolyte replacement for the rest of my weekend.

I have a newly acquired cherry red Provari with a extension cap [red screen] that I need to get rid of as well :/ I am just not doing well with the way I hit the button too soon between inhales. I turn on the menu again and again, adjusting the settings... unintentionally. I had the same problem with other mods that I could not shut the menu off on :/
The Provari is a nice mod, well made, heavy, buttery threads, and very solid... but I won't keep it. The menu getting cut on with my personal heavy button use irritates me too much :/

Still the same... dry hits all the way. My theory is that i need to improve the coil on the wick a little, keep it a little further away from the centre post as it seems to get pulled over towards it and most importantly to get my wrap a little looser... As it's the wick that seems to be the problem then i think Ian's original diagnosis of the wick getting choked is correct, and when i tried to loosen it up i went too far the other way, then when i tried to get in between too tight and too loose i screwed something else up. I think having to do a vertical wick for my first attempt is making it harder. When i looked at the coils on the RBA in the vape store today they looked so much more simple... just the wick in a kind of squashed down 's' shape and a 3/4 coil wrapped around it on the middle.
Terry - i think you may be right and i might just scale down to a simpler RBA to practice and get better at wrapping coils before going back to the aga. The main reason for getting it was that i wasnt getting the vape i wanted with my current tanks / attys but i'm really happy with the protank 2 on the provari now so not as big a rush

I did try that this morning, but the pics were hopeless - too out of focus. I've got an iphone i use for work, so if i try again tomorrow i will try a pic on that as it's likely to be a better quality camera, although i see my little lad on Sundays so i probably wont get another chance to have a go until next week now. Besides, you will laugh when you see it!

It was only about 8 quid, and i have had it a few months now. Honestly if you look how much i have saved, since packing cigs in; it is a drop in the ocean.
You're welcome Lisa, I do prefer 50/50 most of the time to be honest, seems to give me more flavour and is less harsh.
If I had some spare cash, I might have made an offer for that Vari, red is my favourite colour

That's still pretty quick Paul if it gets here for Tuesday, I was expecting at least a couple of weeks - so any sooner is a real bonus.
Just re-read this... I've not noticed that problem at all - i really like the one button control for everything, much better than trawling through the menu on the evic, although it's only a day that ive had it so perhaps i will notice this more going forward. Could it be different versions of the provari perhaps where this could be something that has changed? The only thing i did notice is that when you turn the voltage up or down you have to wait 5 seconds or so for the menu to clear, but didnt seem like it would be a problem with firing it quickly one after the other.
