What coils have you been running in the RM2 Ian ?

So far I've just got the one I did yesterday. Used a 2mm drill bit with about 10 wraps of 30 g kanthal (I think it was 10 wraps once I'd pulled the ends to even things up a bit, started at 13). It's more of a mini than a micro, comes out just under 2.0 ohms. Single cotton wick down to the deck, with 1cm tails. The space between the airhole and the wick is a little high really, it's about 2mm above the deck. But I've gone through 5ml of juice so far and it's going great.

I was gonna have a play today, but "she who must be obeyed" had a stack of jobs for me, shouldn't have told her it was my day off

Next set-up, I gonna go for a micro, closer to the deck. But this ones working so well, I don't want to rip it apart just yet, until I'm changing flavour.

Exactly the same way I feel mate. Now if I want something expensive, I just stay away from FT for a while and save up a bit

I've spent a huge amount on mods and stuff so far, but still less than what I would have spent on stinkies. Once my last few orders come through, I won't need anything for a while (famous last words I know) ;)

I wonder how many times that has been said on this forum!

I really didnt need anything this month but £300 later and I'm still looking at bits to buy :p

My future plans include:

1. Mixing the perfect menthol tobacco [Virginia Slim] tobacco juice
2. Joining a MVP2 co-op and getting one for $35 versus FTs $45 kit
3. Completing my Janty Kuwako e-Pipe with 650-eGo battery, cone, gooseneck and Bud-Clearomizer like this one Kuwako-Pipe | Flickr - Photo Sharing!. I have the Janty Kuwako head, eGo batteries, gooseneck, and I need to find my eGo cones :'( I've kept them, just need to FIND THEM. The Bud-Clearomizer is a bit harder, but I do have CE3s that I plan to use instead. I'll put it together tonight and take a picture of it =] I've had it ages, just never put it together XD

Oh, and after the MVP2, I don't need to buy anything more, ask Cody XD

That pipe looks pretty cool Lisa, you do know you need to use it sat in a rocking chair though. Sorry, but I just have this vision of Granny Clampett from the Beverley Hillbillies smoking a pipe in her rocking chair

Bet within a month though, you'll be adding to that list. Something gold and shiny will definitely show up in the next month or two :p

I dunno, Ian... I have a huge amount of stuff and took pics recently. Added up my juice from one vendor alone and was quite pissy about it XD I have many, many options and enough juice and bottles to keep myself and my new vapers going for awhile, so I'm holding out for the MVP2 and that is it =] I have 2 Grippers and have been using them again to see what I feel about them. Got them, used them, put them away for a shiny new trinket LOL Now I'm going back to them =] When I see $10 - $15 on Fasttech I buy it, put it away and play with it later =] This actually saves money in the longrun when they are going for $50 - $70 in the states :p

Must admit the MVP2 does look like a really nice piece of kit. I really need to get organised with taking some photos of my toys, but the phone on my camera is useless and I can't, for the life of me, find the cable that connects my camera to the laptop. I need to hunt it down though, so I can take the camera on holiday and be able to save the photos afterwards.

Well I've just opened a ticket with FT for my outstanding juice order. Just checked and it was shipped on the 28th August, so I think I've left it long enough now.

I have a big box of stuff that I've put aside too, some of it for PIF and some of it for spares for my spares

How many people have you introduced to vaping now ??

Well, introduced to vaping in RL, only 6 so far and one of those took everything I gave them and put it up for sale on Craigslist

The others are a hit and miss. I've started telling them that I'll give them a week and if they don't like vaping, then I will take my gear back to PIF to someone else.

As far as PIFing to ECFers, I cry at the amount I have given away instead of sold or traded in the classies. I would say that out of 46 boxes of vape gear and shipping at $5.15 each, maybe 10 of those were to friends and to someone that actually traded back things to me. The rest were scammers that either sold my items in the classies after I paid shipping to GIVE IT AWAY or they disappeared forever or they took pictures of it and doled it out on some ECF PIF thread and looked like angels as they traded my gear for what they wanted from others :/ I actually THREW AWAY 3 drawers of juice in anger the last time I was scammed! May they rot in Hades =] So, now I only share with friends... the strangers that pop up and need stuff can roast.

I can't believe people would stoop that low. That's awful selling the stuff on after you've been kind enough to try and help them out. That's almost as bad as some of the professional beggars I sometimes see in the town centre. One woman sits on a piece of cardboard with a hungry and homeless sign and takes money off passers by. One day, I was sat at the bus station on my bus, I saw her go into the toilets quiet smartly dressed. Ten minutes later she came out wearing tatty, dirty old clothes with her begging sign round her neck. Plus, I've dropped her off a few times at night and I can tell you, she lives in a very nice area of Manchester.

It really does get to you though, when you think your helping someone out, that's genuinely in need and that's how they repay you

Well, you know that they have done studies about professional scammers/beggars, right? The guy standing at the street with a sign actually makes $50-$70 an HOUR while you and I toil for a pittance and eat as cheaply as possible.

Anyway, I don't stay around some threads long because of it :/ I am in another thread now where one gent had been going on about what he had and then one day he just comes on and says that he's quit his job, then he says he is running out of his juice, and today he started discussing his health issues... We need a DELETE button for the entire THREAD and not just an ignore button. If some of these people are truly in need, then many send things, but too many times I am seeing the same theme... a lack of pride and a gentle pushing.

That really sucks big time. I remember seeing a documentary a few years back about those scammers. Some of them down in London are earning the amounts you said. I remember seeing one guy that would park up his Bentley for the day and go out begging, he was claiming benefits though and that's how they caught him. Probably best to stay away from those threads Lisa, wouldn't want you to become the sort of person that doesn't help anyone out. But I guess, after a while it's easy to see through the scammers. I think that's the only problem with this forum, everyone is so willing to help out, that eventually the scammers will realise this. I'd hate to see the community on here change because of this :(

Anyway, on a brighter note, I'm still loving this Reo. It's impossible to over feed it, unlike the Vmod. Just lush vapour and flavour every hit.

Reo? What Reo? The REO 14500 (Mini), the REO 18650 (Grand), and new REO mini 2.0 18490? or the wood: REO Woodvil 18650, REO Woodvil 18490 and the Variable Voltage (VV) REO Woodvil?

I've seen you post NEITHER, not even craptastic PHONE pics :/

PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!

=] I wanna see what you got :p I've been using my Gripper the last 2 days... it's a bit too wide for my hand, but I put an 8ml polypro Boge carto tank of Dekang Turkish on it and it is divine =] And yes, I posted pics =] IN MY BLOG LOLOLOLOLOL The VV Gripper is on it's side there =]

Oi! By the way, I requested that the library buy the Secret of Santa Vittoria audiobook by Robert Crichton. They DID buy it for circulation and I get it first =] Going to take it home and... review it :p

Well, I have to go to the public desk in a bit so, I'll see you when I am able! Good to see a bit more of you!

I thought I had to go now, but I have a bit more time XD I used to have an 'Old Goat' bottom feeder... it was an odd thing :/ It was VERY WIDE and took AA batteries o_O I gave it away in a PIF :p

Post 2227 Lisa, can't believe you missed it :p

I can promise you it is true, hand on heart and hope to die

I still can't load up photos yet though, til I find the lead for my camera. I've got loads to do as well.

I got the Reo Grand in black crinkle with a red metallic door, it's amazing. With a Reomizer 2 atty and a better delrin button cover, it really rocks.

That's a great result with the audiobook, nice bit of bedtime reading for you then :)

I'm going to be going soon though, sorry to say, it's getting close to midnight here and I'm back in work tomorrow worst luck. Got a 12 hour shift tomorrow, not looking forward to that at all. Bet the old goat went through a lot of batteries if it took AA ones.

You'll probably find you need to check the ohms on the lowest setting on the meter mate. When you turn the dial to the right position it should show a 1 on the display before you start checking the coil. Also, touch the two probes together so you get a reading to deduct for zeroing. With mine it reads 0.5 ohms with the two probes touching, so I just deduct that off my final reading.

ah ha, so thats how you do it ?

I will give it another go later on mate.:toast:

Rest easy and have a great day tomorrow even if it will be a long one <3

I didn't miss the post, there were no pictures there either :p

Da Da, drum roll please:

My new toys arrived today :rickroll:

Got home from work and my beautiful, gorgeous, stunning, sexy Reo Grand and Reomizer 2 and Delrin button were sat there waiting for me. That's why it's taken so long for me to post.

Washed everything out, couldn't wait for it to air dry, so got busy with the paper towels. Built a quick mini coil @ 2.0 ohms, was going to go lower res, but I wanted to try my new toy out. Popped in some cotton, filled up the bottle with banana/chocolate/caramel and started squonking.

I'm blown away, flavour amazing, great TH, clouds of vapour, easy to feed, feels really solid, well built and looks superb even with a cheapo FT stainless driptip on the RM2. Did I say how sexy this thing is

'I got the Reo Grand in black crinkle with a red metallic door, it's amazing. With a Reomizer 2 atty and a better delrin button cover, it really rocks.' This does sound gorgeous, though =]
