Green Apple is one of my favorite juices. My favorite is Mt Baker Flavor Green Apple or Apple Rings for the candy flavor as well. What's this fasttech Liqua Apple like then? Tart green apple? Green apple candy? Basic red apple flavor?

Ahhhh, congratulations =] I envy you! I am still going to wait a bit for the MVP2 - I just got my fasttech Magneto, Smok Magneto, fasttech Pisces, and lots of toppers in =]

FASTTECH MESH or BUILDING COILING: Uhhhhh, someone mentioned using a toothpick to coil and then later a paperclip was mentioned. Well, I used a heavier gauge wire to roll a coil last night for the $9.25 ATTY Rebuildable Atomizer with Clear Tank (2.5mL) - 1*airhole / 1.0ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping since I didn't intend to leave the mesh from Fasttech in it. Well, instead of a toothpick or a paperclip, I used the same mini-screwdriver to roll the coil that I was using unscrew/tighten :p It worked well and after I got the wick in the tank, it was reading at 1.6 oHms on the eVic =]

So, my question... it says 1.0oHm in the description, but I coiled it at 1.6oHm... does this variation matter? My wire, silica, and building versus Fasttech premade mesh?
yes the liqua apple is a vey refreshing vape lisa, and well worth the investment.
No it does not matter at all lise, you will probably find your coil better than the stock coil.

Still waiting on that astro review.

*cough*trouble*cough*

You will be lucky ray LOL, ian said yesterday that it is on a plane, so he won`t have it just yet.

I got these in yesterday:

f3xjye.jpg

Fasttech Premade Coils & a set of T4s

$6.80 Replacement Wicks and Wires for Rebuildable Atomizer (50-Pack) 50-pack - 2.0ohm / w/plastic case at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

$23.36 T4 Electronic Cigarettes Round Mouth Atomizer (6-Pack / 2.4mL) 6-pack - ships with one of each color / metal drip tip at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Firstly, the pre-made coils are shorter that the first batches I've ordered. They'll be a bit short for some of my toppers, so I'll use the longer ones or re-wick them if need be. I've got 2 orders of these 'boxed' coils so far and the first plastic boxes were very nice with little magnets holding them closed. These boxes just have a nib of plastic you attempt to fit into a hole to keep them closed. The magnet containers are much more effective =]

Secondly, the T4s, although GORGEOUS and with very nice removable drip tips that I wanted, are not performing normally :/ I've put the T4 on an eVic, on a Gripper [with a 510/eGo adapter], on a K100, on my 18350 eGo tube, and finally on the smallest of my eGos, the 650 mAh :/ A mouthful of burned mess is what I get with an extended draw :/ A VERY SHORT button push and I get a mouthful of flavorful vape... a longer pull and burned :/ I'll watch reviews this weekend before I do anything more with them. The one I have may be defective, the JUICE I am using, a Mt Baker Vapor Green Apple, may be apt to burning with it, I am not sure, but I'll not waste more finding out until I read some reviews. =]

As far as the Fasttech and Innokin debate, SOMEONE is selling the Innokin parts to Fasttech, someone with access to a HUGE AMOUNT OF THEM. Could it be that Innokin is selling Fasttech the parts that were later upgraded? Could it be that Innokin isn't moving their product as fast as Fasttech is and now they are POd? Could it be that Innokin had expected a certain price to be charged to keep the products at a certain level as Joytech does with their authorized retailers & fasttech reneged? Who knows... I'll shop where I wish and clones only help me decide if I'd like to purchase the original without spending an excessive amount of money.

Thank you, Sir! I will certainly be pleased with it then!

The coils are good, but the T4s may have issues, Dale. the coils are GREAT!

I've ordered the 10 pack before and the wick was VERY LONG

$2.35 Replacement Wicks and Wires for Rebuildable atomizer (10-Pack) 10-pack - 1.8 ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I just got in the 50 packs and they are much shorter

$6.80 Replacement Wicks and Wires for Rebuildable Atomizer (50-Pack) 50-pack - 2.0ohm / w/plastic case at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Shorter FT 2.0oHm wick SKU1464502 versus longer 1.8oHm wick SKU1432701

POSTED IN ANOTHER FT THREAD:

AIRY DRAW PROBLEMS:

And once the nail polish is dried, you can poke a smaller hole with it with a needle!!

I think those coils may be the answer to my problems with wrapping a coil for the aga and the KFL - i gave it another try tonight (both aga and KFL) and i think i have to admit defeat here. Maybe i will come back to it again some time, but for now i just really want to find somewhere i can get loads of pre-wrapped coils that i can just bang onto the aga and the KFL and get vaping. I noticed the ones on FT before, but Lisa's post has reassured me that they are good :)

My only question is would these FT coils be suitable for my aga/KFL, and also could i slip the coil out of the Vivi nova spare heads and use them for my KFL whilst waiting for some FT ones?

It seems a shame to have these 2 great highly recommended tanks sat on my shelf and i really dont mind if i have to shell out a bit of cash for pre-made ones... as long as they are easy just to get the legs under the screws then i will be happy!

Yep Lisa, the resistance doesn't really matter, as long as your comfortable vaping it. I honestly don't like doing any coils below 1 ohm, not a fan of sub-ohm vaping, for me it heats up the vape too much.

Plus you can use a needle, toothpick, drill bit, screwdriver whatever you find easiest to work with. It's all about finding what's comfortable for you :)

Hi Ian,
Look forward to the update picture, far more than I have. I only have one 18650 mod, but don't like the weight, just too big. I prefer smaller which is why I got a iTaste VV v3.0 coming from FT, and has processed, should get next week. I hope it is what I am looking for in the long run. Mostly I use EGO's and 510-X batteries, I just like them smaller, even if I need several to make it through the day. My out and about pack has 8 to 10 batteries, a PCC, and a dozen+ cartos, CE4's/5's, EVOD's, just don't want to be without if something breaks.

Seen you were off to bed, Hope you got a good nights sleep. Talk at ya later...

Glad to see you back here mate :D

I'll be posting more piccies when I get chance. Must admit at first, I was the same, didn't like the larger mods and only realised used them at home. Then one day, I took the KTS+ to work in 18650 mods, got loads of compliments and questions about it. So from then on, I always take something big out with me (apart from the Vmod), it's good to see the look of surprise when I whip out my mod

I use FT's pre-made coils and I make my own. Making your own can be a royal pain in the derriere.

Here's a tip...use a #4 machine screw. Wrap your wire in the threads, unscrew the prefect coil and thread your wick.

Nice tip... I'll have to give that a try as i am (no pun intended) screwing everything else up!

To be honest mate, I think you might struggle using the nova coils in the aga or the KFL mate. The pre-made FT ones have longer legs so they might work in the aga or the KFL.

We'll have to sort something out for a meet up mate. I can give you a coil masterclass ;) Only problem is, it would probably be after my holiday, so some time in November. Or, better idea, if you can post some pics, I can have a look at the coil. Or if I get chance on sunday, I'll re-coil the aga and post up some pics of that :)

I made a coil for my AGA T2 and hated the vape on it, Cody. I'll hook up a Fasttech coil tonight and tell you how it seems. I think the LONGER coils would be best since the AGA T2 is such a long tank... I just hope that Fasttech is going to keep that oHm with the longer silica and they aren't ALL being replaced with the shorter silica.

OMG! That is so BRILLIANT I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner!!!! PERFECT IDEA! And I can try this with the heavier gauge wire so I can just slip the silica right on through the stiffer coil! Thanks!

Well, my little luvs, I've made a final purchase for awhile =] Now starts Christmas savings for me =] The MVP2 and the little e-pipe will be processed and come in just in time to wrap them up for myself XD

And I've picked up the $2.38 NexTORCH SL6 Silicone Grease Lube for Flashlight Maintenance (10g) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

That's very kind of you to offer mate, cheers :) my ex and my son live over near Rochdale so i am over that way from time to time and i could come over some time after your hols when it's convenient for you if i am still struggling!

I tried to take a pic tonight with my phone and the work one, but it's way out of focus, and to be honest i know full well when ive tried it on the KFL that i am a country mile off getting the kind of coil you need. I'm just not sure i can even make a coil small enough to fit between those screw heads. I'll give it a bash with one of the vivi nova coils though... i bought half a dozen 1.8ohm heads a few weeks back and havent even used the vivi nova since so nothing to lose in giving it a go :)

I find that quite sad Lisa, that you have to wrap your own prezzies for Christmas

Why not take them into work and get someone to do it for you, that way it will feel more like a surprise. Or get Emmy to wrap them :D

It's no problem mate. We want you to be happy vaping, as much as you do. Plus we all help each other out on here :D

There's one condition though, you have to bring the bagua, so I can drool over it :p

We'll sort something out after my hols, if you don't get it organised before. I'll even invite Terry, as long as he behaves himself

LOL go on mate,

Either way i can take it.:)

Good news the RSST's and spare tanks have arrived.

Bad news their not any cheaper than FT. They ended up costing me £18 each (FT ones work out about £16 each).

I did get an extra spare tank for each RSST though, so I guess that evens the price out a bit.

I'll buy us dinner or at least a pint or two ;)

Terry - honestly, there are no diagnostics needed on the coils i have made for the KFL - they were really really bad compared to the vids i have seen. Mine look unevenly spaced, wire looks wonky and either too tight or too lose whereas on the vids and from the pics that i have seen on here they look like they have been made by a professional coil making machine... so accurate and precise with such a tiny little area to work with! You guys have more skill than you give yourselves credit for.
