If you can get a clone up and running, there is no reason you shouldn`t be able to get the real deal going. Unlees there is a defect somewhere down the line.

I'll get a proper price sorted Terry for the RSST and a spare tank. They are the genuine smoketech ones too mate.

The thing I like about them is they have a spring on the positive post that you push down to trap the pos coil leg. Also the tank has a sealed bottom, almost like a cup, so there'll be no leaks and the positive post can be screwed in or out to get a good contact with the battery. Also the coil hole is insulated and you can have the wick touching the bottom of the tank with it being a sealed end on the tank.

Mayhaps I should check out the mesh coil that Fasttech has begun shipping with their toppers. They are selling it now, so when it's already installed it should be ready to vape, no? Otherwise they should package it apart...

Yes as i mentioned earlier lisa,

With the pre installed mesh wick, I would just pulse the coil until you get a nice even glow through the loops; Then you should be good to go.

I'm a Fasttech Dekang Turkish vaper myself =] I've been vaping the Dekang Cigar, French Pipe, Virginia, DK Tab, and Dr Pepper These last ones are all good with a bit of Fasttech Liqua Menthol or a bit of Cinnamon Red Hot or Extreme Ice, but the Dekang Turkish stands alone =] DELICIOUS! I've not had the Hangsen RY4... I'll have to order it the next time I need a load of juice - Thanks for the heads up!

Not sure what Protanks you mean, Ray... my pyrex ones are engraved as Protanks and have been magnificent. The polycarb ones are trash. Gold one had funkified threads that fit nothing except the mushy threaded Sentinel and the silver polycarb protank cracked and came apart from the metal section in 48 hours.

I'd prefer the Gandalf pipe stem, but it's not likely that I'll get one for the prices I am seeing, so I am CONSIDERING altering the actual plastic pipe stems. I am thinking of warming the tip a bit and then fitting it into a metal Boge carto to get the exact fit. I've got an old cracked one set aside to test now =]
