The one on order is the pyrex from FT... I've tried trading screws, nuts, tanks, and whatever other parts there are and nothing is the same. I've got emails out to several vendors asking for them to carry additional parts... I lose these things so easily

That is the problem lisa,

The market is flooded now with different vendors carrying different designs, and trying to mix and match doesn`t really work; Unless it is exactly the same spec.

What width ekowool did you get BTW ?

I think Ian said he was going to try doing that a while back, but i dunno how he got on ! When i got my ekowool i ordered 3 mm; it`s ok for doing my rda`s with but way too thick to do something like an evod or protank !!!

You're right mate I am gonna try cotton in 2mm ekowool. I just need to suss out a way to keep the ekowool open to pop the cotton in. I may just torch the ekowool first see if it stiffens it up a bit. Or see if I can thread a needle through the ekowool attach a thread and pull the cotton through. It will be awkward, but I'll do it one day

I've decided I'm gonna try out the aspire tank next, but from a UK source. I've really taken a shine to them.

Wonder if FT are gonna get some aspires in, might put in a ticket for some

I have just had a thought,

Could you not get a thin drinking straw, stuff some cotton in that, Push the straw through the ekowool, get hold of the end of the cotton, then pull the straw back out ??? ( just an idea what came to me )

That's a great idea mate, might have to give that a try. It would be easier to push a straw through the ekowool.

It doesn`t happen often, but now and then i do suprise myself

You know the straws i am thinking about Ian ? Them crappy carton drinks you get in the paper shop, they cost about 10 pence and come with a red straw !

In fact, I might be able to get some straws for free from the work's canteen. They sell the juice cartons there. If I smile sweetly at the canteen girls, they might give me a couple of straws to try - I could even promise them free bus rides

I agree! Juice carton straws would be much better that the coffee stirrer... They hold their shape better and would be perfectly reusable... I've got to get some juice cartons to test it out

So what route will you take lisa ? get a refund/or get them to re-ship using a different courier ?

Well, my package was returned to FastTech sometime after 10/11, it was reported that 'someone' put new shipping labels on those packages and sent them back through HK. Now they are all unaccounted for because whomever used the new shipping labels failed to take note of the tracking numbers :/ So... many of us have packages that are unaccounted for. I have not been offered a refund at this point, I am just waiting to see when my turn comes. It's only been 2 weeks, after all, and in all honesty I've never done much more than see HK Acceptance change to DELIVERED LOL

Yeah i am guessing that is what will happen with my order,

Still no tracking after 13 days LOL so it will probably just turn up when i am least expecting it.
