Quick update on the alchemist cupboard flavours i bought. They have been steeping for 5 - 6 days now and tried a couple of drops of each of them. Too early to say for the Xmas cake & treacle tart. The lemon sherbert is niiice - more to it than just lemon for sure and I am thinking of mixing it with a couple of drops of mentholyptus concentrate and possibly some honey too.

The egg custard tart seems like it is going to be nice, definitely a good custard taste to it, but will need more time before i can tell for sure.

The real suprise is the chocolate limes though - I have so far avoided chocolate based flavours because when i first started vaping i got a chocolate flavour and it was rank! This however is lovely, after dripping some it tasted great so i just put 1ml in a mini protank and it is a very good juice. The lime isnt too strong - it is absolutely the lime flavour you would expect from the boiled sweets and the chocolate lends it a nice smooth creamy texture, lovely blend and you get this nice burst of lime on the back of your throat at the same time as the TH, then the smooth choc flavour on the exhale. I'll see how the others are but will be returning to AC for more of this one for sure.

Well the order i placed last night of the nemesis, mod stand, and I ATTY, has been shipped today. YIPEE back to some normality at last.

I was going to get a fogger V2 as well but 10 days wait :nah:

Time to do the "happy dance" Terry

You should still get the Fogger mate, my order said 10 days, but it was at the packaging stage within about 6 days. Just waiting for the Kayfun to finish off the package now

I've not seen one, but wonder if FT will do a clone of the GP Salt n Pepa tank. I like the look of those.

I hope they do clone the GP stuff. So far it's the only item they haven't done yet. But to be honest, I can't really see them doing a 1:1 clone of the Paps tubes - my Lux is probably the best piece of quality engineering I've seen in anything e-cig related.

Pumpkin over the holidays is in the form of a pie and is a dessert, not like a squash soup =] This is Pumpkin Pie spice:

3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons nutmeg
1 ½ teaspoons ground allspice
1 ½ teaspoons ground cloves

and of course sugar, pie crust, and whipped cream on top for some. =] Egg nog may be an acquired taste, as I didn't like it as a youth. Now I like it with a bit of bourbon :p

My FastTech orders are all at a standstill. Actually things I ordered stateside 4 days ago, on Saturday, are not updated yet either :/ They say shipped, but not a single one has shown a original shipping location and pickup.

She who must be obeyed made a Roasted pumpkin and garlic soup after Halloween. It was absolutely scrummy. It was that good we had it as a starter for the following 4 nights

Have you tried heat steeping them mate, to speed things up a bit ??

If you like the chocolate limes, you'll love the tailor made juices from vapology. All the chocolate ones I've tried have been really good, a lot better than any FT chocolate ones. My favourite from vapology is strawberry/chocolate/caramel - heavy on the strawberry and caramel bit

Yeah, i could tell from the pics that the PAPS Lux was pretty damned nice. It's probably better engineered than my bagua - nothing wrong with the bagua like, i'm glad i bought it and i'm glad i bought the gold one too, just that the PAPS Lux looked amazing from the pics. I'm not sure i would want a cloned tube, but definitely the tank.

What is heat steeping? I was considering duct taping them to my wheels and going out for a drive... apparently this is a good method!

Vapology are now at the top of my 'next liquid vendor' to try list. On your recommendation i'm definitely gonna try the cappucino and i have now been tempted to get some more choc flavours too :)

I like to have several vendors to get juice from as i see a few people sticking with just the one, but there is no guarantee how long they will be around for and if they suddenly disappear and you are left trying to find new flavours from various vendors i just dont want to be in that position.

I am pushing 50 and have never seen pumpkin in a dish that was not a dessert :p As you can see, we are pretty limited with pumpkin recipes being a dessert LOL

50 Pumpkin Recipes http://southernfood.about.com/od/pumpkins/tp/Pumpkin-Recipe-Favorites.htm

I've never seen (although i have heard of) pumpkin in anything other than non-dessert dishes! I think the UK is big on savoury pies, and USA on sweet pies. I do envy those diners where you get a slice of pie with a big dollop of cream on. :p

To be honest, before I got the Lux, I was a bit sceptical about how good it would be. But once you see it close up, it's definitely worth the money. The threading is silky smooth and a lot finer than any other device I've got. The button push is that short, it's more like a touch sensor - sometimes it's hard to tell if you've actually pushed it or not. For something so small, it packs a massive punch.

Try taping the bottles to your brakes mate, go down a few steep hills - that should heat them up enough for steeping  or you could just take the tops off the bottles and put them upright into some warm water and give them an occasional shake - that would work too.

I'm the same mate with juices. I've now got a list of about 40 or so flavours from different vendors. With my DIY, I'll be vaping for years to come.

Well now... that does sound quite delicious =] I just have to think that pumpkin is a squash... it CAN be savory!

It is lovely Lisa. If you can't get Worcestershire sauce, it tastes just as good without it. We didn't have any, when the Wife made it.

I guess it's the same with carrots, they taste good in a salad, boiled or in a cake. Multi purpose veg ;)

I could nip down to somerset/devon and drive up and down porlock hill! Dont know if you have ever been, but that is one ridiculous hill for a road!

How steep would the hill have to be? (see what i did there... ;))

I need a nice big selection of juices - i lose the taste for them really quickly so got to have a few on standby. Some non-vaping friends are amazed how many flavours there are, but contrary to popular (media) belief none of them who arent smokers have taken any interest in vaping because of the flavour variety!

I prefer Sweet Potato's in place of Pumpkin, that's how I grew up, any pumpkin in a recipe (all sweet), got substituted with Sweet Potato's. Mmmmm Sweet Potato Casserole. http://southernfood.about.com/od/sidedishcasseroles/r/bl90911u.htm (close to how I make it)

I've not been to porlock hill, the fuel costs would be a bit steep for me

I have the same problem with juices, the only one I can vape all day is blackcurrant. Everything else, I'll vape for a couple of minutes, put it down and vape something else. It surprises me too, that the blokes at work can just vape tobacco or menthol 24/7. I've converted a few to fruit flavours now. But none of them will even try any dessert flavours properly.

That sounds delicious, i love a bit of sweet potato. It reminds me of a trip to Amsterdam many years ago with my friend. We both got the munchies after doing what one does in Amsterdam, but weirdly we both wanted sweet potato pie! Unfortunately, we failed to find any and instead went to an indonesian restaurant for some reason!

Funnily enough i am the same with blackurrant. JAC Vapour is the only one i have found that is really worth vaping on it's own because it is so strong, otherwise i prefer it mixed either with menthol or licourice.

I think for me, blackcurrant was the first decent juice I got, after starting on a "Limbert & Botler" juice .....yuck.

Plus, I mainly drink blackcurrant type juices at home.
