I got an authentic hypertank, it ran great for a couple of weeks then started giving me probs with leaking and gurgling. I fix it using any method i can think of, it works great again for 10 minutes then all the problems start again.

I have got a bit frustrated with it now and rarely use it. Let me know if you have the same issues with it pipe-o, and we will see if we can find a solution between us.

Hi Terry,

It can behave a bit like the X10 in that unless the head is screwed in VERY TIGHTLY it will do the leaking and gurgling thing. Also like the X10 it will gurgle when you get about 3/4 down the tank. The solution - keep it topped up.

The FT protank head works better than the supplied one imho (or at least the one that was already in it, rather than the spare which I haven't tried yet).

I've been using a heavy VG mix which vapes really well.

Dig it out and have another go - it's a thing of beauty imho. :)

Was looking at some loose batteries on FT to compare pricing with stateside and this was listed with the batteries.

"This product is temporarily unshippable for retail orders due to air freight carrier restrictions. fasttech can still ship wholesale orders with quantity larger than 100 units per order."

Did not say that with built in batteries (like EGO) that I looked at, just the loose ones.

I have it at the side of me now mate, and it is rather low on juice. I will top her up later to see if she runs any better, i have got 60/40 vg pg in it so i don`t think it is a juice issue. Anyhoo will report back later on.

Tried your suggestions pipe-O,

And i have to tell you she is running beautifully again. After using protanks in the past, i should have remembered that these tanks DO NOT like to run on low. Cheers mate

Well the birthday boy's back

Happy birthday to you to e-pipe :bday:

Internet is still playing up, it's been up and down more than a yo-yo.

But I've managed to get my e-reader, from my lovely Wife, all set up and downloaded a couple of "Andy McNab" books for it. She got me the "kobo glo" which has a built in backlight for reading in bed, great piece of kit. I'm really chuffed with it.

My 3 outstanding orders from FT are all in the post somewhere.

Lisa, when you get chance to do a review of the Fogger, I'll be very interested - I've got one on the way.
