Is this the forum that talks about clones?

Talk about anything you'd like to =] We've got several people so whatever you may want to discuss could actually be owned =]

Burnie - I've been doing DIY since 2009 when I came to ECF to steal a recipe on extracting nicotine with whatever I could get ahold of in Trinidad LOL I've done tobacco extractions, but they are actually... precious to me =] I ration them... The other tobacco products that I do have are basic tobacco and I don't want that type of flavor... boring. I like that super flavorful tobaccos like RY4, Virginian, and Turkish... some Cuban. I can't get ahold of that type of tobacco inexpensively. I love some of the Dekang, Liqua, and Hangsen tobacco flavors - there's no way that I can replicate them... inexpensively. I am not that great a DIYer with flavorings LOL But I've checked the prices on this Whole Tobacco Leaves by the Pound, Buy Tobacco Leaf, Bulk Tobacco, Fronto Leaf, Cigar Wrappers, Binders, and Fillers and it's GREAT! I'll be grabbing some of this and making up a bottle of juice pretty soon!!!

Thanks for the tip!

EDIT: Sheesh! $7.99 for scraps and then $13 +/- for the shipping o_O We going to wait on that :p

Haha Terry, you crack me up, you do all the same dippy stuff that I do! Glad you've got it sorted now mate. I added 10ml caramel from JJ, I'd never of dreamt of trying a tobacco (cos the ones I have tried have been so nasty) but at their price with a good review I can't not give it a whirl - let you know what I think in a few weeks when it's steeped.
Burnie, that threads hilarious - I think some of the posters need to vape a bit more and chill out!
Lisa, I'm glad hubby listened to you and I'll keep a thought for you that everything gets sorted alright for him. I have thought about mixing my own juice but I wouldn't have a clue where to start, plus I'm a bit lazy!
Well, got some clients in this morning and have brought my vape box and new toys to tinker with afterwards - cos I wanna play I'll probably have loads of last minute appts this afternoon, meh!

Cheers Codz - gonna go for the kayfun lite with airflow control, save 30 odd notes and with the other half paying for the Taifun my December vape budget is still looking healthy :D
Think I'll grab 4 more Panasonic 18650's - I honestly can't get over how good they are, put battery in Vamo 8am Saturday morning, vaped all day, most of Sat night as couldn't sleep, all day Sunday, on and off through Sunday night as I was up and down, all this morning and only switched at dinner time today as it was at 3.8v and don't let my batts go below 3.6v if I can help it. Longest I get out of AW or eFest is 24 hours, UltraFire I'm lucky to get 12 hours out of! Need a quality charger too, the one I've got isn't too great - recommendations on good quality chargers for 18650's be much appreciated guys and gals! After that I'm gonna leave my vape budget be and spend a few weeks deciding how the originals compare to clones, if they're winning I'm gonna start buying quality rather than quantity, if they aren't overly superior I'll just chuck my money over to China in exchange for their cheap copies!
That's right Terry, keep your Mrs sweet and she can't moan about your vape spends - I'm lucky, the other half never moans about my vape gear or anything else I spend on, all he asks of my vape gear is that he can measure and draw out my stuff and ask what I think could be better and reasons for me liking it, which I have no objection to seeing as it's so he can design something better for me lol.
I like the look of your gear Lisa - especially the dog coat! My little westie would look so cute in one of those!
Well, mother in law has been and gone, kids are fed, washed and ready for bed in an hour, just gonna sort Mr's tea out and then sit down and tinker with my new toys :D happy days!

I recommend the XTAR VP1 - lots of safety features, and it has a digital display so you can see the voltage of each battery you are charging. It also has 3 charging rates for different size batteries, but i always use the slowest rate as it prolongs battery life. A few people on the forum have them and i have never heard anything negative about them. They arent cheap at £35 (vape escape) but worth it for me.

Oh I love pizza. Most people have a roast dinner on a Sunday, I have pizza :)

My favourite is a nice deep pan, barbecue chicken pizza, with extra peppers, onions, sweetcorn and chillies. Spicy !!!

To be honest mate, I can hardly taste any custard with the GVC. In fact I can't really describe what it tastes like, all I know is it's gorgeous ;)

You'll love the Taifun GT Claire. I think also, when I ordered my KFL I went for that over the 3.1 purely for the price difference. I'm surprised they did the upgraded KFL plus, because I think the draw is already perfect on the KFL. That's just me though

I wish I could keep my Missus happy by buying her some tiles ;) Must admit though, she never really moans at me for spending on vape gear (cos she doesn't know how much I spend )

Those anti-slip mats look ideal for under your vape gear Lisa, good idea that  I wonder if they do the dog coat in human sizes, I reckon one of those would really suit me

Where did you get your Panny batteries from Claire ?? I've only ever seen them on FT so far.

I'm a pizza fan too.. always get one on a sunday night, although my favourite takeaway has closed recently and nowhere made pizzas like them :(

When i am in the office there is an excellent pizza place just round the corner. Super pizzas, but i dont know how they manage it for the price... £3.79 for a 9" with 3 toppings, portion of fries and a can of pop or £4.99 for a 12" with 2 portions of fries and 2 cans of pop :p

That freight is a little high. I got mine as a 1/4lb sample from here Tobacco Leaf Samples - Try Before You Buy! Freight was not that bad for me, I paid $8.25 total ($4.99 + Freight) for my 1/4lb of Virginia Flue Cured. And by the amount of juice I can make from it that is a good price. I can see no reason to get a pound as that would take me years to use it.

I sorted the rocket/kick, it was nothing to do with the kick at all, it was the rocket. When i re-coiled it last night, the screw in the centre of the 510 conection must have loosened a bit, tightened it up and everything is hunky dory.

I am a silly sausage sometimes :p

Only sometimes mate :p

Glad you got it sorted though and it was a simple fix.
It's good to know that you've gotten the cycst removed, Ian... 10 years is a looooooooooooooooooong time for you to let one sit. I have 2 lymph nodes that give me issues 1-2x a year, I just drain them with a drawing salve like Tea Tree Oil or Boil-ease, and continue about my business =]

The hubby returned home early from work this AM, he's had the shakes for a bit now and yesterday I lit into him about how bad they've gotten. Lo and behold he took my rant to heart and went to see the doctor for an exam. He'll be off of work for a few days and will wait for the results of his blood tests and at the start of January they'll be checking his neuro-side.

Not much going on for me today, my day off... just did reviews on FastTech juice from 1 to 2.5 months ago LOL I think my December vape budget will be going to FastTech juice... tobacco juices, specifically =]
I hope your Hubby's feeling better soon Lisa. It's not nice being ill at any time, but on the run up to Christmas, I think it's the worst time ever. You'll have to give him plenty of TLC.
We need more people on tomorrow night's twitterbomb. 9 pm. Be there. :)

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...twitterbomb-nightly-1st-december-9pm-utc.html

The petition numbers seem to be growing really quickly too mate. I've signed it twice with my 2 e-mail accounts ;)

Is this the forum that talks about clones?

And pizza and health issues and atty fixes and coiling and wicking and books and family.....need I go on

That's a great thread that one Burnie. A great read for a quiet evening ;)

I've got some of the JJ caramel tobacco juice on it's way too Claire, on Terry's recommendation. It was actually posted yesterday, so should be here pretty soon. Don't work too hard today, you need to leave enough time to play with your toys

As well as the XTAR charger. The Pila and the nitecore are good ones too. I've got the nitecore i4 myself, great piece of kit

Mmmm pizza. I think I'll have one tonight as well. That's a good price mate for a 12" pizza and extras. The cheapest place near me does a 12" veggie hot shot, spicy potato wedges and Mississippi mud pie for £9.99. But to be honest, I tend to buy the cheaper ones from Tesco or Asda and just add my own extra toppings - we've always got sweetcorn, peppers, onions and chillies in the house, so I can create my own masterpiece ;)

So Today's update :

The Dr decided to give me a steroid injection first to try and shrink the cyst down a bit. He said, I'd need a couple of days off work if he cut it out, because of the position on my chest. I'd struggle to drive the bus without the stitches popping, he reckons. So I'm going back in January to either have it cut out, or if the injection has reduced it enough, he may just leave it. So that's a good result

The juice order from JJ shipped yesterday.
The juice order from triphammer- no sign of movement.
My 3 orders from FT - no vape mail today.
The Vmods from vapage have shipped, but no tracking number yet.
The parts order from the lovely Lisa has gone through the USPS hub at Houston.

So still no new toys for me today, just a stupid letter from the bank about credit card balance transfers (the same one they send me every single month) :(

Yes i have been known to have a blond moment or three claire,

When you get your rocket, just make sure that 510 pin is really tightened down or it will give you grief. And yeah i think you will love the caramel.

Glad you are temporarily sorted now ian, all that flapping for nowt :).

Anyway, bit of an update...got my nemesis I atty and mod stand today, the nemesis is beautiful but i am just too busy to have a real play with anything yet. I did put a flat top 350 in (won`t fire), put a nipple top in (fires).

I really think i need to get some magnetic battery spacers, as i have other mods which act the same way.Any links please guys ?

So i just had a fiddle with the I atty, shorting all the time Then i remembered about the mesh touching the bottom (which it was) i rased it up, and it is now firing perfectly. 1.3 ohm coil pre-fitted should be a bit of a beast this lol. will report back when i have cleaned an filled.

If you order a battery, I just got an itaste mvp, be aware that right now hong kong post is delaying those shipments quite a bit. I ordered my itaste on November 8th, and when I track it it is still in Hong Kong. Pretty frutrating that it does not state a reason or ETA.

I have ordered another itaste from them before and it arrived in 6 business days, but right now you may experience a long delay.

New tracking service posted on another thread that shows movement where none of the others have =] I present to you

Quantium Shipment Tracker

Thanks Lisa. That's the one I normally use to check my FT orders. Like you say, it generally works when the Sing Post link doesn't

I wasn't flapping mate, I was just voicing my minor concerns, over a possible pending minor surgical procedure. Ok, I was a bit worried :p:laugh:

I'm sure I've seen the rare earth magnets on FT, not sure if they work as battery spacers though and to be honest I've never seen any on a UK site. Let us know what you think of the mod stand too. mine has got one pin that needs gluing, but that's it really.

My stand arrived perfect, no glue required :)

Is nobody around tonight, I feel proper lonely on here

Think I'll go and watch some TV then.

Sorry mate, i go out tuesday night ! It was Even quiet in the club tonight ! Time of the year i suppose. I had a quick blast on the I atty before i went out, with the pre-installed mesh wick.

Nearly coughed a lung up LOL...Very very harsh burning throat it was. So i stuffed some 2mm doubled silica down and it is no better. I think i will need to open up the airhole a touch, get a decent coil/wick in; and i am guessing it will be a cracker.

EDIT: found them here mate http://www.cloud9vaping.co.uk/epage...ctPath=/Shops/yxve46fvrnud/Products/B70-01-08 And yep you can use them to extend the length of your battery.:) on another note, i got my 30 gauge wire today opened the packet and there is also 10 meters of ribbon wire:blink:

Ha ha Terry, exactly right - can't count the amount of times I've had something piss juice all over me and thought ah, that's what that little plastic bit on the kitchen floor was from!
Glad to hear Sky are on the ball Ian, faith was completely gone with BT when they failed repeatedly to even inform us installation was being postponed, dread to think what they'd of been like when they were actually taking our money and something messed up - plus with Sky I can add sports, cancel when footy stops and restart it in September :D
Tbh that's what made me so angry at BT, I've missed half the bloody season!!!!!
Right, doing Christmas juice order, getting my faves from TripHammer, Joose Juice and Alchemists Cupboard - you guys recommend any to try out? I like sweets bakery and custards, fruits if they're strong and not synthetic, but I'll try pretty much anything except tobacco! Already got key lime from JJ marked thanks to Terry :)

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm still macerating / steeping / leaving on the shelf! my Trip Hammer liquids, but i did sneak a try of the Rainbow Fizz last night. I stuck 1ml in my mini protank and i usually just have a little over a period of a couple of days and sometimes even pour some back in the bottle because i want to try something else. Not so with this liquid... i vaped it all in about 20mins ;) It's very nice - best fruity flavour i have had, it tastes kinda like those expensive cakes you get that are covered in jellied caramelised fruits. Lots of citrus type flavour to it, nice pineapple flavour, but not overpowering, i would guess it also has strawberry, orange, papaya, mango and others in it. You can also get a little hint of the the flavour of the wham bar liquid too, and there is that strange fizzy tingly kinda taste to it that Trip Hammer seem to specialise in. Anyway, if you havent already tried it get some! It's not quite as nice as fizzy trifle, but it aint far off :)

In other news i have just ordered a few bottles of JJ. 10ml of peppermint, 10ml of cherry pie and 30ml of key lime. I havent tried any of them before but i have seen several people rating the key lime, chief amongst them being terry! I went for a 70% VG mix on this as I am more interested in the flavour, and thickness of the vape with key lime and dont mind sacrificing the TH a bit. Even if i dont like it at £6.38 a bottle i sometimes pay that for 10ml tasters. Not sure if BOGOF is still ongoing, not expecting it to be, but nice bonus if it is :)

I'm adding things to a wish list now on FT for when i order in the new year. I need a nice selection of drip-tips, 60ml of liqua berry mix, 60ml of liqua menthol and then just noseying around at stuff that takes my eye. I quite like the look of this, although i am not getting one because i have my ba gua and i dont need another mech just now...

$36.98 134 Style Mechanical Mod - aluminum + stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The acrylic stands look a good idea too - has yours arrived yet ian? I'd probably just go for the topper holder, this one should do me..

$11.77 Acrylic Display Stand for Atomizer/Clearomizer/Carto Tank - each hole size: 7.5mm(19/64") at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

People are probably a bit knackered after the Twitterbomb. :)

Looks like it mate. I ended up going through a few chapters on the kobo instead last night, nothing I fancied watching on TV.

No problem mate, I thought everyone was avoiding me, cos I'm always bragging about ordering new stuff

I was gonna mention cloud9 for the battery magnets, but I wasn't sure if they did them or not. Glad you found some anyway mate. I bet there's some poor soul missing out on some ribbon wire somewhere  Nice bonus anyway :)

It does look nice and chunky that mod Cody, plus it has an evod connector by the looks of it. I've got my vape stand now mate. It's not bad for the price. But I think I'm gonna modify mine a bit. As Lisa said, the mods only slide in about an inh or so, so if you've got a top heavy set-up in there, it's likely to fall over if you bang the stand at all. I'm thinking of getting some longer wooden dowels and gluing them in instead of the plastic legs. It will raise the overall height of the stand, but should make it a bit more sturdy

========================================

In other news, I'm on late shifts for the next 3 days :( hate doing lates.

My JJ order has just arrived, so it's gone straight into my vape cupboard for a week. That's really quick delivery :)

I've done my final orders for this year. I've been trying to order the Russian 91 for weeks now. I finally found out today, that everywhere is out of stock, but I have found a place that's taking pre-orders - viper vape. Their due back in around the 16th of this month, so I've pre-ordered 2 of them. Plus I've put in an Amazon order for a butane coil torch (for my wicks), a magnifier set-up (similar to the one Lisa has) and a nurses fob watch (for the Wife for chrimbo). So that's me done for this year, no more spending, probably :p

I had 2 holiday days for Thanksgiving but I work 9 hour days, so I was having to take 2 vacation hours to make up for the shorted holiday hours :/ Instead, I came in early today since my electricity is out - they are replacing poles in my area. The boss gave me a bit of a tuft about coming in 2 hours early LOL Really!?!?!?!?! We have people leaving early all week because they got credited two EXTRA days for holiday as those were their normal DAYS OFF and I have to waste vacation?!?!?! Nah, not having any of that :/ She gave up trying to explain... seriously, I interviewed her for her first job close to 15 years ago... she's a bit off if she thinks that's policy =]

Regardless, Tommy's taken the week off as suggested by his doctor and now he's run off to his GFs and taken my Emmy. I work late on Friday to cover for finals and Emmy would be waiting to have her piddle until after 2AM, so he's taken her with him to save me grief. It'll be odd in an apartment with no one there and no fluff-ball expecting a walk at 7AM and 9PM! Well, I hope he takes care of her properly and she enjoys her little vacation away from home =]

I've not seen anything interesting from FastTech... I suppose I'm in a good place right now with vape gear =] I have some great toppers, great APVs and mech, great juices and more juices steeping. Not to mention, even more gear coming in the mail LOL I keep looking at the Kayfun, but I am not sure that I need it... I've got these coming in... what more could I need? Do I need a Kayfun of some sort? Is it better?
