Excellent news Bob, glad you got it sorted out. When I drill my airholes, I use a good set of mole grips. Wrap insulation tape around the topper, so the mole grips don't mark it. Then I do the drilling outside, with the topper resting between two flagstones. You don't need the mole grips very tight, because the two flagstones help stop the topper from moving. As long as you've got a sharp drillbit, preferably a diamond tipped one, it only takes a second or two to do. In fact, I drilled out the airhole in a kayfun base using this method, took 5 seconds maximum. Just wear gloves in case the drill slips.

I've got one of those, have to use it to undo the iClears when I first buy them, innokin seem to enjoy tightening them up real hard.
Don't think I'd trust myself to doing it your way, I've always been quite useless at DIY  haven't got any diamond tips, only titanium, will they do?

I was actually thinking of digging out my last mini Vivi Nova (the rest were given away to needy people) and trying a microcoil/cotton wool set-up.

??

Hmm. More coiling obsession. :)

It's a trip down memory lane for me. Novas were the first coils I rebuilt. When I moved on to re-coiling them with cotton, the difference was amazing. But I could literally see the juice going down as I vaped it

Titanium tips should work fine too, as long as their nice and sharp. I was a bit dubious the first time I tried it, but the metal on most toppers is fairly thin - so it's pretty easy really. I do love tinering with stuff though. If I can take something apart, fiddle with it and get it to work better I'm a happy bunny :D washing machines, car engines, the more complicated the better

Well I'm really sorry Terry and Ron, couldn't get to the PO today.

Mixed up the juices this morning all ready to package up then got side-tracked with a minor family emergency. All sorted out now, but by then it was too late to get to the PO.

Sorry about that. I've got a full 8 days in work now, so it will be a while before I can get things posted :(

recieved my brass astro today, so far im liking it alot. Just hope that plating doesnt chip off fast.

they have been doing good with shipping lately, last few orders coming in around 10-12 days

It's a shame their not as quick to the UK.

I've had my mixed brass Astro for a few months now and the plating is holding up just great. As long as you don't throw it down the stairs, it should last a while

I know the feeling it is hard to find a good tobacco
Yep i have been on that quest over 18 months now, but the one i mentioned earlier is supposed to be REALLY good. the best i have found to date is fortuna strike from LT, i am vaping it right now and it`s not bad at all.

I will pop it in Ian, it`s just to much of a dry vape for me. It`s like you can feel your throat drying out, but you may like it.

It's a great price for the mod. If I remember right, I used my rebate points for mine - so it only cost me $7 - absolute bargain :D

 Congratulations Ron

It's a great achievement, well done mate. If you really want to express your gratitude though, money works well :laugh:

Seriously though, you're doing great Ron. As long as you're feeling better in yourself that's all that matters. Forget the money saved (or not), your health is the most important thing :D
