There's actually two different types for my car, so I ordered the more popular one, presuming it would be ok. I was wrong. Trust my car to be the awkward one. It would have been a real pain to check the connector before hand, so it's my fault really.

The pump was only six quid, so it's nothing major, just the time factor fitting it. I'll order the right one next week probably.

can you just exchange it mate ?

Well it's been a long day today.
Hope everyone else had a better day than me.

Well I know your feelings. Had to put up a 10 x 20 canopy over the spa today. Would not have been so bad had I had some help. Once I got to top frame together and tarp on, I had to lift it 6 feet to put the legs in (8 of them). Took everything I could do to lift one side, then hold it over my head with one hand and put the legs in. Then the other side was even harder. 2 People would have made it so much easier. I am tired and sore now, tomorrow morning will be Much Worse. Us old men can't handle things like we used to.

Think I'll drink another beer. :toast:

I was vaping the cappucinno from vapology last night, and i just coudn`t remember what the taste reminded me of. Then today it came back to me.

My mothers favourite chocolates used to be black magic, and i always liked the coffee ones. Ha Ha, that is it exactly the same taste. :D

MMMmmmm black magic, I used to love those chocolates, especially the coffee ones. You know what mate, you're spot on with the description. Soft centres are the best, can't be doing with all that chewing

I could do, but it came by courier with the window regulator. I'd have to pay return postage, cos it's my mistake. So it would probably cost me more than six quid to send it back by the courier. The guy I bought it from does massive volumes of parcels, so he'll get a cheaper rate. I'll just chalk it up to experience and find the right one before I order next time.

There's not many that do a coffee flavoured chocolate now, I always used to save those and the strawberry ones til last, cos they were my favourites.

I'm gonna have a bath now and get to bed.

See you all tomorrow.

That's good to hear! I ordered a small bottle on Friday!
Black Magic were always a favourite of mine too ...loved them including the marzipan, strawberry, orange and especially the coffee!
The smell when opening the box was terrific!

I just searched to see if they were still around and they are, but of those I just mentioned, there's only the orange still there. I'll bet it doesn't taste the same as it did. There's raspberry in current boxes though.
Can't say I'd go out of my way to get a box of them as they are now.

Hi pictor you will love it, and i am betting you soon get a bigger bottle :) just remember to give it a really good steep for the best results. I left mine for about 10 days.

Terry's right, you'll soon be buying it in bulk, it's lovely stuff.

One thing you will find though, it's a bit of a coil gunker. It's a thick dark liquid, so you will end up having to clean coils a bit more often, but it's worth it for the taste :D

Hi Terry and Trouble

Hi pictor you will love it, and i am betting you soon get a bigger bottle :) just remember to give it a really good steep for the best results. I left mine for about 10 days.

Sounds good! Always hard to leave them when they arrive though! :) Is it worth just a little taste when it arrives? ...please....

Sounding better by the minute ...I do love coffee flavour!
'Coil Gunker'? ....ok, so how do I clean a coil?

I'm suspecting I encountered my first such liquid this past week: got CV Jamaican Ginger and love it - pale gold in the bottle, deep rich colour once in use! Been using it since it came, and already ordered a bigger bottle. But, I've used two small clearomisers that developed poor function and then a rather nasty taste ..is this what you mean by 'gunked up'?

I expect it's not possible to clean disposable clearomisers past rinsing the whole thing in warm water - I tend to use them with anything new or something I only use now and then, but once something is a favourite, I use it in an Evod.

I'd recommend leaving it for a few days, Vapology always make their juices fresh. So if you try it on day one it will probably taste chemically. Just leave it in a dark cupboard with the cap off for a week or so. Give it an occasional shake, put the cap on first though  It's a good idea to squeeze the air out of the top of the bottle too sometimes and replace it with fresh air - that way the juice steeps and ages properly, so you'll get the full flavour when you try it. You can smell the juice every day though, if you feel your missing out on vaping it

After a while coils tend to get a build up of old juice that needs cleaning off - similar to the way elements in a kettle can get deposits on them. Some people just put in a fresh coil, others clean and dry burn the coils and use them again, while others re-build the coils with new wire and wicking material. The poor function and nasty taste normal mean your coil needs looking at/replacing. Evods are better cos you can just change the coil head and rinse out the tank.

You'll find that the darker thicker juices tend to mean more frequent coil changes.

Welcome to our little corner of the forum by the way. We're all on first name terms here if you want to join in and chat. You already know Terry, but there's also Ron, Burnie and Lisa, plus a few others that pop by. My name's Ian if you were wondering :D

OK - thanks Ian.
I have been reading your 'corner' :) I'm Trisha.

I suppose I'll just have to be patient when the Cappuccino etc (Very Berry Cool and Black Forest Gateau too) arrives. As you say, sniff it ...doubt it'll be a good substitute though.
Nice that the CV Jamaican Ginger was so usable right away! It certainly made me smile.
I got both their coffee ones too and I mix them together - nice, and the best I've tried so far. Remains to be seen with the new one though ..does sound promising.

Not one for fiddling around with things - I like 'plug and play' ...so re-building etc. isn't for me I'm afraid. I do blot the coil when re-filling the tank but haven't even had to replace an Evod one ...yet.
It's likely I will replace coils, but may try rinsing one to see how I get on ..dry burning: is that when it's dry after rinsing, press the button a few times but have no liquid in the tank? Knowing me, I'll probably go up in a puff of smoke! (been one of those days).
Is a bottom coil just as likely to gunk up as a top one with the long wicks?

I've seen some clearomisers described as wickless but it must be still there, just hidden, and I'm not sure if they'd fit my smaller batteries (8081D's and eSmart).
Seems there's a lot of variation in things that I haven't quite grasped yet.

Certainly try a bit of it trish if you can`t wait lol, i have to admit i dripped a bit of it in my trident (couldn`t wait) :D And as Ian said it was a bit chemically in taste.

EDIT: If you are more plug and play trish, you could always try a dct ( dual coil cartomizer tank ) That way you could get a tank i think they are 3 ml and 5 ml in size, and when the carto gunks up you change it out for a fresh one.

I know cody has got a couple and he likes them a lot. Also consider getting a mechanical mod to truely get the best out of vaping.:D

Hi Trisha,
I'm sure you'll love the cappuccino, it's a lovely juice. Not tried the Very Berry Cool, but I have had the Black Forest - to be honest it wasn't really for me that one. Tasted more like a cherry liquor to me, but you never know, everyone has different tastes. I would recommend the Pear/blackberry and honey drizzle plus the tailor made section. I've had different mixes of banana, strawberry, chocolate, caramel and honey from them - they all taste great.

The Jamaican Ginger was probably pre-mixed when you ordered it, so it didn't need ageing. But some juices take longer for all the flavours to fully mix together, tobacco juices normally take longer than fruit type juices.

With dry burning, you basically take the tank apart, screw the coil head onto your battery and push the button for a few seconds at a time. This heats up the coil and burns the gunk off the coil. Sometimes you can blow the crud off the coil, other times it needs a gentle brush with an old toothbrush. Rinse everything again, re-assemble and vape away. You can only do a dry burn with coil heads that have silica wicks though. Just means your coil heads last longer. If you do a search on google for "dry burning coil heads" there's plenty of videos out there - really easy to do :D

Bottom coils can gunk up just as easily as top coil designs, it's mainly down to the juice you use.

I'm not really familiar with 8081D's sorry, so can't really help much there. But if you stick around here you'll soon be recoiling heads and vaping on big mechanical mods

Any questions we'll always help out if we can. We're a friendly bunch really, even Terry :p:laugh:

Yep Cody does rave about his carto tanks. I'm going to be putting a micro coil in his Kayfun lite this week though, so when he gets it back, he might decide he enjoys the Kayfun more ;)

My Bad, I forgot to mention Cody in my other post, sorry Cody. He's a regular here too :D

Thanks for the vote of confidence Ron :D

To be honest that sounds like most of the buses I drive, hardly ever get a perfect one
But there's no acceleration with our buses, so we don't need the ABS cos we never go fast enough to use it ;)

At least you're home and can relax now anyway mate. Good advice about the coil heads too. I've still got Vivi Nova heads from over a year ago when I first started vaping

Cody kindly sent me some of his excess juice to try. So I told him I'd sort out the KFL for him if he put it in the package. I'm gonna open up the base, check the airflow is right, pop in a micro coil and send some of my cotton pads back with it. It's a shame to think of that poor Kayfun sat on a shelf unloved :( I really want Cody to see what he's missing out on with the cotton club :D
