Damn, I'm a stereotype, rebuildable mods and a penchant for fantasy / sci-fi reading.

Got any book recommendations?

Carl

Haha, i think we all fit the bill on here! As for recommendations i have loads, but I'll just give one, which is mainly sci-fi but kind of crosses over with fantasy: Dan Simmons - Hyperion Cantos (It's 4 books, but the first one is the best)

Who do you like reading?

Nah mate, I'd probably spill nic solution on my legs if I did  Plus the skirt only comes out on Saturday when I transform into Irene

Possibly a DNS issue, maybe log out, clear cookies and log back in again.

It's good to know that everyone on here doesn't mind my cross dressing tendencies

No pics mate, you'd probably sell them to the Daily Mail

I told you Terry's a bad influence, he makes me buy stuff too :p

If you don't want to spend any more, I'll just say one thing, look for "Otto Carter Chi You"

Wa haaaaa leave me alone you.:D

Oh, dont worry, ive already checked out Otto Carters beautifully engraved mods... i love the look of the steampunk one. However, my vape budget does not and never will stretch anything like that far!

Lottery win, it would have to be. I'd love an Otto Carter, Chinese dragon on one side, cobra on the other - it would match the tattoo I've got on my upper arm then :D

Yep i found them ALL the same ian, but at least you will be able to jazz em up a bit.

Well the Trimto was better with the second round of dripping, but the Aphrodite's Affair I've just had is 100% better. I think the Trimto needs some more blackcurrant adding.

We're all geeks here Carl

If you're a Lord of the Rings fan, you'll fit in well here. The Game of Thrones series are gonna be the next lot of books I'll get for the e-reader.

I'll try that - it's working slightly better now, but just froze up on me twice!

I'm sat here waiting for a photo of the kilt :pop:

Sorry mate, here have a tissue
It's these new pills, their making me nasty (well that's my excuse anyway ;))

Quite a collection already there Carl. I used to love rewicking the Novas with cotton, their what really got me into vaping at the start.

Did you order the Kayfun from fasttech too mate ?? I've got one of those on order from there at the moment.

The Vari is a great piece of kit, superb vape and very consistent. But it does go through batteries a lot quicker than any other mod I've got. If you fancy a decent VV/VW mod, I'd recommend the Vamo too, bit cheaper than the Vari, but functions just as well. But if you do get a Vari, you can join the secret Provari club ;)

Nasty knickers :p

Yeah, done the Hyperion Cantos agree with your assessment.

I'm currently reading the 'March Upcountry' series by David Weber and John Ringo. Nowhere near as highbrow as Simmons but good fun military scifi.

Love Neal Asher and Alistair Reynolds for uber tech stuff, David Eddings or Terry Pratchett for fantasy.

I am a geek :)

If i was to go down the sub-ohm, cloud chasing route, i think one of these would be a nice addition. 26650 hybrid thats 38mm wide, its a bit of a beast, but the flavour / clouds it produces must be fantastic.

dreadnought | Vineyard Vapes

(go on ian, you can tell us all what its like and tempt me into getting one :p)

It will only be as good as the topper you put on it cody.

Ian

Bought the Kayfun on eBay, probably cost more than fasttech but got here quicker :)

Is it the version 2 Carl ??

The one from FT hasn't even shipped yet, I'll probably get it for Xmas though

Sorry Terry, I'll behave I promise :D

Just mention something about baths terry, that'll be sure to sort him out :p

Someone mention baths. I love a good bath, did you know that

Neal Asher is on my list... I've read a few of Alistair Reynolds and really like them along with Peter Hamilton and Iain M Banks for sci-fi, although i love some of the writers from a bit furhrt back like Robert A Heinlein, Arthur C Clarke, James Blish, Larry Niven & Jack Vance (alastor by Jack Vance is probably my favourite book of all time)

For fantasy Robin Hobb is my favourite although i have enjoyed loads of others and currently reading a lot of Raymond E Feist, but Ben Aaronovitch 'PC Peter Grant' novels are brilliant for a bit of light fantasy reading and funny too.

It will only be as good as the topper you put on it cody.

I think its a hybrid so the whole thing is all one device - the battery mod and the topper, you cant use any other topper on it. I dont really know much about hybrids but i think the idea behind them is that there is even less voltage drop because there are no connections so you get more of the power and a smoother delivery direct to your coil.

As to 'Lord of the Rings' loved the book, went to see the first movie at the cinema, spectacular visuals but just too long and drawn out, I was nodding off towards the end. Didn't bother with any of the others.

Tolkien has the dubious honour of writing one of only two books that I have failed to finish, The Sylmarillion.

Yeah he might p*ss off for one

I think the site must be having a few problems this evening, my 'like' options keep disappearing and its on a go-slow too. Perhaps its a sign i should bugger off to bed!
