Oy you two, stop picking on my mate Terry, that's my job :laugh:

Terry, I posted the parcel off today for you mate.

Trisha, Robert West was one of the people interviewed on the news coverage I saw. He had nothing but positive things to say about vaping. It seems more and more Scientists are now coming round to vaping as more positive analysis comes forward. It's a lot better than the lies and rubbish that so called "experts" have been spouting in the past.

Ron, have you ordered any 18350's for the Vamos yet mate ??

----------------------------------

Well that's my lot for today. Did a 12 hour shift today and got a 13.5 hour shift tomorrow - I need some spending money for my hols

So it will be a quick visit tomorrow too.

Thanks Ian i appreciate it mate, And thanks for sticking up for me in my abscence :p I reckon ron has just blown his chance of getting some freebie tobacco juices.

Ah, I saw him on TV a couple of weeks ago, but not yesterday.
He's a really nice chap. I told him how there were likely far more people who have actually stopped smoking than is suggested - me being just one of very many, and undoubtedly more people using e-cigs than is recorded.
He definitely is very positive about the effectiveness of them and their usefulness in helping people not smoke. He's writing another book that will be published here and in the US.
Professor West is on our side! Yay! :thumb:

Something that really makes my cross is the fact that governments past and present have allowed tobacco companies to put all manner of poison into cigarettes, including substances to keep people hooked, whilst all the time they nagged and made smokers miserable about stopping smoking. Had they stopped the tobacco companies adulterating tobacco, they may have had a better response from the public.
So, to say they want to take control of e-cigs is downright hypocritical - and if they do that, they'll be shooting themselves in the foot! ...not to mention putting the lives at risk of those people who may go back to smoking because of any restrictions.

I just checked both them products trish, The evod battery is only one digit different from the turtle soup e-liquid, and the spinner is only one digit diferent than the birds nest soup e-liquid. Hope you like chinese soup.

Ah, so Glasshopper ...liking the turtle and birds nest soup liquids! Bit stinky, and there's bugs in that birds nest! But never mind, at least they got here!

Seriously, they did arrive today, and all is well.

I got a reply from them about the error on the first order - they say they'll check with the warehouse and get back to me but to remind them after 24 hours! ....what? - sounds a bit odd. Thank goodness it wasn't something really expensive!

Oh my!  ....priceless!

:D Eee we have fun trish don`t we. Went shopping earlier with the wife and my youngest son, Mainly for new clothes for our jollies. I am always surprised at just how many miserable folks there are knocking about, They walk around like they are carrying the bloody world on there shoulders.

It costs nothing to smile and be nice does it ? In fact i have lived in this house for 23 years now, and my next door neighbour (him) is just like that, I have never seen him with a true smile on his face, or laughing having fun. Needless to say, i don`t bother with him any more i just got tired of his pis*y attitude to life. (miserable git)

Yes, we do have fun ...we happy band!

My husband walks our bigger dog every morning and he's always been surprised at how many miserable people there are ..he'll often smile or say good morning, and they just walk on.
Only two weeks ago, I picked something up in the supermarket and was amazed at the price of it ..made a remark along those lines to the chap browsing next to me, and he totally blanked me! It made me cross and I felt like saying something like 'Hell, did I grow horns or something?' ...but thought better of it ..after giving him a Paddington Bear stare! ;)

Most of our neighbours are out at work every day and are out and about most weekends, but they're all pleasant. In fact we avoid one chap who lives nearby because he's a darn pest! Younger than us, but not married, no girlfriend, no nothing apart from his job, so he's a bit too needy! Couldn't seem to get the fact that I actually work at home and cannot cope with people constantly coming to natter whenever they feel like it! Grr! In his case I had to break with my usual peaceful self and get firm with him!

True, some people do have the weight of the world on their shoulders, but for the most part, people seem to have insulated themselves and become morose. They lost the plot (if they ever had it!) when it comes to smiling and considering their fellow human beings!

Never mind, there's still some pleasant people around! :) ....I'll get back to my birds nest liquid ...still picking bugs out of it! :)

To the chap who mentioned the adulteration of tobacco then yes - putting ammonia in to make crack nicotine is not likely to fill the consumer with confidence. Over time it is likely to make him buy more cigarettes, however...

But the good news is that we have had excellent coverage for e-cigs in the UK media this week - to the extent that the HYS thread on the BBC website has been very positive. Most posters have marked down the antz and marked up the vapers. Hurrah! :)

In the North it's often called "letting on" - you acknowledge people with a nod, a smile or a "Good Morning". The stone-faced people who blank everyone must already be living in their own personal hell imho - either that or trying to be "hard", which is a bit like saying that your personal ambition is to live in Forest Bank or Strangeways ("Manchester Prison" now, apparently).

All part of the flavour the bugs trish. :D

When i was a child, me and my three brothers always used to laugh at grandma, on my mum`s side. Although we had very very little, we had fun.

Grandma would say things to my mum like, Margaret, "if all babies are beautiful how come there are so many ugly folk walking about"

Funny thing about it was, she was serious. One liners like that used to really crack us up.

It was me that mentioned the wicked additives in tobacco: 'chapess' I certainly smoked more over time too!

This seen on tonight's Press Preview isn't something I wanted to see reported though:
France to ban electronic cigarettes from all public places and subject them to the same tight rules as tobacco | Mail Online
It's an article in tomorrows paper.

It seemed to arrive/increase along with the people who hog space in supermarkets and on the roads ..aggressively protecting their own space and glowering at anyone threatening to invade it! There's a few generations now of these unpleasant people, and sadly, they're breeding more generations of the same!
Thankfully, not everyone is the same, so we can only hope that the situation reverses and people become more considerate again - just don't hold your breath! :)

Ah right - so I leave the bugs in to fry on the coil? Cool! ;) :p

My grandmother on my mothers side was funny in exactly the same way too! We hadn't much back then either, but yes, we found time to laugh :)
She did have a point about those ugly people though! :2cool:
My other grandmother was Scottish, and a sweet, pleasant little old lady - not funny in that way, but totally lovely.

Well this is my one quick check in for today, so make the most of it folks :D

All the miserable people are probably either current or past bus drivers, we're always miserable

Hopefully I'll have a bit more time on here tomorrow, only doing a normal 9 hour duty for a change.

And yes Terry, I do know Strangeways well, I drive past it every time I do the 59 bus route :p

Night all.

Hi, everyone, back from my jaunt to the Baltics, weather was YUCH..ended up having to buy a hooded fleece to keep me warm, Hotel was excellent, food was a bit bland, too much pork as per usual with ex Eastern Bloc countries, okay though if you like rabbit food, didn't take many photos but will try and get them uploaded to tinypic in the next few days

I'm assuming the PO restrictions are for batteries coming in by Air, hope my 18350s make it through from AW, they are coming by sea, and will be at least another 6 weeks before they arrive.

Noticed that about the Vamo, I have the v3 and v5 - on the v3 the middle section comes apart (2 x 18350 tubes), but I can only get the bottom tube off on my v5.
Just had a quick look to see what's new on FT and I notice they have a 4nine and a brass/gold Astro now, which might go in my next basket, anything else I missed whilst away :)
