Ah! but at least F1 is normally on on Saturday/Sunday afternoons which doesn't really clash with anything, it's the sports that they put on in the evening Prime Time that causes problems, especially with soap fans, also the money they have to spend on showing these has caused a downturn in decent programs being produced.
I've seen all manner of scheduled evening programmes overridden by live sport in the past.
There's some I like to stop working and watch, and those I like to listen to mostly with the occasional glance - Eastenders being one! :) Having to stay on the channel to hear when it'll be shown is an even bigger pain!
Saturday and Sunday afternoons are traditionally sports biased during the day, and it's no problem for most people who don't watch sport.
I used to watch F1 but got bored with it ...Martin Brundle's constant prattling didn't help!

I go to see football BUT only at a local level, my team Dulwich Hamlet are in the Ryman Premier League (about 7th division in mainstream terms), one of our players has just been snapped up by 1st Division Peterborough.
Never been to anything like that. I do know going to a football match has become far more costly than it was. Dad's with a couple of youngsters will need far more cash than they used to.

I see a theme there "Art", when I used to shirk (read work) I used to do a lot of reading sitting in my guards office and go through a book in a few days, but now that I have retired I seem to have given up, now takes a month or more to read a book, a couple of pages before I go to sleep.
Yes, the art theme ..but when I got the first book, I hadn't realised that ..only served to make it more interesting! It's only a small part of most of the books though. Some have the Vatican as a backdrop, others places like Venice, Paris, London etc.
I've been getting so tired lately, I rarely get more than a few pages read before I start to drop off. Sometimes though, I can read for half an hour or more. No matter, it's still a whole different world to dive into and empty my mind of anything else!
I'm currently 'in the Kremlin and Moscow' with a book :)

The bigger the practice the worse they seem to get, mine seems to have had a high turnover of other doctors recently, I hate to think what will happen when the 2 originals retire, the statin I take is Atorvastatin, I had my doctor swap me to that one because you can take it at anytime of the day, which was handy when I worked shifts, because it meant I could take all my meds just before leaving home to go to work, nowadays I normally take them all together at about 10:00
Yes, bigger practices seem to be cropping up more and more, and they don't feel as 'user friendly'.
My husband was given statins by the sister and developed pins & needles in his arm and neck, so they were stopped right away and a note made that he couldn't take them. The stupid doctor though he knew better and gave him a different one: he then got aching joints, weak muscles and wasn't sleeping soundly at all. He began losing the sharp edge to his mind too. He got a stiff neck and came out in a rash. Of the list of possible side effects, he had at least 3/4 of them. The doctor gave him yet another, same thing. Then when he went about the sore on his head and was told it would be frozen off at a later date, but what about his BP and some statins ...I got really annoyed and flushed the statins.
A search will easily produce lots of evidence that not all people can take them ...millions can, thousands can't. Some of the effects, if left long enough will not reverse. At the time, I read of two cases where someone had been taken into a care home as cognitive issues worsened, only to have a relative work out the onset of the condition and have the statins ceased. I can honestly say that my husband never regained that sharpness completely. Thankfully, his weak muscles and aching joints did recover.
It troubles me that many of the side effects can easily be put down to general ageing, and the sister did say she tries to look out for such things, but not all are as dedicated as she is.
We aren't all made the same, far from it, and as such they cannot assume to treat everyone in the same way.
I'll quite happily say no to any medication that I don't want, but he didn't when the doctor pressurised him. I think now though, he may be a lot firmer over such things.
Some people set doctors on pedestals and miss the fact that like the rest of us, they can all have feet of clay!

You chaps are really so very kind! So nice to see such thoughtfulness.

I'll ask our son about the books - I have a feeling he may just have them as he does read a lot, and loved Lord of The Rings ...just can't remember if he had DVD or books ...or both!

Thank you so much for such a kind thought ...I'll let you know :)

It really is no problem at all trish, and you are welcome to my offer if your son doesn`t have them any more. Plus it will give me a bit more room for vaping gear.

Well today i put a new micro coil in one of my russians and stuffed some rayon through ( cheers Ian ) Filled up with the posset from chefs and the flavour and vapour is really, really intense. The throat hit as well, with it being lemon posset is amazing with the 1.3 ohm coil.

Also i needed to clean and dry burn the rocket, which has got a nano coil in, so i thought what the heck, and after about 30 minutes of trying to thread the rayon wick i managed to do it. Ian, honestly mate, ignore what you have read or heard about not using the rayon with a nano, bloody hell it puts the micro coil to shame.

Though i can smog the room up with the russian, i can smog the whole house up with the rocket :D So it is my intention to run all my atties empty now and do the lot of them with a nano and wonder wick. Well done mate, that was a cracking find. :headbang:

The old coil heads are worth dismantling, it gives you an idea of how they work. Just hold the tube in the pliers and give the coil base a bit of a twist, the tube should come off easy enough.
I pulled the tube off and all I could see was a fairly tangled mess of little fibres laid loose on top of what I assume is the coil. I touched it with the tip of a painting knife and it just flipped out easily ... like a miniature rats nest! I stuffed it back in & put the tube back on

It really is no problem at all trish, and you are welcome to my offer if your son doesn`t have them any more. Plus it will give me a bit more room for vaping gear.
Ah right ...so what you really want is a bit more shelf space!. ...seriously though, thank you. I'll see son on Monday and ask him! :)

You like it! I like how it's fresh yet creamy at the same time. Do you detect a very light taste of something like angelica or perhaps aniseed? ...herby/spicy? Whatever it is, it's nice!
I've ordered a 30ml bottle of it already ...definitely one I can use often!

I got my 30ml bottles of Zero nicotine Confusion and ABC today! I'll use them with some of the higher nicotine ones I have to dilute that, plus I'll dilute some of my .6 to see how I get on with something a little lower!
I may add a bit of them to some that cause me problems to see if dilution helps with that!

Yes it is very refreshing trish, and like you say has a nice creaminess to it. There is definitely more to it, but i can`t put my finger on what it is though.:)

Well there's either a cold draught in here, or I just got cold chill goose bumps run down my shins! Gosh, The power of the written word.

I see it's Gandalf.

Oh there's loads of great quotes Trisha, here's another :

“Many that live deserve death.
And some that die deserve life.
Can you give it to them?
Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement.
For even the very wise cannot see all ends”

Must admit I wasn't impressed with the BBC when they cut the F1 budget and started showing more "highlights programmes" - ended up spending the extra money, upgrading to Sky HD for the F1 channel. Now I can watch about 7 hours of F1 each race weekend :D

You want to watch the new F1 season Trisha, it's superb now. Really close racing, loads of overtaking, plenty of strategy coming into play. Plus Lewis Hamilton is doing really well, that's another bonus for me  In fact on the Sky F1 you can get rid of Martin's commentary altogether and choose a different sound track, or choose in car views, the pit lane - loads of different options, it's fully interactive :D

Well I'm glad you're enjoying it mate, it's a really saturated vape isn't it :D

To be honest, I recommended the micro coils cos I do my first set up with a nano and it was superb, but with a micro it was even better. You can bang more power through the micro too without burning.

Anyway, if you do need some more rayon, give us a yell mate, I've got miles of it left

I'm gonna be doing dual nano coils in a Kayfun at some point - I know dual micros won't fit. Plus the RSST, Kraken and Aqua will all get the rayon treatment.

Glad you like it mate.

I pulled the tube off and all I could see was a fairly tangled mess of little fibres laid loose on top of what I assume is the coil. I touched it with the tip of a painting knife and it just flipped out easily ... like a miniature rats nest! I stuffed it back in & put the tube back on

The tangled birds nest will be the flavour wicks ;) They do need to be sat on top of the coil to do their job properly.

Tell you what Trisha, once you've got a few old coil heads together, send them to me and I'll re-coil them with cotton if you like.

I've tried googling this and cannot find the answer, so here's a puzzle for you. which company produces a mech mod that has a "No Smoking" logo on the bottom switch button?

No idea mate. I've just spent the last 5 minutes looking through images of mod switches and none of them have a no smoking logo. Sorry can't help on that one.

Very profound! Must admit, it's something I've considered before - easy to say off the cuff, but could we do it? ..no, not me.

To be honest, I think that boat sailed for me ..not really interested any more.
I work every day and my TV in here is Freeview. There's usually more than enough for me to find something to watch ...except this time of year!
I don't always actually 'watch' ...mostly listen and take a look around my easel now and then - or as right now, look over my shoulder!

So they should look like a tangled up nest? Ha-ha ..and there was me wondering how the heck I was supposed to tidy them up!
Are you sure you don't mind doing some coils for me? If you really don't, then yes, I'll send some to you ...got 15 of them rattling about in an old ashtray! :) I was going to ask if anyone wanted them.

This hasn't been my week for coils - had another one die on me today: the one that came in the Unitank I got. Hadn't used it much yet, so didn't expect that one to fail ..and it was half full of Frappacino!

You sound just like my Wife, she'll be sat there knitting away and watching the TV at the same time - I struggle just doing one thing at once

There's loads of great quotes in Tolkien as well as poetry and songs. Normally, I'm not one for that type of thing (I loathe Karaoke), but some of the verses are really inspired.

I've been an F1 fan for years now, I even booked my wedding for after 4pm so I could watch the Belgium GP first. It was a really wet race and there was a huge crash at the beginning, the race got stopped for half an hour, so I missed the end of the race - had to get to the church on time  First thing I did after the ceremony, was find out the result. Damon Hill won that day, which made the wedding day extra special

Just get the coil heads together and send them off for me, might be a while before I get round to them, but I'll do them, no problem. Just pop your return address in with them and your preferred coil resistance you'd like :D I'll send you a PM with my address.

Course you have mate, miles of the stuff.

Mind you it's probably best if I do use cotton or silica for the heads. With the issues that Trisha has with some juices, Rayon might make things worse, with it being such an intense vape.

This is my cue to extoll the virtues of those with multi-tasking abilities ...sadly, I don't always manage to give full attention to both!

There's loads of great quotes in Tolkien as well as poetry and songs. Normally, I'm not one for that type of thing (I loathe Karaoke), but some of the verses are really inspired.
As long as it's not all Olde English type language ...had enough of that with Shakespeare!
I've read some very inspiring quotes, and have even saved quite a lot of them on a document file :)

Our sons like the F1 still, but I don't think they'd go to those lengths to see it!
It was during the couple of years that Hill seriously pursued, and won the championship that I watched it. I really liked his attitude, and Murray Walker was a great commentator.
My TV was recently renewed. Was supposed to be my Christmas present, but when I asked one sons opinion of it, he thought it great and said how much he'd like the 42" version ...guess what we bought them for Christmas! No way was I spending more on TV's so waited a while. Apparently it's a smart TV! Huh! who wants a clever clogs TV!

No hurry at all - I have quite a few to hand for now. I'll bet yours last better though! It's kind of you, so just when you feel like it and have time :)

I wouldn't have thought of that, but you're very right! I've realised I've been worse since I got the MVP's and the Protanks & Unitanks! Collectively, they deliver far more, and it's very likely to have contributed to me being far more wheezy than need be!
So yes, keep it simple

Nice of Terry to think of it and suggest that though :)

Hmm, well you could do a mixture Ian, ie rayon with a silica flavour wick or vice versa. or cotton with a silica wick or vice versa. you get the pictor, i mean picture  A bit of mixing and matching, Thats what i would do anyways, see what works best for our Trisha. :)

No idea mate. I've just spent the last 5 minutes looking through images of mod switches and none of them have a no smoking logo. Sorry can't help on that one.

I've got one, it was advertised by Mechmode as Vapetech GUS clone, well it's definitely NOT a GUS because their logo is a crown and mine looks nothing like a GUS, Vapetech Shenzen don't do it, from their website, but I traced it down to being made by Yeahsmo Shenzen, if you scroll down you can see the logo, I suppose it could be their own logo, but clones tend to clone the originals logo as well, and i would really like to know what it is a clone of, it's not a bad mod either.
