The first week is always the hardest, trying new things, seeing what does what, and trying to get rid of the bloatware,
Hah! got rid of the bloatware right enough ....got a Nokia 625 Windows phone!
That android one wouldn't even let me into my email without first showing me a full screen ad that I needed to close first! Right pain!

I went back to EE, asked them to show me the sim from the android working in a Nokia 625 and I'd buy it ...he did that and then registered the Nokia number to the android (...it's still thinking about activating.)
So, now I have my original phone number on the Nokia along with all my credit!

All working fine and I've been sending some texts to other son abroad this afternoon. Only took me a short while to set up the Wi-Fi, email and sort the little tiles out. C'est bon! :)

Anything? ...I've heard nothing :(

I escalated the dispute yesterday lunch time with Paypal, told them everything that had happened and that I had the emails etc to back it up if they need them, they acknowledged the escalation and it said they would contact me if needed, so far nothing else.

EDIT: Just looked on Paypal and this is the last bit of info:
The seller has been asked to respond by 19 Jul 2014. Once we receive the information, we'll continue our review of this case.

So looks like just over a week before I get any further info.

I canna say, ma kin were all from around Greenock.

Just hope I manage to get my hands on one, the wood and brass look very nice.

That really amazes me about the cat, there is an unwritten rule that when you take a cat to an unknown place e.g: if you move house, then you shouldn't let them out for the first couple of weeks to allow them to get the scent of the new place, cats have been known to run off and maybe turn up weeks later at their old address if it is close by.

So you speaka da lingo Bob

There's some really nice options for the mod, hard to nail down a choice.

This cat is more like a dog, she tends to stay very close to the house at my Step-daughter's. Wasn't too worried about her wandering cos my Step-daughter only lives a 5 minute walk away, so the cat should be fairly easy to find.

 I was busy typing out the above message, and trying to watch the end of the WC2014 hoping that the Clogs beat the Argies, like we did in the Falklands.

Ahh I see, football got in the way of the forum

In Paris I was very glad to be able to rake up enough French to know how to converse on a fairly basic level because they love it if people at least try, and will help when people are at a loss for the right word/phrase ...don't even try though and they'll be far less helpful.

I've found with technology that I'll learn how to do something or make something work if I a/need it, and b/am interested in it - has to be both though :)
The husband of a family member was/is a website builder, and back in 2000, agreed to build me a website ....showed me a draught of the home page and one other and it was awful! Bright blue with lime green text for a start. Obviously clever with code, not with design. After a few more false starts, I downloaded a WYSIWYG site builder and spent 80 hours building a site. It was an OK one too and I still have the same basic site although it has been 'modernised' a couple of times. With recent changes in resolutions and web pages, it doesn't look so good on all screens or in all browsers now, so does need either replacing or some radical overhaul. Beyond me I think. I'll need to be in the right mind-set to start tinkering around with it again.

Have you got a lottery ticket? ...you may be on a winning streak!

Aw! Sorry Ian - been working as it's been grossly neglected this past week!

I worked in Paris for a few months, helped to fit some of the air-con systems at Euro Disney just before it opened. I'll be honest, it wasn't my favourite place. But we did spend most of our free time around Pigalle (the red light district ) Found a lot of the people there to be quite ignorant - think they were all ex bus drivers

The website I had with the business was a WYSIWYG one. But it was pretty customisable, must have spent at least a hundred hours just setting it up to start with :D

My winning streak is a bit fickle to be honest, I lost a fiver today :(

It's ok, I know work comes first, before play time

Better still Terry, Ian could get a new Vamo :laugh:

You're getting as nasty as Terry

 Good find bob, i love it mate.

You can feed it the dead mice then

Just ordered a couple of tips off ebay. Tried some of the FT ones and the quality is a bit hit and miss, for the copper and brass ones. So decided to order a couple from here :

SHORTY BIG BORE 510 DRIP TIP ST034 BY SIGNATURE TIPS HIGH QUALITY BRASS ST/STEEL | eBay

Went for the shorty wide bore ones. He's got some pretty good ones fro what I can see. Ordered at 5.30pm, dispatch confirmation came through at 7.30pm - that's what I call a quick turn around :D

It's amazing stuff isn't it Ron. Do you feel that you're getting a denser sort of wetter vape on rayon. That's the feeling I get. Along with loads of gurgling and popping - that to me shows how well it wicks :D

Try upping the voltage too Ron, it can take a lot more power than cotton.

Glad you're liking it mate. If it's done right, the wick should last 10 times as long as cotton.

I do get a lot of gurgling and popping I thought I was using it wrong at first but the flavour is amazing I can now vape the flavours that I stopped vaping because they had gone bland like JJ pinacolada I stopped vaping it as I couldn't taste it and its amazing again

Nah mate, loads of noise means you've done it right :) I've been finding the same thing, some of the AIV juices that are pretty mild really seem to pop on rayon.

cranked up the voltage and had a tear in my eye blooming lovely I now have a new love its amazing Trish you are in for a treat makes you feel 20 years younger

I've got the Vamo, SVD and Provari all cranked up to maximum. Can't wait now for my 2 new drippers to come - should take things to the next level :D

Glad you`re not talking to YOURSELF again Ian.

Was starting to feel a bit lonely mate  At least people on other threads were replying, even if you lot weren't :p

Footie Shmootie

I've got the Vamo on 15 watts, same with the SVD. Provari on 6 volts. I find I just take a few hits and put it down for a while, don't need to chain vape so juices should last a lot longer :D

I think Ian has fell out with me burnie, either that, or he is taliking to his new mates on different threads. :p

Don't worry, I'm still here, can't get rid of me that easy

Started a thread about the "magic twisted ribbon" so I've been popping on there as well as a few other threads. But this is my favourite

and it looks like it's paying me back, my computer problems just got worse, noticed the webcam wasn't working and a whistle coming from the speakers on the monitor, turns out it looks like my onboard sound chip has died, wonder how much that will cost to get fixed.
