When I do a new sample mix, I always start off small. Your base mix will store for a few months when mixed up.
I want a no-brainer really, so, if I get 9ml of VG and add 1ml/17 drops of the nicotine (whichever is least), what is 15% flavouring on top of that ? (I'm not trying to make a 10ml bottle, but a basic 10ml with flavouring added on top to simplify it.)
Sounds dim I know, but Percentages and mls. sounds a bit confusing to me and I only want to try this one thing for now.

I'm thinking to keep it very simple to start with, and I do like the ready made concentrates that don't involve mixing of flavours etc., which advise 15-20%. If I start with 15%, it'll be easy to add a couple of drops more gradually until I get what I want if 15% isn't enough.

I'd rather try something with simple quantities for now, and 10ml seems a good size to add things to.
I have a ready made concentrate for Vanilla Ice Cream which is what I want to do first.
Trish if i have done the calculations right, 40 drops of flavouring will give you 20%, so adding 30 drops should give you 15 %

Does anyone know which 18650 VTC4 is a button top on fastech?
Thanks Burnie! I've saved the linkI use this
eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator
Does the math for you. Just fill in the blanks on what you want and click calculate, and it tells you how much of what to mix. Hope that helps.
That sounds easy to adjust up or down ...thank youTrish if i have done the calculations right, 40 drops of flavouring will give you 20%, so adding 30 drops should give you 15 %

It's this one from CV: PHARMACEUTICAL GRADE UK SOURCEDWhat stength nic is it again trish ?
Ah well, you knew what I meant!Well, I didn't want to say anything but you already get percentages and mg mixed up 0.6mg instead of 6mg 0.6 is the percentage, quickly goes and hides under the bed![]()
No need to hide! Thanks Burnie! I've saved the link

Units of 10 are simple and I'm less likely to get it wrong!
It's this one from CV: PHARMACEUTICAL GRADE UK SOURCED
72MG (7.2%) VEGETABLE GLYCERINE NICOTINE.
You worked out that 17 drops or 1ml would give me the 0.6mg strength.
Ah well, you knew what I meant! No need to hide!
Thanks! That keeps it simple and easy to keep right. Not after n'th degree accuracy but just wan to keep it safe and best likely to succeed!Yep you got it trish, 9 ml of vg base, 1 ml or 17 drops of nic to give you 6 mg, then 30 drops of your flavouring to give you 15 %.![]()
Yes, dentist most likely to sort that out! If it's not an obviously bad tooth, it could be an abscess or an infection perhaps in your gum.Just wish i could get rid of this bloody toothache, had it about a week now and i am struggling eating with it. Trip to the dentist beckons i think.![]()

Have you got any Beechams Powders? If so, add one to a little water and swill it around the tooth then hold it for a little while before swallowing it all. Then an hour or so later, follow with something like 2 Anadin ultra capsules (or other Ibuprofen), or two Paracetamol. See if that helps for now.

Ian - know you were looking for a bigger RDA recently, just found this on POTV

Ouch, sounds painful mate. Pretty sure the Wife gave me some Clove oil to use last time I had toothache, but I'm not 100%, so probably best to google it first.
Gotta go now anyway, but i will be on again later, ( After footie ) IAN. I wouldn't have thought Beechams powders would make you sleepy as they're pretty mild stuff, but you know your limitations with such thingsThanks Trish, i have been taking ibuprofen and they are helping. It just seems to flare up now and then which makes me think it could be a bit of infection. I have got some beechams, so i will give that a go before i go to bed tonight, otherwise i will be nodding off.![]()
Hey, whatever floats your boat Ian!Looks like I've been beaten to the reply again
Terry, Bob and Burnie seem to have got it all covered for you Trisha. Sorry I wasn't around, I've been playing with my D-Eagle![]()
...not a problem - I know that a few of you know what you're talking about with such things I used to work from around 11am through to perhaps 12 to 12.30 midnight. But, when my husband retired 8 years go, I started and finished work later in the day due to there being far more interruptions around. That worked OK until earlier this year when I found it harder to concentrate in the same way, so am getting less work completed.
Seems a coincidence that it's only been since I stopped smoking. What I'm wondering is, was there something in my cigarettes apart from nicotine that aided concentration?

It is mate, It is. I actually read that last night about using clove oil, I will put it on my list, along side my tins of soup.Gotta go now anyway, but i will be on again later, ( After footie ) IAN.

Ian is quite right about clove oil for toothache, and it's an old remedy ...just doesn't taste brilliant! Can make the surrounding gum sore if not used carefully.

I just wanted a very simple method for now!

I've had trouble concentrating on my work for some months now and keep falling asleep at my easel ...more often than not without any warning and will drop off with brush poised mid way between palette and canvas! I even fall head first onto the easel or painting sometimes.
I know I work very late, and often don't get my full quota of sleep, but I coped quite well with it until recent months. I think perhaps I've overdone trying to work later and later to catch up.
