That order I had with FT that was returned to China - FT reckon it was rejected by HMRC and has cost me $11.44 shipping because of it - don't know why, 'twas only the following:
$29.66 Element Style Mechanical Mod (Full Set) - 18650/18500/18350 / stainless steel / black plated at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$63.46 KSD 7W-30W Varaible Wattage Mod - 1*18650 / stainless steel + chromed brass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Don't think I'll be ordering much from them in future

That it weird. Not like there was a battery or anything in it? Maybe due to the value FT write on the package and some incorrect tax or something

Just a quick Hi tonight, been doing some overtime today and I'm on an early tomorrow.

Adam, thanks for trying the POM theory out for me.

Bob, does seem strange that you've had the hassle. As Adam said, it might just have been flagged up at customs - which is unusual.

Trisha, the new DIY guru  Hope the WTA works out ok for you.

Terry, have you done your dripper yet ??

----------------------------------------

My last FT order should have shipped today, but 2 of the screwdrivers are still waiting to come back in stock, ETA is 2 days, so not long to go now.

My new Reo should be here tomorrow or Friday - latest tracking update, shows it's cleared UK customs :D

Had to go for an MRI scan at 9am this morning (before work) over at Salford Royal. Their hoping to find out what causes my trapped nerve in the leg. Only just made it to work on time at 10.30. Got to wait 10 days now, to see if the scan shows anything apart from my boxer shorts  Got an appointment with Neurology next month too, so might finally get this thing sorted out.

------------------------------------------------

Well that's my news for today, so I'd better get to bed, up at 4.30am.

So hello and goodnight everyone

Although he did it the same way as the original, it looks as though he failed in that it wasn't as good
True ..and he wasn't totally sure on the material inside it.

Useless video - you couldn't really tell what he was doing or saying or what he used as a wicking material
I skimmed through and re-started it half way ..looked pretty unwatchable.

Could be it's a matter of practice and getting the material right ...could be they're not that easy to rebuild. I wouldn't know

I am the same as you trish, i used to love them little aniseed ball sweets when i was a kid, but i am not sure i would like to vape that flavour.:)
Well I'll let you know what it's like! :) I only tried it because it's CV and theirs is usually very good. We used to have a jam when I was small: Rhubarb and Ginger, and if I remember rightly, it had a bit of a lemon edge to it.

Keep meaning to ask Bob - how did you know it had been returned? I see when it's been shipped and then when it arrives in the UK, but that's about all it shows me.

I use ALL-IN-ONE PACKAGE TRACKING to track everything that has a tracking number, a very useful site, you can even track a few private couriers as well, for that package it showed it leaving Canton Airport, then a few days later it showed as being back at Guangzhou sorting office (which is where it goes before it normally leaves Canton).

Hardly! just dabblin ;) - Yes, I hope the WTA works too - cost enough! I am still awake and not dropping off while working, so we'll see!

I'm always quite amazed about the 10 day wait ..seems a long time when it's there in front of them. I mean, on casualty they always know what it is right away ;) Seriously though, it is a fairly long wait, but if it ultimately gets sorted, it'll be worth it.

Heck! I was just drifting off to sleep at that time this morning! Considering I was then up at 10am, I suppose it's rather surprising that I'm still awake now!
Nite Ian! :)

Thanks Bob! I just tried it for a FT package sent on 30th and not showing as in this country yet - theirs shows the same.

Sent on the 30th - obviously not via China post then, otherwise you should have received it by now

EDIT: unless it was one of the items that got sent back - mine left CANton on 30th then back at Guangzhou on 03/08 - did you click on the details on the far right to see everything that is known about the shipment.

It was the second choice down and had 'recommended' next to it: Recorded air mail - takes 5-20 days (I believe) It usually costs a small amount under $1.
The first option was up to 30 days, and the ones below I can't remember, but were either 30 days or longer.
Below those, was a list of not currently available ones, and China post was one of them.

It's 4 packs coils costing $30, so not anything too costly to attract unwanted attention.

But surely HMRC would have contacted me on the Phone number that is on the front of the label, or would have confiscated it - not sent it back to China, it really is weird - never had that happen before, and I've had orders that contained more value than that one.

The recommended one is Singapore Post and doesn't cost anything extra, the one that is $1 extra is Swiss post and is to be avoided at all cost, worse than Singapore Post, as I said if you click on "Other Options" you can then select China Post, I think it is quoted as something like 12-16 days, but a lot of things get here within 8 to 14 days using that option. I think most people are using China Post at the moment.

I just made a massive order with FT. I used USPS to ship it and my packages will arrive tomorrow or the day after. They were only accepted 5 days ago in China!!! I'm extremely impressed.

I ordered 2 mods, 5 attys, 12 drip tips, an ohm tester, lanyard, case, etc all for under $200. A 26 item order is still less expensive than a single authentic mod.

Unfortunately those of us on 'tother side of the pond don't get the option of paying to use a faster service

That's a bummer. The USPS shipping was actually free. What's the average shipping time on an order to the UK?

depends on the shipper, China Post is about 8-14 days, Singapore Post 3 weeks to 2 months and for an extra $1 you can have the efficient Swiss Post and wait a bit longer

Suppose it's possible someone accidentally sent it in the wrong direction?

Gotcha, you are ordering less than $20 worth of goods so having to pay for the postage, the one to pick is the arrowed one, same price as the recommended one but usually quicker.

Great! Thanks Bob :)

Without going through the motions of placing a copy of the $30 order that was sent on 30th July, I can't look to see what was offered, but I may have just gone for the Reccommended option anyway.
Think it was a similar thing with the two that took 18 days.

I'm assuming that the order sent 30th and the one that was sent on 5th will both likely take around 18 days each.
