I'm not either, but this doesn't remind me of it (long time back though) at all. It's roasted peanuts, butter and cookies in that order, and I keep wanting to go back to it. It's only in a miniPT2 on a Spinner ll at around 3.7v. I set it at around 4 at first but had to turn it down as it tasted a bit 'off'.
I can't use it for all day because it makes me wheeze ..not sure if it's the butter flavouring or the extra PG perhaps ...not much extra PG though as it's a 0mg max VG mixed with 25-33% with the 50/50 new version at 18mg.

If that's the NT PBC that you are talking about, I have it in a carto at the moment, and is one of my favourites, butter cookie with roasted peanuts is what I taste as well, rather than a cookie with peanut butter

I would guess the former trish, after all if people can rebuild their coils they are losing money. Lets hope that better wicking material works for you. :toast:

Agree with you there, Terry, one of the reasons I am slowly trying different things now, KFL still going strong on a single coil at the moment so is the new Pontus tank rda, and I've got the rest of my RDAs coiled and wicked ready to go, still using up the NatureVape cotton before I get on to the rayon though. The jewellers loupe makes a hell of a difference being able to see what I'm doing.

Absolutely! Just hoping FT get the BVC ones soon!

Yes, I'm hoping so! :)

It is indeed, the very same! Lovely isn't it! Glad you get the same taste ...I really like it! :2cool: Pity I can't use it all the time!

Did I mention that new battery I saw on the Kanger site? It's just at the top of their home page: SHENZHEN KANGER TECHNOLOGY CO.,LTD
UKecigstore say it's 'coming soon'.

I got some of them magnifying specs from fasttech ages ago bob. What a load of crap  I ended up just splitting them into single eye pieces, so i can just use them for close inspection, but no good at all for building with.

I have to say that i do like the look of them desktop magnifiers though, the big glass with the light.

Don't think it's quite an ADV type, but an every day vape (EDV)

Not sure if you did, is that the IPOW - I would wait until someone else stocks it, UKECS normally charges more than any of the others

I got mine off eBay from the USA and the only thing I don't like about them is that you have to keep tightening them otherwise the eyepiece drops down, but find them really good for most of the building job, especially getting the wire into those tiny post holes.

As for the the big one, got mine from Coopers of Stortford - I'll sell it to you mate  - absolutely useless, might end up putting it next to the bed for reading books

Yes, probably. I can only use it for a short while as it makes me wheeze quite quickly.

Probably - it's the only other site I could see them even mentioned.

:offtopic: There are some idiots out there, and how NOT to build your coils, this vid is a bit long but worth watching

What an out and out T*T he was. He is just asking to blow his bleeding face off. First he ignores a battery venting, then he ignores the spring collapsing, he has to have a bloody towel wrapped arond the mod because the battery is getting mad hot, and last of all he throws a venting battery in a plastic bin which is full of paper.

He deserves all he gets, and he will get it.

I've got my Vamo at max wattage with the rayon, it really can handle twice the power cotton can. As long as the rayon is wicking properly, pump up that power Adam

Went to Cornwall a couple of times on family holidays, St. Newlyn East, if I remember right. There was a tree there that grew out of the church wall, supposedly cursed that if anyone tried chopping it down they'd meet a grizzly end. My Dad wanted to take a picture of us under it, my Mum wouldn't let us anywhere near it, in case we damaged it

-------------------

Bed time for me now anyway. Enjoy your hols mate :D

Cheers, I have a friend who lived in St Newlyn East and I know it well. The fig tree is still growing out of the church as far as I am aware.

I have had holidays in both torquay and newquay many moons ago, it reaaly is a lovely part of the world adam, have a nice time mate. As you say, better to wait till tomorrow before going any higher with the watts, as you will be getting a big nic hit before bed, not a good idea.

But i would just crank it up a bit at a time, till you get to the spot you like best.:) I only use mechs, and ian worked it out for me that i vape at around 12.6 watts, and it`s pretty good indeedy.:p

Cheers, and yeah I was hoping to use some of my DIY juice with low or zero nic for in the evenings. Tried the amaretto one yesterday and tasted pretty similar to the drink, but I think it needs more steeping. I'll leave them all til I'm back now I think.

We loved Cornwall - did Dorset, Devon, Cornwall on a holiday in 1966 with two friends. Favourite place was Mevagissey, so we went back there for our honeymoon the next year!
Then we took our sons there in the mid 70's.

Mevagissey is a nice place, one of many old fashioned fishing villages.

Looking forward to 10 days without work!

I saw this the other day. Even some of the popular youtube channels like pbusardo and grimmgreen had commented on it. It has received pretty universal condemnation in the comments. Just stupid. The fact he has to use a towel to hold his mod (presumably because it gets hot) should be a warning sign to anyone. In his reply he just doesn't seem to care about battery safety at all.

He states:

" The batteries I use are fully capable of delivering the pulse wattage in real life although on paper it states otherwise. For example vaping at
0.05 with a battery producing 4.2 volts would give me 84 amps. 84 amps is above the max amperage my sony 26650 battery can handle. On paper it is stated as 50amp max however in real life it is able to deliver with the downside being that the battery life is reduced."

So according to him it's fine even though he nearly blew his head off.

The thing that struck me as well (and afterwards noticed that people had commented saying this) is that he isn't even getting decent clouds from it. :vapor:

may be fairly quiet - really ill since morning vertigo can't even move my eyes much

Ooooh! hope it goes away quickly, also thought I'd let you know my FT package just arrived, ordered 08/08 (stock expected in 5 days) shipped 13/08 departed Beijing 18/08 and arrived 20/08 brilliant.

I now have a dilemma because remember that order which got sent back to China because according to FT customs had refused it entry and which FT refunded all but $11.44 shipping costs, well it also just arrived, should I be honest and tell them, anyone got a daisy...

Yes, like it, use it for a few puffs daily along with the other 19 that I have on the go at the moment, it still has the carto in it that it came installed with, also good for when I'm out and about, as I only have to carry a spare battery, presume the AMG hybrid atty is the other one that came with it when I bought it, if so haven't got round to using it yet, but will do when the carto eventually fails, I bought the Camo casing from a company over here to go with it as well.

I tried the carto when I first got a Vmod and to be honest we didn't get along very well. I only use the AMG attys now. Had too much leaking with the carto, I like to over-squonk the Vmod and the carto didn't like it

Why ? you thinking of going into hiding bob.

Plenty of room under the bed for another body then Terry ??

Even for me being a sole trader/self employed, it's fatal to work out how much I earn per hour.
My materials are the best there is in paint, mediums, brushes, linen, varnish, framing, and even the art carrier I use.
All adds up, and then the tax man wants 1/4 of it and the accountant costs me around £650 each year ..they do my tax return for me though, so I'm grateful because they always get it absolutely right.
Each painting can take 60-80 hours depending on size and content, so working out my hourly wage isn't something I'm even going to think about!

Go on Trisha, I dare you to do the calculation, you might be pleasantly surprised ;) For the first couple of years I had an Accountant do my tax returns and charge me £1200 per year for the privilege. Soon learned how to do that job myself  The VAT used to take longer to do than the tax return - at least 5 hours per week. That's one thing I don't miss anymore, having to fill in the Simplex D book every week.

Am I right in thinking you can use NR-R-NR wires on virtually everything

Yes you can Bob. In fact some of the pre-made wicks that FT sell are NR/R/NR. But to be honest, unless you need long legs on the coil, it's pointless - just use normal Kanthal.

 no wanted the other one they do [Burel I think it was called], but it wasn't available, so took the Camo one, it has a very soft feel to it and looks quite nice as well.

I got a Jwrap for my Vmod mini. A custom design of the "One Ring" from the Lord of the Rings. Does make the Vmod easier to handle. Plus the standard coating on the Vmod shell cover doesn't last very long - so it's a good idea to get a wrap.

One word, begins with "D" and ends in "ickhead" :(

Thinking back, wasn't it St Newlyn that supposedly left an axe in the ground that grew into the tree, then the Church was built around the tree - the legend is something like that, if I remember right. I do remember the hotel we stayed at was just down the road from the Church - had a croquet lawn at the front and the bar stayed open as long as there were customers there which kept my Dad happy

Have a great time anyway Adam :D

I'd tell them Bob, I'm honest like that :p
