That's how my Dad & his family pronounced it. My Aunt Barbara and Uncle lived on the moor above the wool mill in Sowerby - such a dreadful smell from that mill as we passed.Yep we call them "twirlies" over hereMy sister lived in Sowerby Bridge for a while or as the locals call it "Soaby". It's a lovely place, I could quite easily live there myself. I used to go fishing there pretty regularly when my sister lived there, the local kids used to come and chat with me when I was there. But unlike the kids round here, these were well behaved, polite and respectful.
I used to love visiting there though.
Yes, I'm realising he's not just another maker/producer - more an artisan craftsman.Clark's a master mixer as far as I'm concerned. If my flavour extraction is half as good as his, I'll be twice as impressed![]()
I just wish he'd do a max VG version in them all! I've just tried three 18mg diluted at 15-20% with a max VG such as CB or the CV's Confusion, and while they're really good, I'd love to be able to use them on their own- particularly H1N1 at the moment, and also Frenilla for it's single plus mixing capabilities.
The Got Cookie (Oreo) is out tomorrow and I'll get an 18mg bottle again to dilute with something.
Your flavour extractions can't be bad! At least you know how to do them, and after all, he had to start somewhere!
Yes, shows a bit of thought for their customers. Those are good postage rates from CV![]()
Looking at the many sparsely patronised buses we have, I see no reason that they couldn't do that all the time here. I doubt we have many routes with full buses even at rush hour.Nice thing about living down here, it's only "twirly" on National Rail within the Zones, everything else we can use 24/7
I know when I used to spend a week in Wimbledon frequently, if I wanted the better fare price on the tube (and a more peaceful journey) I had to wait until 9.30am.
