Thanks trish, today is the best i have been for quite a few weeks now so fingers crossed. I am not 100% sure, but i think i may have picked a bug up when we were abroad, as all my problems started after we had been home for about a week.

Since i finished the anti-biotics, last friday, i have been on the imodium, for reasons i won`t spell out.
Yes, perhaps you did pick up a bug. Perhaps you also got an infection in your gum too ...whatever, glad you're feeling better. Hopefully your tum will settle down too ...did you get some probiotics? It'll help get things back to normal.

I was also looking at all the meds i have been taking apart from the ones mentioned. Co-Codamol...Ibuprofen...Asprin...And bloody cod liver oil. I sound like a pigging rattle  Seriously though, i am hoping that i am over it now whetever it was, but i am guessing some sort of viral infection.:( I know one thing though, i can`t remember being as poorly as i was for a long long time.
If you're pain free, ditch the co-codamol ..it's strong stuff. Aspirin could irritate your stomach too.

I quite like the PBC on it's own, have it in a carto in my small Gizmo
Yes, me too - I did only add a small amount of custard and a few drops of Frenilla, but I did like it. Main reason was, I tried the PBC last week when I was pretty nauseous with the vertigo and it almost put me off the stuff for good. Only way I could bring myself to use it again was to add those to it and it not only worked fine, it tastes good too :)
A favourite at the moment is H1N1 with Confusion. I get a sort of almond cream latte syrup taste :)

I hope you weren't mixing the Ibuprofen and Aspirin as they are not good together either.
I didn't now that about aspirin/co-codamol, but then, I'm no fan of aspirin apart from the odd Beechams Powder for sore throat or colds.

Co-Codamol is Codeine and Paracetamol together - codeine can knock you out - on the railway and Ian might back me up on this as it is probably the same for bus drivers, you had to come off-track if you took it as it could affect safety related jobs, as for Ibuprofen and Aspirin they are very similar and are both blood thinners so should not be taken together unless necessary, I have to take 75mg Aspirin every day because of my Angina, so for pain relief I am limited to Paracetamol if not prescribed something stronger.

You will find the PBC gets better the longer you leave it, like a lot of dark liquids, I've only recently gone back to it after leaving it since March

Burnie, going back to what you were saying about going below 7w and that you rarely vape above that, if you are using LR cartos in that setup with the StingrayX and IBTanked then you would be drawing 7.61w @ 3.7v, if you build less than 1.5ohm then you would be going higher still.

The stingray x is one of those times I go above 7w. 90% of the time of late I am using my Hybris, which goes from 3v to 6v. Most of my carto's are hitting around 2.2Ω, and in the morning I start at 3.2v and slowly go up during the day (at this moment am using a 2.1Ω carto with Hybris set at 3.3v), ending up at around 3.6 to 3.7v, which is still under 7w. If I was running duel coils, yes I would need more power to fire both coils, but I don't do duels often. COPD sucks, my lungs can't handle what I see a lot of people vaping volts/watts wise, and cloud chasing is out of the question.

We found Paramol used 4 hourly with Ibuprofen two hours later in-between doses the most effective with my husbands trapped spinal nerve last year - for some reason it worked better than the standard co-codamol.
Once the chiropractor managed to free it we lowered doses to two per day, then one and when the pain was almost gone, none.

The PBC I have is a 50ml of the first batch in zero max VG and a 30ml of 18mg from the new batch - I use 15-20% of the 18mg with the zero VG. No doubt the older bottle is well steeped. Don't think there's any left or I'd get some more :)

Just been looking at the Highbrow Vapors choices - looks like one or two nice ones such as a Vanilla Caramel cake & Dark Chocolate. I'm going to ask the person who recommended their cheesecake to go with the three NT fruit topping flavours if they've had any of the others.

Hey trish :) I am off the tablets completely now, as i am feeling a lot better. I didn`t mix them when i was taking them though. My regime was usually - co-codamol, followed 4 hours later with ibuprofen, and 4 hours later, one 75 mg asprin. This did the trick in giving me some pain relief.:)

I don`t like taking any tablets at any time, and i have to be really ill before i do, so i am glad to be getting over it now. As for pro-biotics, i have been drinking them actimel, and eating the activia yoghurt, Is that okay trish ?? will it replace what i have lost ??

Nice you don't need to take any now! :) We had to juggle around with various ones until we found what worked.

Neither of us are keen on pharmaceutical drugs either - just sometimes, we need them! I'm taking Serc 8mg four times a day at the moment. At least they've started to help!
I just looked at the Activia and Actimel - yes, they do have probiotics in them and will help.
I usually get a 3-4 week course of stronger capsules when I've had antibiotics, but they should work OK for you.

Okay great, thanks :) I filled one of my kayfuns with the MBV coffee earlier. I wasn`t too sure what to expect flavour wise, as it tasted a bit funky when i dripped with it. But i have to say it is very pleasant indeed, I have just had another blast of it and it will definitely go with my morning coffee. :D

Pleased to hear that your tablets are working as well trish, this forum is becoming to sound like a doctors surgery these days.

Oh! sorry didn't realise you had problems, although thinking about it, I suppose most of us ex-smokers have some sort of related problem, luckily so far my lungs seem to be working okay, just got to get the arteries fixed, not really a cloud chaser, prefer the flavour more than anything, but like to see a few clouds :)

Nice! So, is it similar to any other coffee we may have tried before? Sweet ...creamy ...rich...?
I haven't used much coffee lately - I've still got the Strix Espresso one to try. Bob said it's a bit strong, but I can put some whipped cream flavouring in it.
I'm told the Cappuccino Diablo from Highbrow Vapor is good too. ...their Caramel Cake sounds good!

Yes, I'm glad too - it was getting me down. A long way to go but at least I can move without falling over! So glad our son had some of the Serc tablets I'd had before.
To be honest, this 'surgery' could be better than some of our doctors these days! ...mine never did phone back so I'm thinking reception didn't pass it on!

I just ordered 100ml of Posset 0.3mg today! :) Been using a zero and .6 mixed 50/50 for a couple of weeks now and not noticed the difference.
I have 100ml of Mint Choc Vapetto with only around 20ml out of it so will order some zero soon to mix with that.
If I can get to zero it'll be amazing, but I'm not sure I'll stop even if I do.

The Coffee types that I prefer so far are Lew's Brew, MBV Caramel Coffee and MBV Morning Vape, I'm letting the MBV Coffee steep a bit longer as the first time I tried it I wasn't too keen. I also have a 30ml bottle that I made up of different cheap coffee ones from various sources which I was not overly keen on but mixed together are not too bad and are a permanent couple of vapes a day juice on my VTR in an iClear 30s.

I am not very good at describing flavours trish, but i would say it is a rich but mellow coffee vape and not bitter as some coffee`s can be. I am going to put another order in at MBV later, and i will get some of thier sweet cream, some more blue moo,( did i say how good it is } And maybe a couple of new ones to try, that way i can try the coffee and cream together, sounds nice that. :)

I agree with you about gp`s as well, last time i went i was in and out like a shot. All he did was look in my mouth give me a prescription and that was that. At the least i was expecting him to check in my ears for any infection, but he obviously didn`t have the time, or inclination to do that. :(

Sounds like you are building up some nice liquids there trish. I do like the posset, as well as the LMP from SG, but i think i will try the lemon bar from MB for a change, and to compare.:)

Evening you bunch of Demics

Ah! yes remember you mentioning about the screwdrivers, hope they weren't expensive ones, I would hate to lose mine that way, good german engineered ones.

They were only some cheap ones Bob, that I got in a cheap vaping tool set - they were magnetic though, which helped with some jobs.

I`m fine thanks ian, just nowt to report on. :) Spotless under the bed now bob. i got the wife to do it for me.

Glad to hear you're better now mate. It's not Ebola then :p:laugh:

Bad as my Missus, she takes that many pills, she's got a separate drawer in the kitchen for them

Yep we get random drug and alcohol tests at work. Plus you're right, we're supposed to inform them if we use anything stronger than a low dose paracetamol.

Got vapemail today :D

Won't have chance to play until Saturday though. Did some more overtime today (about 3 hours), plus I'm doing a days overtime tomorrow. I'll soon have my car insurance sorted - I need a rest  I'll be slowing down on the work again next week, the kids are back at school soon, I'll avoid doing the school buses at all costs

Bit quiet on here tonight, or does nobody want to chat

Ok, I get the message, I'll pop off to bed

In all seriousness, I will have to go - another long day tomorrow. So night all.

Night Ian, and I agree with you about the school runs, used to hate them on the trains, kids running riot through the coaches.

I like Lews Brew with 1/3 of the Caramel Cappuccino in it :) Would like a good flavoured coffee & cream one though!

It does sound nice! Remind me which of their coffee ones you got? ..Bob has mentioned two.
I do think you may have said something about the blue Moo ;)

Even going to see the doctor is nothing like it used to be! If ours can miss skin cancer that's staring him in the face for two years, then we have no hope!

Yes, gradually finding my favourites. Mint Choc Vapetto and Posset are everyday ones for me. I love the CV RY with Confusion, but it's seconded by the NT H1N1 with Confusion for the time being!
Just tried the Raz Cup today - like the H1N1 it's 18mg as it doesn't come in max VG so I have to put 20% in with something like Confusion ..it's great for mixing stuff like that because it has a pleasantly mild flavour! The Raz Cup is a good raspberry and I can taste it even at 20% - Got Cookie (Oreo) 18mg on the way and will have to be mixed the same too.

Just put another order in at MBV, all 18 mg 50/50 with two shots. Coffee...Lemon bar...Sweet cream... And oh yes, some more Blue moo.:D
Nice - be good to hear what the lemon one is like! ...and the coffee/cream! :)

EDIT And 30 ml of RY4 from SG, i was looking at the ry from MBV but it has got some terrible reviews, so pass on that. :)
Did you try the Long Shift yet?
