Aye and me in me lean to wi me baby. :toast:

Gets a bit chilly in winter though

Yep sent you some of the blue moo mate. Very flavoursome with only 1 shot, i shall soon be into my stock which is all 12 mg with 2 shots.

Thought so, I've used it up and thrown the bottle away. I did really enjoy it though, just hope it's not too much with 4 shots - I'll find out in a few days though :)

-----------------------------

I'd better pop off now and watch some TV. Recorded "The Strain" so I'll see what that's like.

Night all.

To be honest. I wasn't expecting much with the curry being so cheap, but it was bloody lovely. All 4 of us had starters, then shared 2 curries, rice, chips and poppadoms between us.

even though it looks like diarrhoea

That will be you tomorrow after the curry mate

That's a good idea Trisha, try the coils with juices you're familiar with. That's what I did when I first used rayon and cotton - the taste difference is unbelievable :)
Ok, I'll do that! :)

We've already got a decent sofa - Italian leather (it pinches your bum when you sit down and makes great pasta ). Seriously though, the one we've got is very comfy, only about 5 years old, so it's here for at least another 5 years yet.
Ours is Italian ..but it doesn't pinch bums nor make pasta! That's a smart sofa you have ...although I'm afraid I'd probably smack it one for the pinching!

Just had bhajis, samosas, pakoras, a prawn jalfrezi, chips, poppadoms and loads of dips - I'm stuffed. We even brought a few bits home with us. 30 quid for 4 of us, quite a bargain really :)
That sounds very nice! :)

Hi this is Tom again Ron still hasn't woken up yet but the Drs say they aren't concerned because he is breathing by himself and we just need to give him time but it is starting to freak me out and I don't know what to do

I have started using Rons battery things see I am not as advanced as you lot don't know what they are and they do hit a lot better than my ego so I will stick with them as they have stopped me going back on the fags

I have tried the Grants and I think I am in love with it but I have moved to the ABC as I don't want to use it all

But that is enough about me as I only came on to give you a report on Ron I just wish he would wake up so I would know what is going on
Hi Tom - always hard when you just want someone to wake up and be themselves again. If you haven't already done so, ask to speak to his consultant - he'd be likely to give you a full explanation and idea of what to expect.
If you have spoken to the consultant, then all you can do is wait and be there for him when he does wake up. He's likely going to be a bit disorientated with missing so much time. Will they ring you when he wakes?

As for the batteries & stuff, I'm sure Ian, Terry and Ron would be happy to discuss them with you ...be a diversion for you! :)

Ah the old dracula pose
I must have explained that pretty well - you got it! Made me go dizzy too and I've had a headache ever since! :( Never mind, got it done after a fashion!

The house isn`t really mine trish :p Maybe one day though `not`. It was just a quick photo i took when i went for a ride to dovestones earlier. Was just sat there having a drink and vape and thought it must be really lovely living up there looking down over the reservoir, and surrounded by the moors. How the other half live eh ? Pleased that you are getting somewhere with your photography as well. :)
Ah well, we've only your word for it ...lord of the manor sat 'at the bottom of his garden' surveying his ancestral pile!
Seriously, there are some beautiful places to see dotted through our countryside - but I wouldn't want the responsibility and upkeep costs for something like that!
I spend most of my life in here and it's 14x13' ;)

Thought it was your weekend cottage mate. Paid for with all the money you've saved by not smoking
Now there's a thought - pool all our saved cash and buy a stately home ..can turn it into a low occupancy nursing home just for us when we get old! ...yeah! what saved cash?! It hasn't been that much so far (8 months today!).
Still, I haven't spent as much in the past month because I have plenty of most of what I need, and a lot has been repeat top-ups.

The Wife is getting a new pair of wellies for her birthday. Who says I don't treat my women right
As long as she knows she's getting wellies, fine! :D (I just made a gaff of a typo then - fixed now!)

Me too. I'll have to stick with the garden shed as my second home :D
Well, as long as there's a couple of retrievers in front of the fireplace in there and candles in the candelabra, you'll be fine! :p

Aye and me in me lean to wi me baby. :toast:
Is the lean to similar to the three on the back of that little house you photographed?

While I was at Mum's, work rang me and asked if I could work tomorrow. I said you'd better ask the Wife, it's her birthday tomorrow. Silence on the other end of the phone for a while, then - it's ok I'll try someone else instead
That was the right answer Ian! :)
Picture this last year: husbands birthday and he goes on a classic car rally with a friend of his - nice! Our anniversary the next day, and he's promised to help that friend with an engine problem that day! I say nothing ...3.45pm, he rushes in, says hello and that he must dash up to Tesco! ...'what for?' I ask : 'a bunch of flowers for your anniversary'! Yep, it was 'my' anniversary! What did I say? ...'Forget it! if you couldn't be at home today and already have some flowers from other than Tesco, then I don't want to know!'.
He was very quiet for the rest of that day ......

If the Docs are not concerned, then it must be okay, so far so good, I know it's hard not to worry, but I'm sure he will come round once he's healed a bit more, my mate was out for nearly a month, but that was meningitis which may have been worse, as for using Ron's batteries, I'm sure he won't mind, just hope you have read up on battery safety though, as they are probably more powerful than eGos, if they need charging don't leave them on their own, or charging overnight.

What! - Nooooo! .....the auto spellcheck did!

Go on then i`ll believe you :p

So pretty similar then - nice! ;)

No not quite trisha. I have got a mate in the trade and he got all the materials for me at trade price, what should have cost around £700, actually corst me about £420, so i did ok there. :)

I live in a semi detatched, and we have a shed at the side of the house. As there is a 6 foot space between the house and shed, i have just built it there to utilize the space, and keep my bike etc in it. It is 14 ft long and 6 ft wide, and all made out of treated shiplap timber.:)

I thought it a good thing I read through before posting! You'd have had a field day with that! Could almost see the spellcheck monster sat there looking smug 'there! fixed that for ya!' - it obviously never heard of wellies! Well you know what - it never learns! got to change it again now!!! :?: I added it to the dictionary!

That's a good way of utilising the space!
We have a decent space on the road side of the house (on a corner) but daren't put a shed etc. there because there's no windows or doors on that side so easy access over the fence!
The space on the other side is good too, but we keep the bin there and it's paved for the dogs in wet weather. That way we can close the gate into the garden and they don't get muddy feet! :)

Yes nothing more important than being secure trish, and of course not having muddy paws all over your house. Then again you could get the dogs some willies.

Er yes, quite!
Some forums have a degree of spellcheck inbuilt too, and I think that depending on the browser version you're using, it's either operational or not.

Absolutely not! They're lovely young ladies! ...and there you see it - 'wellies' is a slang word, so spellcheck gets in a tizz and auto changes it!

Evening all.

Still waiting for the curry to pass through

Had a busy one today.

Fitted new wiper blades to the car and a new rear tail light bulb. Picked up some flowers for the Wife and made her breakfast in bed. Tidied up the house, then got my new phone set up. Took the Wife to get her new wellies - she got a lovely bright red pair. Came home and my Step Son had made afternoon tea - scones, cake and tea in the pot.

So it's been a lovely day for the Missus :)

My MBV order shipped within 2 hours of me ordering it - quite impressive that :D

Just adding ringtones to the phone now and having another play :D

Sunny Florida
WoW hard to catch up after being gone for a while.

Tom, Hope Ron is doing better, Prayers his way from across the pond. :nun:

Hi Burnie! Hope you have a good & pleasant break! :) See you when you get back!
It was a good break. :D Almost got ruined Friday night, Very Hard rain, flooded 4 of 9 rooms, ours was 1/4" from flooding, but didn't. Didn't catch any fish, but cought some good rays in the pool. :)

I would have thought Sunny Florida was one big Vacation anyway  but have a nice break away from it all.
We live in the center of the state, 2 hours to either coast, we went to the west coast (Gulf) this time, went to the east coast (Atlantic) in May. Always good to get away from the grind and relax, just not long enough.

Well back to my Lurking. :D

Sounds like a good day all round!
What happens when you type wellies? Until I added it to spellcheck it auto changed it because of course, wellies isn't a proper word!

I suddenly noticed it working on the Broadband forum last year after the computer company had been tinkering around with mine and upgraded it to IE11. Must have been an update with Windows or the actual browser.
I thought you'd have IE11 on your computer.
