Well at least you can now look forward to going home eventually, and get some kebabs down you  Not to mention a good old chippy as well. Seriously though it`s great that you have got your own space, and you can vape away to your hearts content...And, build some really good coils.:)

Same here Bob, even though I've got the double cupboard, my gear seems to migrate to other areas

Nice lock box, plenty of room for lippy and eyeliner too

Think I'll catch up on some TV myself now - I'm not tickling the Wife's belly though

I think that was the main purpose of the box, but it acts well for holding all my wicks, wires, rayon, tools etc

Come in handy them wardrobes don`t they bob  This is my building box View attachment 381051 Cool eh.:)

That's a neat one as well :)

I asked the Doctor how long I would be in here and he said they still have to find out why my body had shut down they said I was less than a hour away from a heart attack so they cannot risk sending me home and I will be in here at least 3 weeks. :(
But at least I am in the best place for now and yes Tom as been great and I have told him to register on here as he should have his own avatar and posts so I will keep on at him and with a bit of luck we will have a new member :)
At least when I get home I will have someone to windup

Sounds like you had a lucky escape then, plenty of bed rest for the next few weeks, should get you better, and all those vaping nurses to keep you company

looking forward to going to the chippy mate on the moors they cook in dripping none of this vegetable oil crap proper tasty chippy

Now that is artery clogging heart attack stuff, shame I can't have it anymore :( my arteries are all blocked and am waiting to hear what they propose to do next, might be a by-pass or knackers yard , I only use a minute amount of olive oil these days in my cooking.

Signing off now, so look after yourself

Just in time for you to test them! Hope they fit well and you're happy with them! :)

For anyone that's interested Phil Busardo has finally done a review of the eLeaf iStick, it's a bit long winded and he actually gives it a thumbs down BUT really likes it nonetheless.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_W1G7p_fCJw
I know he does good reviews, but I tend to get a bit impatient with him waffling ...I may skip through it later, but what's the gist of his likes and dislikes?

My blue iStick replacement arrived today! Very nice colour. I still think they should have done a proper rich red metallic instead of the magenta red, but they're still smart little things.
I've noticed that if they're recharged before they get to 'empty' they charge a lot faster ...I don't always remember to look in time though.

I am the same with some of the reviewers on you tube, they just bang on and on.instead of just picking a products good and bad points. I find grimm greens reviews slightly more pleasing, as he doesn`t go all around the houses IMO

Hiya ronnie, It`s so good to hear from you my friend. Really pleased that you are on the mend now :toast: If you are going to be in there for a while, maybe ian could send some rayon to your house, and have tom bring it to you.

I don't mind doing that Ron, if you need some rayon, just send me a PM with your address. Or I could send it to Tom's place if that's easier for him. Either way, if you need any, just shoot me a PM mate :D

Fantastically Ian thanks. Still need to change it a lot though, with the SD&C and the coffee and cream, but that is the price you pay for having a damn good vape or two.

Glad to hear it mate. So you've sussed out the density thing now then ??

Hadn't thought of that, most of the threads I have been reading keep talking about drilling the pin, can you do that with the adjustable screwed pins as well or will that destroy the threading (have heard talk of replacing screwed pins with ones that have a drill hole already made in them but haven't seen any)

Will the RM2 work on the LP ??

No Bob, you can only really do it with a solid centre pin, that's a pressed fit. If you grooved out a screwed pin, you'd probably damage the threads. A decent machine shop could probably do it, but not really worth the cost to be honest. You just need to make sure the groove extends all the way down the centre pin, including removing a section of the flat base at the bottom - so the juice has a clear path to reach the wicks. It's a lot easier than trying to drill a straight hole through the middle of the pin. The insulator holds the pin firmly in place once you've dremmelled a groove in it. The hardest part is removing the pressed fit pin in the first place

The RM2 I've got only works on the original Reo Grand, most of the newer Reos are all low profile, so you can use any standard BF attys. My Rm2 has a really deep 510 connection, so it wouldn't sit flush on the newer Reos, plus juice would leak around the sides of the 510 too. Hope that makes sense

Why not get Tom to bring you some in ;)

Parcel arrived safely Terry, thanks again mate for sending it :)

You even spelled my surname correctly, not many people do ;)

Looks like the drill will be out tomorrow. I'll get those Putins opened up and free flowing :blush: Had a quick sniff at the juices, but not had time to try them yet. Just spent the last 2 hours going through one my Stepson's job applications and correcting spelling mistakes. Totally wasted University education

That's the main reason I like Todd's reviews  Plus the accent.

Yes Ian all sorted with the rayon now, squeak squeak , the only juice that i wasn`t 100% sure of was the very berry, although it is nice, i found it had a sort of chemical after taste to it, but that may have steeped out now. :)

Earlier on, i tried something different ! My lava tube ( what my lad uses now ) well i put a kayfun on, the one with GVC in, set it @ 5.3 volts and had a few blasts. I gotta say, it was bloody good :D Normally i have that on my kicked chi, set at 12 watts ( max ) and the lava tube just blew it out of the water.
EDIT: Glad the parcel turned up mate, WHERE`S MINE

Glad your getting the squeak

Strange how sometimes playing around with the power can make such a big difference to a juice. I've found the same with NT Gravity, on the Vamo at 8 watts it's very good, but at 15 watts, it's amazing :)

Was hoping yours would arrive today too. I posted it first class too, bloody RM are useless sometimes - I could have delivered it on my bus quicker.

No worries mate, it will probably show up tomorrow. I even made the coils today, in anticipation  I don`t know about you mate, but even when kicked my chi just seems to be lacking :( Maybe it has got a big voltage drop

I hope it does too mate :)

Must admit I've not used my Chi for weeks now. It's sat in the vape cupboard with the Aios on top. Got tired of the Aios starting off great, then performance dropping off pretty quickly after an hour or so. Guess the only way to check for voltage drop, is with an in-line voltage tester. It could be that adding the kick, is giving extra voltage drop, more pieces in the circuit for the power to go through. I know the kick gives a constant wattage, but if the voltage drop is high, it's probably not getting enough juice from the battery in the first place - does that make sense ?? It's the only thing I can think of really - the more direct the battery current, the less the voltage drop.

He like everything except the 510 pin is not floating, and his main gripe was that the output is Mean not RMS which to most of us would mean that we have to vape at a slightly lower voltage/wattage than normal (almost all mods these days show RMS or the ability to switch between the two), I don't notice it with the MOW but probably would if I put a Kayfun on it with a lower resistance.

If the makers see his vid before they bring out v2 then those might get fixed in that
