I've sussed out the problem mate. The two coils I did yesterday were 0.9 and 1.4 ohms. Used the 0.9 ohm one with the coffee (bloody lovely) and the 1.4 ohm with the pina-colada. Just double checked the tank with the pina in it, the coil is now reading 0.8 ohms, so I must have knocked the tank and moved the coil. Probably explains why it's tasting a bit off

Went for 30ml of fluffy nuts, 30ml of QOP and10ml of green eyed monster (to try). I've asked them to go to maximum on the flavour percentages if possible

Gave the tank a flick and the coil is back at 1.4 ohms, tastes a lot better again Can't be bothered ripping it down, so I'll just keep flicking it ---------------------------------------

Some interesting ones there ian, If you like a really strong strawberry vape you will love the moo juice. I got 30 ml with just 2 shots and it is a really rich vape, and i mean rich.

$299 for vapor flask dna40 is too much for me. If the temperature control turns out to be as good as it sounds then I'd consider getting something like a vaporshark rdna 30 if they do one with a dna40. They look really good. Don't like the look of many box mods like the hana modz ones.
Considering getting a sigelei 100w if they sort out the copper pin issue that several reviewers have mentioned in future releases. Don't see the point in going over 100W personally at the moment though. There are 150W and even 250W devices on the horizon, seems a bit much.
Comparing these newer high power box mods to the builds I've done in my plume veil clone (~0.2ohms), on a mechanical, might get upto 80/90 wattsl BUT I haven't ever measured voltage drop so presumably they are actually a bit lower than that in practice. And those are too hot and dense for sustained vaping. I like to dig it out every few days to blow some big flavoursome clouds but generally prefer more around 0.4-0.6ohm builds which would be max 50W. The 0.2 ohm builds also go through juice in a click of the fingers and spit juice in your mouth a bit more I find.
I fired one the other day with the top cap off and the rayon was apparently too dry and caught fire. That was a bit alarming.
Just spotted a limited number of VTC5s were in stock on fasttech but by the time I got to checkout they were gone! drat.
I've come across Torchy before and would happily buy batteries from him with all the positive comments. Had a look on his ebay that you kindly linked the other day actually but the best I could see were the purple efest 2100 mah 30A ones that are meant to be rewrapped VTC4s.

In no specific order:
I wouldn't buy loose batteries from FT - don't trust them on those
Rayon is similar to cotton and yes will burn up in flames if you try to dry burn it
The lowest build I have is 0.3ohm 22g Kanthal built round a 3.5mm bar and rayon in a Caterpillar dripper on my SX350 dual parallel 18650 box mod made by Bish on UKV (think I put a picture up a while back, blue mod), but the most I go up to is 20w anything higher gets a bit too hot for me, I prefer a cooler vape, don't think I'll bother with anything higher than 50w for a mod, to be honest 30w is quite enough, but the DNA40 temp control is tempting (prefer the SX350 to the DNA30, I have 2 of each)
A cheap fairly good 30w one if you don't like boxes is the Kangside30

They have quite a bit that I like and can use fairly easily. I appreciate that they make anything in max VG for me and at any strength I ask for. Two of theirs are in use every day, plus the ABC & Confusion too because they have two of the NT ones mixed in with them. Started buying the Mint Choc Vapetto, Posset, Confusion & ABC 100ml at a time, and others 50ml, 30ml for newer ones.
From the lesser stuff I've had from other places, CV stand out for quality & service.
I'd probably use more of the NT ones if they all had a max VG option. It's a good style he uses and a lot of them intermix really well for interesting 'extra' flavours.

Gotta say i love it, dead easy to use. i didn`t even need to look at the instructions and had it up and running in a matter of seconds. This will now replace my chi you, cos of the slight problems it has been giving me.
