Hmm i was thinking the same
You all know what I do, so should have been able to work that one out

Well that makes it even better, good luck with the rest and the opening.
Thanks Bob - been the hardest year yet for getting it completed, and with the best will in the world, I was still around 5 short!
It's very fortunate to be offered a solo, and I've been given one every year since 2000. They have to trust me to do my best, just as I trust them to represent me at the best level. I just hope this year doesn't jeopardise another in 2016. I already have 2015 booked.

 next piccy has 2 nanas missing
I worked with a great gallery in Leeds for a few years, and she once asked me if I ever painted bananas...I just looked at her and asked 'would you?' - she just laughed and shook her head!

Whoops, it's out now, I just PMd him :(

I remember sending you the link to her work, when I first found out where it was, must still be in your inbox.
S'okay - I just don't like anything direct being in posts ;) Daft though it may sound, I like to just be myself here, but would prefer to retain a level of professionalism in my work.

Sleep is really important I agree. I remember hearing that we only need 4 hours sleep per night to stay healthy - maybe back when I was 18 that was true, but definitely not now  Hopefully it's a combination of many small things Trisha, we don't want you having a recurrence of hyperthyroidism either. Could be worrying about timelines for the paintings, stressing about flavours, worrying about not getting enough sleep and your breathing problems. Many smaller problems can creep up and catch you unawares as what seems to be one bigger issue - hope that makes sense.
Some people don't seem to need a lot of sleep, but most need 7-8 hours each night. There's lots of areas that need the regeneration time that sleep gives us, and we need to be able to sleep properly without our brain carrying on at 100mph. Proper meals and sleep all make us operate far better. I do know for certain that I am suffering from sleep depravation. I actually feel wide awake right now and only had just over 5 hours again last night.
You're right about all the things that trouble me - there seems to have been things causing problems or needing attention daily for a long time.
I do think that if I was thinking and moving around as fast as I did, I'd be a lot better - from around 6-8 weeks into not smoking, my concentration has been slowly worsening, and the smallest thing can distract me. Even when I know things need doing, I can be positively lethargic.
I do get more interruptions than I used to, and again, it's harder now to just get straight back to work after being disturbed - as a result, I've been trying to work later and later into the night, and miserably failing.
Throw 9 weeks of nauseating vertigo into the mix and it starts to look impossible.

I have to say, I can do without cigarettes with very little problem, but I would like the brain & focus back that I had before I stopped smoking ..and believe me, it's tempting when I feel my work isn't flowing in the way it was! I've always had every intention of working until I either fall off my perch or lose the use of hands or eyes! It's too precious to me, and not like a job that people retire from.
Oh well - perhaps plenty of sleep and some brain stimulating supplements will help! I'll see how things go in the coming weeks. I need to prepare work for spring occasions, and by next April I'll need to be working on the next solo!

A 3p rise in bacon, that's preposterous  I know what you mean though. Remember the uproar when petrol crept up to the pound a litre mark ?? Now it's a lot more, how soon we forget :)
Particularly in the 10-15 years preceding the onset of recession, I could see things spiralling ever up and out of control ..it just had to all implode at some point. Most people haven't felt a true recovery yet - I know my part of the market hasn't by a long way. Some do better than others, but generally, most galleries are doing far less business than they did. Things screeched to a halt virtually in early 2012 and haven't got back to where they were before that.
Before 2012, almost everything would have been sold by the time it opened!

Bob's let me in on the secret. I will say one word only :

WOW
:) thanks! Thought you'd seen it before - you asked for a link a while ago now.

Squonking is the new dripping, all the cool vapers know that Terry :p:laugh:
Truly cool people never follow the crowd! yes smilie.gif

I'm in on the secret - ner, ner, ner, ner, ner  I can be proper childish sometimes
Nuts the lot of you!

Yes i actually worked it out bob, and knowing that trish ikes to keep things a bit private didn`t take it any further. :)
Aw thanks! Have you seen it now?

I am well aware what it is mate, just don`t wanna do it !
You having a stampy foot moment?

Very similar to what i want bob, but want to add a couple of regulated to my collection, iv`e got enough mechs :) I may just consider getting a hana for now, to keep the mvp company.
Do you fancy one of the Eleaf iSticks Terry? They're very good.

 Sssshhh, don't spoil my fun Bob  Seriously though, I know Terry knew already, but he knew that he'd forgotten that he already knew about what we now know
As if my head isn't scrambled enough!

Nighty Nite Ian - still waiting to try mine (not going to give in to temptation )
It'll be fine to use now Bob. I used a small bottle and then started on a 30ml only to find I get a bad problem with blackcurrants. Took 2-3 days before I was breathing better again.
With the Lemon Coconut Cream Cake,I've used a small zero nicotine and a small .6mg mixed apart from around 2ml. ...got a nice 30ml bottle steeped for a week too!
I've used around 1/4 of my 50ml Doughnut too! :)
I've taken to that PMP! I found the mango a bit forward at first, but found I can add a small amount of either Strawberry Vapetto or ABC and it's great!

By the way Bob, have you noticed that the iLeaf seems to know when a coil is failing: it doesn't fire and comes up with 'no atomiser' - I've had it three times now and can put the same tank on a Spinner or MVP and it works for a little longer before completely conking out!

:) I finished mine pretty darn quick mate. :D
I do wish I could use it! :)

Whoops  Looks nice though :)
I see they are selling the hana over here for about 50 quids, big bloody difference at FT eh

Can't remember what I paid for mine and m-vapes who sold it to me are having problems at the moment with Paypal and their Bank and cannot sell anything online - not sure if it has anything to do with clones or vaping equipment in general - have heard that some modders are unable to get business accounts to sell their mods as well, could be the start of a crackdown, there has been quite some discussions going on about it in AAEC and POTV

So So true :D
Got to make your own style! ;)

No, not seen nowt trish, Stampy foot ? ME ? never :lol:
Well you should have now! :) ...only joking about the stampy foot ..just gave a really funny mental image: Terry angrily stamping his foot 'Idon't want to!' stomp smilie.gif

The iStick is rather good for the price, and it actually fits into the palm of your hand being so neat. Get two: one small easy portable one and one bigger! Enabling! ;)

Talking about PAYPAL ....got an email this morning that really did look like a PP email. It said that my payment (yearly subs to an art forum in Boston) had failed and I needed to use a different CC!
I didn't go through the email (never do) and logged into PP to check the transaction which I still have a copy of for my accounts - it was completed on June 4th!
I forwarded the email to spoof@paypal and got a reply very quickly - was indeed a phishing attempt!

We all know about these things, but that email was a very good copy!

iStick is fairly cheap and very small, so won't look good with a KFL+ on it (although it will power it no problem), IPV is nicer to use than the Hana, slightly slimmer, so again if you have OCD then the KFL+ will look too big for it (I use my Mini KF on mine), my Hana clone is the Cloupor Cana and is a pretty good mod, and of course can be got from FT for a lot less.

Have you looked in the classies either on here or in UKV - sometimes pick up a bargain

I would have done the exact same thing - I never trust those type of emails, a few years back I had a call from the Fraud section of Santander in Spain, I wouldn't give him any info, but asked for his phone number and I would call him back, checked with the bank, and luckily it was real, so I called him back on the 0800 number, someone had put a plate on a machine at waterloo and it had skimmed my card, and they were trying to buy stuff online with my number, luckily the bank spotted it and wouldn't pay, had to wait a week or so for a new card though.

Nope, not giving in to temptation, nothing free to put QOP in at the moment anyway

The way I vape it will be about 3 months before I see 'no atomiser'

Just looked at my Router Log, some twit has been trying all day to log into my WiFi - good job I have a decent password on it, bloomin' thieves.
I've noticed if I use my notebook, it searches around for available Wi-Fi and keeps checking availability for all it's logged onto my router - could it have been something like that trying to access yours?

Nope, not giving in to temptation, nothing free to put QOP in at the moment anyway
An iron will! :) It'll be all the more enjoyable!

The way I vape it will be about 3 months before I see 'no atomiser'
You don't use much? ..think I should try to use less - it may help with the congestion and wheezing I get!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Got the Eleaf iStick Black today. Smart in black :) It'll be put away as my 'spare'.

Got it along with a Kanger iPow 1600mah. Kanger IPOW 2 1600 Mah I ordered Blue and they sent black, and it's an ugly thing in black! So I phoned MyEpack and told them. Could have returned it but seeing theirs is only £19.99 (Around £24 plus elsewhere) it wasn't worth driving to a post office for!
I asked if they'd despatch a blue one today, and was there any discount ...no discount. I'd at least expected they'd send it post free. Costs me £1.95 postage!
At least they've despatched it.

The black one is a sort of satin finish with gunmetal coloured metal trim. I think it's quite ugly. The others are metallic colours (ss, red, blue, bronze)
Comes with an adapter and micro usb lead. (usb slot on the side of the battery). Window displays the ohms, watts and battery level. Range is 3-15W.

A Nautilus mini sits on it perfectly as it's the same size. It has a 1.8ohm coil in it but the display says 2.0ohm!
Just turn the base dial for increased power :)

So, seeing I'll have two of these, I'll put this black one aside as a spare when the blue arrives. Be good to use when things like the iSticks and MVP2's are charging!

If you think that is pricey then you better not look at the DNA40 Vapor Flask

There's an even more expensive one :

Vicious Ant Variant Titanium - Midlands Vaping

Are you tempted Terry

:) I finished mine pretty darn quick mate. :D

You know me mate, with all the setups I've got, it will last a while - at least a couple of days

:) thanks! Thought you'd seen it before - you asked for a link a while ago now.

There's a guy at work that only needs 3 hours sleep per night. Before they tightened up the rules on driving hours and breaks, he was working at least 15 hours per day, 6 days a week. He's absolutely loaded now and close to retirement age. The annoying thing is, he's in his 60's and looks about 40  But us mere mortals, need much more than 3 hours per night.

I'm just wondering if part of the problem is the late night working Trisha. If you think about it, we're not designed to work late at night. Most animals, us included, tend to sleep after dark. I know I always feel the effects of driving more at this time of year with the dark nights. I tend to feel tired and irritable more at this time of year, than in the summer.

I think most people feel the same way. The economic downturn is supposedly over, but nobody that I know seems to be feeling the benefits yet.

Yep, you did send me the link. I showed the Wife the page, she said "I could never do anything that life-like". I said "you'd better get practicing then"

No if it logs it, then it is an attempt at trying to log in with a false password, had to double check all my Samsungs, as the MAC address showed it was coming from a Samsung device

You don't use much? ..think I should try to use less - it may help with the congestion and wheezing I get!

That's because it's made from Titanium, stupid price and it's not even a DNA40, but 10-1 someone will buy it - don't think it will be Terry though

Now that is just a laughable price ian/bob but as you say there will always be some daft bugger who will buy it. Sorry i haven`t replied to some of the previous posts, but i have got a banging bloody headache :( My eldest son came to help with putting our new floor down today, we started at 11.30 and finished at 17.30. All i have to do now is put the trim around, then job done.

In an empty room it would have been a lot bloody easier than moving all the furniture this way then that way then back again. So i won`t be on here long tonight i`m afraid. So bob considering all i use are kayfuns, would you rule out the i stick because of my ocd  Serously though, a kayfun on the mvp doesn`t look to bad, so what would you recommend me getting. Ideally, i am looking at getting a couple for now.

Odd how some people can easily function well on little sleep!

I've been self employed for 25 years now, and until 8 years ago, my husband was often away during the week, and I was 'it' - 2 sons still living at home, so plenty of housework, washing, cooking, plus all the other weekly jobs ...I always worked until 1am then, and since my husband retired, the house has been far from the quiet place it was, so I've worked until 2-2.30am ever since then. He wakes me up at 10am.
Right from the beginning, I've had spells of working through to dawn to meet a deadline, and one or two nights of 8hrs sleep put me back to rights. I think if I'd been going to get some ill effects from working late hours, I'd have felt it by now.
I'm pretty sure that the combination of some stressful situations in the past two years, together with the lack of brain stimulation from cigarettes through this year is the problem.
Hopefully, the family will throw no more ailments and troubles my way, and I'll find something to get my brain back in gear! :)

I think most people feel the same way. The economic downturn is supposedly over, but nobody that I know seems to be feeling the benefits yet.
Most of it seems to be government propaganda! Where there is recovery, it's at a level that the average person doesn't feel!

Yep, you did send me the link. I showed the Wife the page, she said "I could never do anything that life-like". I said "you'd better get practicing then"
Old but true: practice makes perfect ..or goes a long way towards it

No if it logs it, then it is an attempt at trying to log in with a false password, had to double check all my Samsungs, as the MAC address showed it was coming from a Samsung device
Ah right! Perhaps a neighbour wanting some free internet access, or something more sinister! :(
One of our sons had a friend who, once he lived on his own, managed to use someone else's for months - he had something hung out of his window that was able to pick it up - can't have been a secure router.

Don't forget I usually have about 20 mods/atties/juices on the go, so each one only has a few puffs a day.
Ok! I have perhaps half a dozen, but mostly use around three of them in a day :)

Nice, still waiting for mine to get here, good idea about keeping them as spares, might do that with a couple of mine, went onto FT last night and spent more than I wanted to :( I ordered the Cloupor T6 https://www.fasttech.com/product/1907003

Am I right in thinking the Kayfun is 22mm, and a nautilus mini 19.1? ...if so, that photo I posted a while ago had a Nautilus mini on one:
