I can understand in a way why. There is a high percentage of younger Brits that do not seem to want to get educated, work for a living therefore not paying taxes, expect everything to be put on a plate for them, then end up getting into trouble, but the courts just give them a slapped wrist and tell them not to do it again, whereas younger Europeans are better educated, come over here looking for work and get jobs because they will do the work without moaning, thereby increasing their chances of getting better work prospects, earning money, paying taxes etc.

Most EU immigrants I've encountered work for a wage, and are happy to do so.
Yes, big cities have a problem with gangs of certain ethnic minorities and crime likely from illegal immigrants, but we have the same problems within our own 'legal' people too.

You don't need a piccy, it looks exactly like the ones that came with the iStick but without the knurled bit, slightly shorter in height because of that, you could even use those as well.

The main problem of course with the "won't work" brigade is that they have not been brought up right, because the parent aren't much more than kids themselves, and are out partying instead of raising their offspring.

I'm amazed at that, you working on the buses, I would've thought they insisted on a pension, I'm living on my Railway pension and some of what was my lump sum, I invested a lot of it, and so far it has increased 3,000 in the last 6 months.

I've only been on the buses for about 4.5 years Bob. To be honest, my mortgage is that high at the moment, there's not much left over for a decent pension. I opted out of SERPS when I started work at 18, but that's it so far. The company has signed up to the latest Government run pension scheme (for those not on the UK Bus scheme), but I opted out at first. I'll be re-enrolled automatically in a couple of years, so I think I'll stick with it then.

I'm on nearly all of them, AAEC, POTV & UKV - a lot of the items that come up in the classies usually start on UKV, then get posted on POTV and sometimes on AAEC, a lot of the stuff is not worth looking at, but sometimes a few goodies come up, especially the high end mods, there is also a good modders section on there with them offering their mods out like my StiG Helix & Juno v2 and the small wood one that I have by SJP. This forum is more useful for US contacts and things made in the US.

Same here, junk mail today but received news that my T8 is leaving FT today along with the small order that I used my GC for, Reos accessories and MBV that I ordered yesterday have both gone through NY ISC as well, and the Reo I got on UKV was posted this morning, still waiting for a couple of KF tanks from the US that isn't tracking, and a pouch for my Gizmo that has been sitting in LHR since 30/10.

Forgot to mention about that bloody farce of a flash sale last night. I waited up till gone 2 am and pushed the button, so far so good. Then i got an authorization code which i promptly punched in 7063,,,nope it wasn`t having any of it, so put it in again, and no again. Now i was getting pi**ed off. Then i tried 7o63 and it worked ! what a bloody waste of time as they had sold out by then, and i did put the code in as it was shown to me all upper case. So back to FT later to get a slug. Ian, i know there hasn`t been any reviews yet, but the 21 discussions all seem ok.

It is nice trish yes, like having a bloody millstone around your neck. What the councils charge for their services is a bloody joke, we went ordering a new 3 piece suite before, and i asked the chap if they would take away our old one, to which he replied `yes` it will be £29.00. Still cheaper than the council would have charged us ! and people wonder why there is so much fly tipping !!!

Have you not got a British Heart Foundation shop, or Oxfam nearby. They'll normally collect, good quality re-sellable items for free. That's what we do with our old furniture mate.

We've been here 21 years this month and before the Labour council, we had very few council tax rises ..and everywhere ran perfectly efficiently too. Also, I never heard any [cough] corruption stories about Conservative councillors either!

That's the bane of my home town at the moment - all these corruption scandals Wouldn't mind, a lot of the time they'll say Rochdale on the news and it ends up being Heywood, which is a few miles away from Rochdale. Or some other outlying town.

It`s all sorted with the old suite Ian, old out new in. I think bob is after one of them atties as well ian. I cleaned out two kayfuns today, The coffee and cream one ( war zone ) and the lemon bar one, which i noticed the poly tank had literally split in two places. Lucky i have some spares. If it happens again i will have to use a s/s tank section for the lemon bar.

I use clipmate to clip all the tracking numbers together, then just go on the track17 site and copy them in, and away it goes finding them all
Saying that it is having problems at the moment because the RM site has been "Not Working" so anything that is over here can't be tracked, think it is back up now, but very slow.

I've looked at these ones that use a ceramic cup and not overly keen on them myself, too much hassle having to use N-R-N wires, although I have heard you can build on the Rose without the cup, so let me know how you get on.
