Have Any of them got a bloody clue what goes on in the real world bob ? Personally, i doubt they do. seem to care about bleeding foreigners more than our own !

I can understand in a way why. There is a high percentage of younger Brits that do not seem to want to get educated, work for a living therefore not paying taxes, expect everything to be put on a plate for them, then end up getting into trouble, but the courts just give them a slapped wrist and tell them not to do it again, whereas younger Europeans are better educated, come over here looking for work and get jobs because they will do the work without moaning, thereby increasing their chances of getting better work prospects, earning money, paying taxes etc.

I do agree there Bob - there's a dreadful culture of 'won't work' here, all caused by previous governments too!
Most EU immigrants I've encountered work for a wage, and are happy to do so.
Yes, big cities have a problem with gangs of certain ethnic minorities and crime likely from illegal immigrants, but we have the same problems within our own 'legal' people too.

I remember seeing how the 16-24 unemployed figure dropped when they reduced the benefits for them

Totally agree, they are all a bunch of w......., maybe we should do a Guy Fawkes and blow up the HoP, the problem is it doesn't matter where you look in the world, the governments are corrupt and in it just to make themselves rich, name me one country that isn't (maybe Germany who seem to look after their own first).

Totally agree with you bob, and isn`t it strange who is in control of the IMF ?

You don't need a piccy, it looks exactly like the ones that came with the iStick but without the knurled bit, slightly shorter in height because of that, you could even use those as well.

I see you PC'd yourself there :), I'm afraid I call a digging implement (another word for) a shovel - those gangs that always seem to have a chip on their shoulder and don't like the way you look at them. The main problem of course with the "won't work" brigade is that they have not been brought up right, because the parent aren't much more than kids themselves, and are out partying instead of raising their offspring.

Totally agree with you bob, and isn't it strange who is in control of the IMF ?

I very rarely watch political programmes, too depressing, but if memory serves me right isn't it a French Woman who got it all wrong about how quick our economy turned itself around.

EDIT: I was right because she is in today's news: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ction-270million-fraud-embezzlement-scam.html

What?: France or Christine Lagarde herself? (I remember her running for president against Sarkosi.)

Brilliant thanks Bob.

I learned to be PC while still at work ..always careful, and one of our sons has to be particularly PC in his job (says it how it is outside of it though).
Once the culture of families down generations not working is broken, things may improve, but the government has to dig it's heels in.

They only see what suits them.

Oh dear! Not a very flattering photo of her in the paper here either Christine Lagarde charged with 'negligence' in French political corruption case | Daily Mail Online ...those journalists really do sift through their photos for the worst they can find!
Bernard Tapie looks like the last person anyone would want to be accused of collaborating in wrong-doing with!

To me, most prominent politicians have two goals: to earn as much as they can and find their place in the history books. Prime example is Blair.

Never been PC in my life - although when I was at work I always used to look around the room before I said anything atrocious

Good photographer, caught her well :) Totally agree, money grabbing bar stewards and Blair another Tory who thinks he is Labour, I with Mick Cash thinking that we need another Party more akin with the workers who keep this country running instead of the idiots at the top.

I see Aspire have a new tank- 'Atlantis' ...doesn't look like something I could use though:

Kanger are bringing out another as well which could be interesting: Taste Your Juice | AN INTERESTING NEW TANK COMING FROM KANGER – THE SUB TANK

I`m the same with a pension mate, all our money is tied up in the house, though it is paid for now. :toast:

I've still got a few years left on mine, but it will be paid off before I'm 50. Leaves 17 years to party hard

If you are anything like me, and i think you are, you would be banned from UKV in a matter of minutes for posting links to suppliers.

I'll stay away then mate :D

Ian, yes i have been playing with it and what can i say Bloody fantastic, my batteries arrived just before we went out, so i put them on charge and left them

Anyhoo, set it up when we got home, and had a blast with it. ATM i have got a rocket on, with SD&C, 1.5 ohm coil and set at 15.5 watts, jeez these thing are proper cloud makers. :D[/QUOTE]

Excellent mate, glad you're liking it :toast:

I'm amazed at that, you working on the buses, I would've thought they insisted on a pension, I'm living on my Railway pension and some of what was my lump sum, I invested a lot of it, and so far it has increased 3,000 in the last 6 months.

trouble1000 said:
I've only been on the buses for about 4.5 years Bob. To be honest, my mortgage is that high at the moment, there's not much left over for a decent pension. I opted out of SERPS when I started work at 18, but that's it so far. The company has signed up to the latest Government run pension scheme (for those not on the UK Bus scheme), but I opted out at first. I'll be re-enrolled automatically in a couple of years, so I think I'll stick with it then.

I'm on nearly all of them, AAEC, POTV & UKV - a lot of the items that come up in the classies usually start on UKV, then get posted on POTV and sometimes on AAEC, a lot of the stuff is not worth looking at, but sometimes a few goodies come up, especially the high end mods, there is also a good modders section on there with them offering their mods out like my StiG Helix & Juno v2 and the small wood one that I have by SJP. This forum is more useful for US contacts and things made in the US.

Think, I'll just stick with my near God like status here then Bob

Same here, junk mail today but received news that my T8 is leaving FT today along with the small order that I used my GC for, Reos accessories and MBV that I ordered yesterday have both gone through NY ISC as well, and the Reo I got on UKV was posted this morning, still waiting for a couple of KF tanks from the US that isn't tracking, and a pouch for my Gizmo that has been sitting in LHR since 30/10.

I'm surprised you can keep track of it all mate

Forgot to mention about that bloody farce of a flash sale last night. I waited up till gone 2 am and pushed the button, so far so good. Then i got an authorization code which i promptly punched in 7063,,,nope it wasn`t having any of it, so put it in again, and no again. Now i was getting pi**ed off. Then i tried 7o63 and it worked ! what a bloody waste of time as they had sold out by then, and i did put the code in as it was shown to me all upper case. So back to FT later to get a slug. Ian, i know there hasn`t been any reviews yet, but the 21 discussions all seem ok. :)

Sounds exactly like the hassle I had mate with that bloody FT sale at Chrimbo :( What a complete and utter waste of boozing time that was

Yes, i for one won`t be bothering with them again bob ! I am just getting ready to get one from FT.Works out about 22 quid with my GC. :) Plus i have a spare 650 here, so may as well put it to use. :D

Thats my poor excuse for buying one anyway.

You don't need an excuse to buy new toys mate

Yes, do let me know ..I almost bought some but didn't!

trouble1000 said:
You'll be the first to know Trisha :)

For some reason, their delivery is fast! I've actually had some get here in 4 days! Mostly it's between 5 and 8 though.

I reckon they give free juice to USPS workers

I found another DNA Hana on FT last night in red that is a smaller size! It's just not listed as the mini! ...no, haven't ordered it ...yet ..still thinking about it

trouble1000 said:
Go on Trisha, just push the button :p

Did you all see that link to the company doing iStick plus a mini Nautilus for £42 ..free delivery from £30. The basic iStick is £30. I've never used this site before: https://www.elegantvapour.co.uk/create-your-own/istick-nautilus-bundle.html
Edit: forget the Nautilus - it's a clone! Thanks to DJS :)

Didn't see that link myself.

It is nice trish yes, like having a bloody millstone around your neck.:( What the councils charge for their services is a bloody joke, we went ordering a new 3 piece suite before, and i asked the chap if they would take away our old one, to which he replied `yes` it will be £29.00. Still cheaper than the council would have charged us ! and people wonder why there is so much fly tipping !!!

Have you not got a British Heart Foundation shop, or Oxfam nearby. They'll normally collect, good quality re-sellable items for free. That's what we do with our old furniture mate.

We've been here 21 years this month and before the Labour council, we had very few council tax rises ..and everywhere ran perfectly efficiently too. Also, I never heard any [cough] corruption stories about Conservative councillors either!

That's the bane of my home town at the moment - all these corruption scandals :( Wouldn't mind, a lot of the time they'll say Rochdale on the news and it ends up being Heywood, which is a few miles away from Rochdale. Or some other outlying town.

Must admit the Polish drivers at our place are proper grafters. I know I do a lot of overtime, but these guys, if it wasn't for the rules on driving hours, they'd be doing 18 hour days 7 days a week.

I remember seeing how the 16-24 unemployed figure dropped when they reduced the benefits for them

Send them to work down the mines for their benefits

It`s all sorted with the old suite Ian, old out new in. I think bob is after one of them atties as well ian. :) I cleaned out two kayfuns today, The coffee and cream one ( war zone ) and the lemon bar one, which i noticed the poly tank had literally split in two places. :( Lucky i have some spares. If it happens again i will have to use a s/s tank section for the lemon bar.

I use clipmate to clip all the tracking numbers together, then just go on the track17 site and copy them in, and away it goes finding them all :)
Saying that it is having problems at the moment because the RM site has been "Not Working" so anything that is over here can't be tracked, think it is back up now, but very slow.

Must admit the Polish drivers at our place are proper grafters. I know I do a lot of overtime, but these guys, if it wasn't for the rules on driving hours, they'd be doing 18 hour days 7 days a week.

Most of the European workers are, it's those that come from other parts of the world (ex British Empire) that can be the problem.

That's the one I'm waiting for from Focal, Todd couldn't pronounce it either and he named it "Bob"

I've looked at these ones that use a ceramic cup and not overly keen on them myself, too much hassle having to use N-R-N wires, although I have heard you can build on the Rose without the cup, so let me know how you get on.
