Vince have you thought about an Orchid?
I here it leaves the Kayfun in the dust. But have not tried either.
But looking at reviews i intend buying one.I like the V2 for looks, but surely the 3 and 4 must be better for perfomance.

I'm not really concerned about brands or model

I'm just looking for good reviews and comments

everything I've looked at so far has had problems

be it with materials, holes needed drilling out

leaking etc etc, that's why I'm considering

an authentic, I'm still open to a clone

but I dont want to buy a load of trouble

What? are you looking for a decent RTA, if so I have the Kayfun Lite Plus and EHPRO Kayfun Lite V2 (dual air holes) both from AngelFireMods and have had no problems so far, also another to look at is the Newish eLeaf Lemo from Innovapours, a very airy RTA if you like airy, although it can be closed down, I've just ordered another couple of those.

I did, but I just stopped because of poor quality control and not being able to get my money back. I could buy something else, but not my money back.

The allure of cheap prices does not out-weigh broken decks and products being clearly different from one purchase to the next.

1st purchase was good, then it wavered. I guess it is a crapshoot..

For sure Terry,I'll be buying one/two soon.
I've had my finger hovering over the order button for the Vaporshark rDNA 40,a few times today.I think they would go together well.Just got to pursuade my self to cough and press that button.

BTW everyone my name is George.Brynglas is the name of my house, it means Green Hill in Welsh.Well i had to call myself something and that came first to mind.

Yes george, Hiya by the way :) A nice deep breath, then push that button  The IPV2 gives a cracking vape as well, and a fair bit cheaper than the vaporshark.

Yes,hiya Terry ;-)

Thats why i've been so hesitant,so many to choose from. All different prices. The VS looks a quality piece of kit,is it worth the difference?Maybe Bob will say when he receives his.

I`m sure he will george  What mods have you got so far mate ?

With what is on the market now, I prefer the SX350 mods over the DNA30 ones and the DNA30 over the IPV chipset even though the IPV goes higher in watts, we'll have to wait and see how the DNA40 performs and also the Cloupor T8 which is already on it's way from FT.

Just starting Terry.
An MVP,an i clear 134,four isticks and a little iclear vv i started the journey on.
Shying away from mechs until i fully understand what's going on.But having said that, reading around people seem to be givng them up for the high end regulated models.

Brilliant george, we all started at the begining . Must admit i have got fed up with my mechs now, just to much faffing about ! Much easier to get a regulated and tweak the volts/watts to your liking. I sure have done full circle now.

Hi George, not that I'll remember, terrible with names, Adam will tell you that  (damn nearly put Andy)

Mechs are a nice cheap way of getting going into higher end stuff, they are simplistic, as there is no wires or electronics, there is very little that can go wrong, just a matter of looking after the battery that you put in them and keeping the contacts clean.

Unfortunately the iStick has put a real dampener on them also being cheap and easy to use, I think there is still a place for mechs, and I know I will still be using one or two of my more expensive ones like the Atmizoo ones that I have, just not so much as I used to.

Hi Bob
I don't really know why i'm being so hesitant with mechs, just things you read, you know, worst case scenario stuff.
Hell,i used to have a firearms certificate and reload all my own ammunition. That was surely a bit more risky than getting to grips with ohms law and the capabilities of a battery.I'll get there.Because i'd really like to start rebuilding.

I used to be the same, with all the scare stories george. What with batteries exploding in your face blah de blah. The truth is, if you do the necessary homework on battery safety, and know a bit about ohm`s etc, you will be fine. :)

That guy in the usa, who blew half his face off, although i felt sorry for him, was just asking for trouble. So as i say, homework and common sense are your best friends regarding mechs. :)
