Couldn't imagine them saying it or looking like it.
Here he is ,an actor called Peter Wyngarde:laugh:

 He looks like he's wearing a wig : Reminds me of the films you see about Charles I - he had that sort of hairstyle. Having said that, wish my locks were that full now, I'm just jealous

Been absent for a while. Just had a massive catch up. You guys talk a fair bit!

Couldn't be bothered to find the message to quote but thanks BOB for your input on using Ali express.

I blasted the cobwebs out this afternoon with a 3 Cd set 'Now That's What I Call a Million' (all sold over a million) First track: Bohemian Rhapsody! Brilliant :)
Got another 3 CD one called Sound of Silence and that has House of The Rising Sun on it along with a lot of other great ones!
They just do not write stuff like those on these CD's any more!

Good stuff. Watched a documentary the other day about 10 Queen videos. Bit before my time but inherited my like of their music from my parents

Going to show my age a bit here but there are good bands these days as well. I like a pretty broad spectrum of music from the 60s til the modern day really. I just think you have to dig a bit deeper these days to find the good stuff. Chart music is balls.

I wouldn't worry about PG/VG build up Trisha. I've taken a laptop apart that had been in a home where the guy smoked, he'd had it for about 2 years and it was full of crud. I opened up my Step Son's lappy, it's run out of warranty, just over 14 months old. It's only been in our vaping household, there was a little dust, but no more than you'd expect. The difference between the two really was surprising, but I did get some decent 18650 batteries out of both of them, so it was worth it :)

Well my LT order arrived today. So I think I'm going to be doing a few DIY trials on vanilla custard soon. I've already got Dulce de Leche flavouring and vanilla and various creams.

Did you use the 18650 batts for vaping? Presume you could make out what make they were etc...

Ooh whose vanilla custard is that?

Think I'm drunk

Good work. Having a single quiet whisky myself tonight. Had more than a couple last night, some guys from work had finished a big project and as I'm kind of connected to it there were celebratory drinks to be had. Some nice whisky to be found up here in Scotland.

Couldn't imagine them saying it or looking like it.
Here he is ,an actor called Peter Wyngarde:laugh:

That looks like such an itchy suit.

You're not the only one, most custard types do go dark in the bottle though, whereas this one doesn't seem to be getting any darker yet
I'm using my second bottle now - just filled up on top of the last couple of ml in the first one. It's easy to use for me. I like the taste, it's not overpowering and has no fruit to irritate me!

Always nice to have alternative outlets for your work
It is, and until the Oban gallery closed, I worked with the three galleries.
One of my exhibitions at the Oban gallery had Francis Shand Kydd as one of the people invited to the opening. My husband was sat on a sofa next to her and got her another glass of wine. He remarked quietly to the gallery owner what a nice old lady she was  ..he whispered back who she was!

Not sure about stewed lemons, apart from lemon cakes, I only use them for squeezing on chicken & fish or putting in a drink
It tastes just like a lemon cream cake!

I think sometimes you can "over search" for things Trisha. You'll be searching all day and not find what you want, then a few days later when you've stopped searching, the thing you were looking for suddenly pops up
Yes, and that's always possible. Trouble is, I was deleting a bit of rubbish while I was going through them ..always a chance I clicked on the wrong line! Sods law, but typical for me!

Looks like you've got a superb build there then, you can forget my earlier comment about "end of life" built into electronics  I do know that they do this with some printers though, I've had it happen with some Epson printers.
I know exactly what you mean. I have a LaCie 324 monitor ..at the price, you'd expect them to be bombproof virtually, but one morning, all I got were thin brightly coloured stripes across the screen! computer company talked me through a couple of tests and things to try and deduced that it was the monitor and not a computer fault ......checked my saved invoice, and the dratted thing had gone out of it's warranty just a few weeks earlier! Had to get a new one on overnight delivery direct from LaCie!!! It had been revamped with the new ips panel rather than the s-PVA the first one had, and no way was this one as brilliant for perfect colour and tone - why can we never get the same thing twice!!

Anyway, I'm hoping this computer keeps plodding on! I take good care of it, check the space on the SSD where the operating system is every day, and always empty the %temp% folder out (Windows 7 doesn't seem to do it's housekeeping properly in that folder!) First time I found out it had a huge lot of stuff in it.
I run a fast scan every night to rid it of tracking cookies too.

Glad to hear it! Using mostly VG seems to mess the glass up on windows and mirrors super fast ..sick of cleaning them! Still, it only needs a bit of clean washing up water on a cloth and a piece of kitchen paper to polish it off.
I had visions of a dusty gooey mess in the computer!

Hopefully I'll be one of the Roundhouse marmite lovers  I'll leave it to steep for at least a month though.
It does need it! :)

Some people expect you to do all the work for them :(
Yes, - I did wonder if she thought I'd ask the gallery owner to drop them off for her! I wouldn't dream of even asking him. He's made sure he had the four she asked for up there with him.

Heathers is one of those that I've got in my favourites list, but I've never used them. I've seen some great reviews for them though - they do have a good following.
Ah! that's nice to know! I can see a number of them that I'd perhaps like. There's a lot of natural tobacco ones there too, and they do a pure range that only uses VG!
I must get some of the Waffle with cream and maple syrup though!
Before I order, I'll send an email to ask how they label regarding contents value! This time of year I'm keen for things to get here as fast as possible - RM is bound to lose some stuff especially if they're holding it ransom!

I see a few good sounding ones on the Indigo site too.

With all this talk of i-Sticks looks like I'm going to have to try one at some point :)
You couldn't fail to find it good! The way those Spinner ll's have behaved, if the iSticks last twice as long as they have, I'll be happy.
I still have a feeling the MVP2 is tougher, and they're heavier. ..I'm told that they last a good few years or more though.
But, the iStick is the winner for me - so easy to pick up and takes up very little room, and it works!

Well my LT order arrived today. So I think I'm going to be doing a few DIY trials on vanilla custard soon. I've already got Dulce de Leche flavouring and vanilla and various creams.
That should be interesting! :)

Thats ok mate, i will bide my time. Love the i-sticks Ian, i will have 3 when my new ones arrive and i am going to be getting more. Balls to the mechs. :D
Er, quite!

Isn't it brilliant when you rediscover music from back in the day !!!
What do you mean 'rediscover' ? I only listen to stuff from 'back in the day' ...60's, 70's, perhaps some 80's too. Then I also like Verdi, Puccini, Vivaldi, Massenet, Pergolesi .....
But yes, it really is nice to find one that you'd forgotten about! :)

My missus was recently having a clear out and found an old cassette
on it were Groovin with Mr Bloe, Silver Machine and the entire double album of War of the Worlds
narrated by Richard Burton, fabulous
I remember someone lending that to me on an LP, and I also had Tubular Bells too. Had a terrific Sansui turntable! One of our sons is still using it.

Think I'm drunk
You aren't sure?

"Balls to the Mechs" - sounds like a song title
Perhaps we need to ask Terry to sing it! nods yes smilie.gif

I bought that about 6 months ago,we're a little bit behind the times here in Wales,'tho.
I've just finished watching a great new program on the tele, did anyone else see it? It's called Department S,had some fella called Jason King in it.
Oh my word! ..I immediately got a mental image of big mullet hair, fake tan, flares & stacked heels!

No probs Terry, old age is catching up on me, couldn't remember if you'd turned me down before or not :laugh:
Be careful, that affliction could land you in hot water! :D

15 quid for a telly in 1970, wish they were still that price now
Remember how much wages were back then though! :?:

Yup! I go away for a couple of hours, and they wrote a book!

Good stuff. Watched a documentary the other day about 10 Queen videos. Bit before my time but inherited my like of their music from my parents

I know little about current chart stuff, and if I see a so called celebrity, I'm often at a loss to know what sort of celebrity ....Big Brother ...X Factor ..genuine charts? Dunno, care even less!
Being a teenager in the 60's was actually a bit of a privilege - saw the start of the whole music explosion, flower people, mods, rockers, Carnaby street. Danced in a smoky den to the latest groups, ran with the rockers by day, the mods by night ...it was such fun!
Our sons actually envied us being a part of that huge change. They both got a love for the Beatles music too. In fact, before they got too big, they stole my trainers, jeans, sweatshirts .....records. Nothing was safe!

Ooh whose vanilla custard is that?
That would be 'Ians Custom Vapes Custard'! ;)

Good work. Having a single quiet whisky myself tonight. Had more than a couple last night, some guys from work had finished a big project and as I'm kind of connected to it there were celebratory drinks to be had. Some nice whisky to be found up here in Scotland.
I used to be partial to a drop of aged Glenmorangie. Oban distillery makes a good malt too. But there's oodles of them!
I have a nice bottle of The Kings Ginger Liqueur in the cupboard ..it's very nice as a now and then drink with a good coffee. It bursts with lemon citrus and then turns to liquid stem ginger ...very nice! :) The King's Ginger liqueur

That looks like such an itchy suit.
It's him that's 'itchy' ...just look at his face! Would you trust your daughter with that man ..well, I ask you!

 Jeez, I just had to google that one, I was about 1 when that was on TV  Don't think we could even afford a TV back then, you must be rich George

About 17 younger than me then  Nearly everyone had a Telly back then, might have only been Black & White, with a bit of Acetate over it to make it look coloured.

Nah!Back then you only needed about 15 quid to buy a tele.

Think i was in my very early teens when that was on i loved it.Better still was the series just called Jason King,a spin off.
He used to come out with some right lines..."Too early for coffee my dear,i'll have a scotch"

Sounds like you are only a year or so younger than me, we had a local shop and every year they had a Sale on, radios for 2/6d, record players for 5s and the top one a TV for a quid, I queued all night to get it.

Apart from a few super groups they stopped making music in about 1980, what the make now is called noise

I think that rap and gangsta in all its' various forms is part of an alien invasion plan

This was a colourless liquid from the Emerald Isle, the missus found it at the back of a kitchen cupboard

and to me to get rid of it, so little by little I did :toast:

It's Terry & Trisha, they certainly can chat Adam

I saw that programme on Queen too, knew Bohemian Rhapsody would be no.1. Was a cracker though, brought back some great memories.

Most laptop batteries are made up of 6 or 8 batteries, with a protection circuit. Their usually 18650 batteries, so the same size we use in mods. I normally find that between 2-6 batts are ok to use. When a laptop battery dies, it's usually because a couple of the 18650's have died, not all of them. It's a pain to open the laptop battery and separate the 18650's out - I usually have to re-wrap them and I always test them first for voltage drain and to make sure they'll hold a charge properly. So far, I've had Panasonic, Sony and Sanyo batteries out of the laptops - they always seem to use decent quality batteries in them :)

Trisha's right, it will be Ian's Vanilla custard if it tastes ok, if not, it will be Terry's Vanilla custard :laugh:

Once you stop searching it will turn up Trisha, as if by magic

I'll have to ask the Wife about the window cleaning and VG smog  I do get a bit of build up on the car windscreen, but it's a bonus not to have to open the window in Winter when I vape. Used to hate that about smoking and driving - freeze and get the nicotine, stay warm and miss out ;)

Let us know how you get on with your investigations into Heathers.

I will be picking up an I-Stick or two when FT get them back in stock- probably be after Xmas though.

Terry singing, no please don't put us through that

Oooo Terry's favourite I see

Terry's my guinea pig, sorry, taste tester

One of my favs by Eric Burdon & The Animals. :)
Only last year, I spent ages finding videos and clips of various versions ..been some very good ones done, including a couple of good instrumentals! It'll always be a favourite.

Some are just classics: Nights in White Satin, Whiter Shade of Pale, Bohemian Rhapsody, Sultans of Swing, Leila, Fallen Hero, Black Velvet, Hallelujah, If Living is without You, Life on Mars, Mr Moonlight (Lennon version) - There's been a lot of great stuff done since the early 60's but some stand out.

Apart from a few super groups they stopped making music in about 1980, what the make now is called noise
Definitely!

I'm guessing the pleasure of rescuing something useful takes top spot over the actual cash saved :)

Trisha's right, it will be Ian's Vanilla custard if it tastes ok, if not, it will be Terry's Vanilla custard :laugh:
Is this a new challenge you've set yourself or have you made one before? Apart from Vanilla, I've never thought too much about what may be in a custard flavour.

Once you stop searching it will turn up Trisha, as if by magic
Well, that would be nice! Can't think how it can be hiding though if I found it once - definitely amongst emails.

I'll have to ask the Wife about the window cleaning and VG smog  I do get a bit of build up on the car windscreen, but it's a bonus not to have to open the window in Winter when I vape. Used to hate that about smoking and driving - freeze and get the nicotine, stay warm and miss out ;)
I suspect it could be because I use high VG rather than a PG mix. It's thicker/heavier, and a glycerol rather than a glycol ...think glycerol is a stickier stuff.

Let us know how you get on with your investigations into Heathers.
I will - apparently it gets some good reviews.

I will be picking up an I-Stick or two when FT get them back in stock- probably be after Xmas though.
They're well worth the price :)

Terry singing, no please don't put us through that
...hmm - perhaps not ..you never know though, he may be the next Pavarotti!

Ooh! Terry had a bad experience with a guinea pig last summer!
