The tank with coffee and cream needed bloody cleaning again today So while i had all my gear out i re-coiled 2 rockets and a kayfun ( The ones currently sitting on my I-sticks ). I decided to put some higher resistance coils in all of them because of the sticks not regulating the power down after a full charge.

So anyways, I did the first one @ 1.8 ohms, put it on a freshly charged stick, and just set it @ 8 watts absolutely great, with no burnt taste at all like i was getting with 1.3 ohm coils. I have also now got the option of going higher wattage if i please which i will do later to find `The Spot`

Oh and my other 3 sticks have been dispatched too.

I went for 20% for the MBV ones to start with and I reckon that might be enough, the taste was strong enough I reckon just leave it to steep.

I agree about steeping tobaccos for a while. My all day vape for at work has been inawera ry4 in my kayfun for a while now and that stuff needs at least 3 weeks I think with how I steep my juices (leave in my vape box or a drawer, squeeze the bottle to get fresh air in and shake it every few days when I remember to).

You guys all seem to be having issues with your orchids and bobs. Puts me off trying them!

Like I said Adam, I always go on the high side with my percentages. Terry will tell you that my juices have a major flavour kick Only downside, is I use more flavouring

Yes i have ordered from fast tech their shipping is crappy to say the least but they do offer free shipping
and i had to pay extra to expedite the shipping time from 8-12 days to the DHL air service Its calculated when you checkout and it increased it 4-6 days and when i used this method it arrived around 5 days with no other fees import or export hope this helps.

I've never used any of the express shipping options, but it's good to know it speeds things up a bit. Waiting doesn't worry me though, I'm very patient

I saw that earlier this morning, took a look - all in stock for next day shipping, but I was so hacked off with the Hana, I closed the window and forgot about it ...for a few hours!

Is yours "Light Grey", mine is and looks real nice on the Provari P3 Beta which is an identical colour, didn't get the adaptor so will be sticking with the steel tip, so everything matches, presume yours has the PMMA tank, piddling could be down to chimney not screwed in tight enough to top piece, letting air to get into the tank, I have the AFC almost tightened down as it made a hell of a noise with it opened up or off.

I used 30g round 3mm to get 1.7ohm in the end with a cotton wick and it's still vaping great, so it looks as though you need wicking in the channels but not too thick.

Nice to hear that Ron is back on-line and getting back to normal again, and looks like his brother is in the forces and got a recall so that's why we heard nothing from him.

Yep mine is the light grey one Bob. I've been playing with it today mate, but without success, more details to follow.

I managed to get another black, another silver, and a fushia. Ian if you wanna make an offer for a black one mate, Unlucky.

This was my Reply from the supplier:

"We have not had this happen before. The wiring is most likely making contact in the button when it should not be. If you know electronics you may be able to diagnose the problem and fix it. Continue to play around with the item and if you still have problems please message us and we will resolve the issue for you."

So that was a go ahead to take it apart. Did not SEE anything, but I could only tear it down so far, but something must have been pressing the switch, internally, a wire or something, because when I put it back together, it worked. No Idea what was wrong, but it is working now. I pulled a carto out of another tank that was primed, filled the Billet Box tank, and am vaping away. Happy Days

That's a strange one mate, but still a good result.

Perhaps it was a loose wire, a bit of metal swarf inside or it could just be magic who knows

I've been giving this igo a try tonight, the flavour is fantastic but the nic is choking me

I'm going to have to order some zero nic and mix to my taste for when the orchids get here

I was under the impression that 1.8 ohms on my mvp would be a bit underpowered but

turns out it's fine, it's a new sensation still tasting my juice 10 minutes after my last vape

That's the great thing about a quality build mate. For me that's the sign of a great vape, when I can still taste the juice 10 minutes after vaping

Well got some vapemail again today.

The dual 18650 wooden box mod arrived, along with the Rose atty

First of all had a look at the "Bob". Stripped down the base and gave it a good clean. No problems evident there, so I changed the red O-rings where the tank seals, for black ones. Closed up the AFC and put the chimney and tank on but left off the top cap, left the wick out too. Filled up the tank with water, no leaks at all. Blew down the chimney, bubbles in the water in the tank and still no leak from the base. Screwed on the topcap, still good no leaks. Opened the ACF a tiny amount and water shot out

Then I fitted a small o-ring under the top cap to seal against the chimney, fitted a basic wick and coil. Filled up with water again, AFC closed - no leaks. Opened the AFC a hair, water everywhere.

Then I tried adding just pure 100 VG, same again, as soon as the AFC was opened - Niagara Falls.

So "Bob" is back in the naughty box

Next up tried the Rose, gave it a good clean and set to work.

Used the ceramic section, cos I was using 24g kanthal, 9 wraps to get around the 0.8 ohm mark, didn't want such a big coil touching metal, if I didn't use the ceramic cup.

Had to build the coil, insert the rayon, then try to fit this into the ceramic cup and finally into the base of the Rose. What an absolute pain in the ....

Must have taken me over an hour to do this. Tightened up the allen screws in the base, checked the resistance on the Vamo - NO RES

So I pulled out the ceramic cup, one of the legs had bent, so wasn't going into the base properly.

Built another coil, inserted the wick, put it into the ceramic cup, but this time I spent 5 minutes straightening out the tiny coil legs. Onto the base, screwed it up, checked on the Vamo - 0.8 ohms, success

Finished it all off, filled up with Moo juice, popped it on the IPV, still 0.8 ohms. Had a vape, bloody lovely. Then got clever and opened up the juice control a little

WOW

A dripper, without dripping

Few more draws, then gurgling, then leaking

Closed down the juice control, inverted it, blew through the mouthpiece and cleared out the flooding. Went back to pleasurable vaping.

Ten minutes later, no vape at all. IPV is showing 0 resistance

I've given up on this one too for now.

I'm still not getting to like that coffee ..has an odd plastic taste to it and even smells ick to me. Coffee, but not a nice one! I may give it one more try by itself, but after that ..it's toast!

I'd ordered a two tier acrylic stand from FT with the Magenta one I ordered on it's own from the first batch, and it arrived today broken in three places, plus the supposedly clear acrylic end pieces to fit the two tiers together, is actually a poorly done cloudy/ftosted finish! It was just over $10, so I suppose I'll have to send them a photo of it!
One part is usable if I stick the back on it - and it's just the right depth to take perhaps 11 or 12 iSticks standing sideways! I could put this narrow one behind my pen/stationary storage rack and they'd be safe from falling off the back of my desk!

You`re having a bit of bad luck there ian. When you get your orchid,DO NOT wick it like most of the youtube videos show mate, by tucking a bit of wick in the top of the juice channels. It just doesn`t work, and all i was getting is dry hits done that way. Wick it just like a kayfun mate, and just sit the wick ends on top of the base above the juice channels, and you will have it rocking 0.8 duals, 30 watts on your ipv, and you will be wowing then .

Well surely they won`t want you to send that back trish ? And if you can put the broken one to use, it will be a bonus if you get a refund. Mmm Toast and coffee you must let us know what the new ones are like when they arrive ! I had to change to a higher resistance trish cos everything was tasting burnt with a 1.3 coil, absolutely perfect vape now.
