I looked again later on Friday I think (or Saturday) and it had changed to:

So I guess about a week. Pretty stupid putting that on the website as most people won't know when it was posted.

When my first I-Stick arrived, i put a tank on with a 1.3 ohm coil and took a hit. Even on it`s lowest setting it tasted burntThen good old bob posted the chart, and explained about the sticks not regulating the power down on a fully charged battery, So i was actually vaping at 14 watts.
It`s then that i took a good look at the chart and realised if i built my coils around 1.8 ohms, even on a fully charged battery, set at it`s lowest watts it can only put out 10 watts, which is where i like to be, but i have still got the option of turning the watts up to 16 if i choose to. with a 1.8 resistance coil.
Anyone tried these from Nicoticket, The Virus (H1N1), Wakonda, & Custard's Last Stand, I just ordered 10ml of each to try, need something different. I have been reading they will need steeped for a while, how long is the question and how did you like them? I know taste is subjective, just wanting to get an idea. I won't get them until the 1st as I'll be out of town from Thursday to Sunday on a short break (fishing).

I sort of arrived at a similar conclusion without totally getting my head around the ohms/watts/volts chart - turned it as low as I can just about and used as high a coil as I can get.

I've been reading part of a rather long thread on the iStick. Generally, most people love them for their obvious advantages and performance, but there is the odd issue, and a few naysayers here and there.
A few interesting bits here and there ...very funny because they started to refer to the wattage/voltage as 'iStick Watts' due to them generally needing to be a whole step lower than on other batteries! I'm not the only one that uses theirs at 5-5.5 or 6!
They work better with coils of 1.8 or 2.0 - so I'll be careful not to use my 1.5 (I do have a box somewhere) - I do prefer the 2.0ohm.
Those that use tanks tend to use the mini Nautilus and MOW too - just what I use.
There's a bendy/bending adapter that apparently also (apart from folding the tank down) protects the threads as it has a 510 floating pin (which seem to be a weak spot): Eleaf iStick Bending Adapter - Worth getting one?
Seems there's a v2 coming sometime in the first half of 2015, and may be a 50W. (These things always seem to take longer than expected though - MVP3 was supposed to be out before Christmas ..no sign yet I think)

...that's if a small bottle survives that long! Most people love it and immediately order a bigger bottle - then have it so that while one bottle steeps, another can be used! I don't regard it as being a strong tobacco taste because of all the other flavours in it. yes! Well, despite the negatives, most people love them anyway. I doubt if any of us expected a Rolls Royce at that price, so all things considered, they're still rather good - not a flat cart!

This is not something I ordered, I am making. I got the whole leaf tobacco, and am macerating it in PG to make my own NET (which could be done in VG also Trish, just harder to filter). I let it soak for a month or so, shaking it every day. Then filter it 3 times to make the base for my DIY ADV.I had a flue cured one ages ago burnie, and i can`t for the life of me remember where i got it, but it was a damn good vape. In fact next time i order some liquids i will have a look round for some to try. Will be a nice change from the ry vapes what i constantly have
The Virus & Wakonda are great! CLS is good too! Wakonda will need to steep, but do try a little bit before setting it aside! CLS also gets better with steeping, and can go on improving.
Virus is wonderful! Right away it's good and each week, you could taste something slightly different! I had to mix mine with 80% Crème Brule because of the PG content
Wakonda is the same - very good, but you won't get the black coffee properly right away (again, try a little bit so you can compare as it steeps) It's another complex flavour with layers just like Virus is and includes vanilla, custard, coffee, mellow tobacco. The coffee is a flavour from the NET. It's another that makes me sad because I can't use it!
NT have recently gone to glass bottles but only as the plastic ones go out of stock. In glass, the use by date is a year from the made date, so you can judge how old/steeped it is when you get it.
A really good thing with NT's is the mixability of them - it's amazing how well they mix with each other. A lot like the Virus as is and also with either CB or CLS in varying ratios, but they all go with many things in the range.
If for any reason you aren't too impressed on arrival, let them steep and try a tiny bit each week ...you'll be able to taste the differences in the Wakonda and Virus. Some people let them sit, others use them and enjoy the gradual changes as it mature - particularly Virus!
CLS is like any other custard: improves with steeping.
I have three NET's coming from Heathers Heavenly Vapes, and will get another two/three ordered soon from Indigo direct. I have one Indigo coming from Cloud House France that is half RY, half a NET. (Eastwood: combo of Duke & RY)
They're customisable, and I ordered mine in max VG, so with luck I'll find something I really like!

Totally agree trish, and once sussed are a fantastic device.
Again Trisha, if you look across the bottom of the chart ! And say you have a 2.0 ohm coil in your tank !! Then if you follow the chart up from the 2.0 ohm, it is highlighted that you are actually vaping at 9 watts, ( On a fully charged battery ) despite what you have the stick set at. But you still have the option of turning your watts up to 15 watts if you chose to do so, again just follow the chart up, from the 9 watts, and it goes to 15 watts.
I hope that clears it up for you trish, otherwise i will be paying you a visit
...the way I was trying to use it was: It's set at 5W and I have a 2.0ohm coil, so where the two meet on the chart gives me a purple square at 3.2 ...and that's what I couldn't understand ...but, when I look right now, the volts are showing 3.3!How would I know when it goes from 4.2 to 3.9? I never get that reading for Volts. This one is almost fully charged. It's set at 5W, 2.0ohm coil, and shows 3.3VI will just put a quick edit in : You cannot reduce the wattage Down from 9 watts untill the battery has run down from a full 4.2 charge, to 3.9.
At least that is how i have read it. ( understand it )
...but you reckon I'm actually using it at 9W? no wonder I keep choking and steaming through liquid!
