One more work day tomorrow, then 4 days off :D

And no Bob. Even if they offer me a 6 hour duty at double pay with a day off in lieu, the answer will still be NO

Can't wait to have a play with the Lemo. I reckon, I'll use it on the istick and pop the Orchid onto the Hana (when it arrives) :D

It'll look really funny on the istick, it's a 23mm atty and just as tall as the iStck

Nope  Just type ZNA 30 in the search box trish they are 7-30 watt :)
Think I found it - comes in black or silver, from Shenzhen Green electronics and costs £29.80 with these specs:

1. Compact size ~ 3.1" x 2.1" x 1" Aluminum body

2. 2400 mAh Li-po

3. Flush 510 connector

4. Flush dome style Fire Button

5. 7~30 watts

6. 4~8.3 volts

7. 0.4 - 3.0 Atomizer Resistance

8. On-board USB charging 500mA

9. LED shows Red when charging and Green when fully charged

Is that it ...at last?

I thought you had the burnt taste that you get when the wick dries out (not getting juice to the coil), didn't realise it was the juice burning, which is 2 totally different tastes.
I backed mine off from 13 to 10, and when that was okay, but didn't quite taste good enough I put it up to 11, which is where I have now left it.

I don`t know what it was bob, the wicks either weren`t keeping up with me, or it was the juice burning, tasted bloody rank whatever it was

Terry, have you noticed there seems to be a bit more of a bevelled edge on one side of the glass tank that comes with the Lemo ??

I spotted that yesterday, when I quickly took mine apart. You know me, I love taking things apart

Just looked at the next one that I have ready to use and no bevelled edge on it.

Orchid V2(you've seen)
2 Lemo drops
Kayfun Lite with nano kit.

How are you finding your Lemo`s ? with mine i had to get the air flow just right, or it seemed to flood a lot. I think i was over filling it as well. when upside down, i was filling right to the top, and i think i was having issues because of that as well.

Well going by Ohms Law it is rubbish, because no one really builds 4.5 ohm coils BUT you could go down to 6w @ 3v with a 1.5 ohm coil or 5w with a 1.8 ohm, so could be better than the iStick if the output voltages are what they say they are.
But that's the given wattage on the iStick, iStick 'type' and the Smart-20 at Fast Tech - it shows on the brief details under each item if you do a search for any of those. Don't get it because they aren't 2-20W are they?

Think the early YiHi boards (SX130, 300) were not as good as his latest ones like the SX330, 350, the SX350 is much closer to the DNA30 board performance wise
Where do you keep finding all these  I won't buy SMOK except their cartos, and even those are hit & miss.
They were things mentioned in the thread discussing the iPV Mini

You don't want the ZEN ZNA30 Trish, you have to charge the battery separately and the included charger is China crap that I wouldn't trust.
That one seems to have on-board usb charging. Not sure about it though - perhaps prefer the Cloupor mini. It's small and not too high powered if it performs true to readings.

Always leave some air at the top I reckon. When I fill my kayfun and accidentally don't leave enough air I can get the occasional dry hit. The pressure difference must not be right or something. After the juice runs down a little it starts working fine.

Hey bob have you tried out those other ni200 wire gauges yet? Mine arrived today so I put new coils in the lemo and hobo.

28ga in the lemo, 12ish wraps on 3mm came out at 0.18 and vapes really nicely.

27ga in the hobo, 12ish wraps on 2.4mm came out at 0.13 and vapes really nicely.

:toast:

Even though the airflow is up top on the hobo with prolonged use you do get some juice in between the pieces you can rotate. It doesn't seem to run down the sides as much at least.

Knackered today so over and out.

P. S. Looking forward to Ian 's post when that hana arrives finally. I'm expecting big things mate

If the wicks don't keep up you get a dry hit, with possibly a burnt cotton taste, which is really hot, and if that happens, you normally have to replace the cotton because you will not get rid of it no matter how low you turn it down, with burnt juice you can normally taste the juice but is has a horrible taste to it, and turning the wattage down normally cures that.

Bob
The mod i put my name down for the other night have you got that link again.
It was "Maker" wasn't it?
Googled but can't find.

What board did you choose?I opted for dna 40.Just wondering some sort of date on production.

Stories | Cloud Control by MAKER

If you are on FB they are on there as well - "Cloud Control by Maker" where you can keep up with them
and Yes I put the DNA40 as the preferred option - don't know about production - on the page where you filled out the form that was only to show interest in buying, they should contact you if and when the actual list comes out - the list for the Mukaton has started I believe, but I'm holding out for the Sturmträger

It probably was the latter then bob ! I am vaping it right now, and all seems good since i backed off on the watts.
