I have woken up many times in the past trish ` when i were a lad` With my head where my feet should be
Oh! where you wake up and panic because you can't get out from the sheets? I remember terrible panic setting in with that - we had sheets and blankets properly tucked in then

I once saw our little dog do that when she was only a few months old - she'd burrowed under her blanket and then couldn't find her way out ..poor thing was horrified and wriggling around blindly!

Thats the same one where george commented ` it looks like it has been cut in half `
I remember now - don't think I took it too seriously at the time - wonder how that one performs for output ....probably the same way as the standard one I suppose as it'll have the same electronics in it!

Just did a build on the Billow, 10 wraps 28g dual coil, twas a bugger to fit in and get the coils over the air holes and heating up nicely, but managed it in the end, put it on my Kangside 30 and reading 0.9 ohms which was the same as on my ohm meter. cottoned it up, you cant't use much as there is not a lot of room to drop the cotton down on to the deck. Put it all together and filled it up with some CV ABC and bumped the wattage up to 20w - very tight draw tried bumping it up to 25w still having problems, then thought, let's try it on something a bit more powerful, so swapped it over on to the Rogue and noticed it screwed down more, now showing 1 ohm and started at 30w but had to drop it down as it was a bit too hot and now vaping like a beauty at 20w so think there may have been a connection problem with it on the Kangside 30

Yeah sounds fishy, although I'm not sure why the draw would be affected by a connection issue. Either way you got it working now.

I'm resisting the temptation to get one, it helps that it went OOS on angelfiremods very quickly after that review went up haha.

Also I've got my rDNA 40 with the Ni200 coiled lemo with me at work today and as there is no wind about feeling a little conspicuous blowing these massive clouds just outside the building. There is literally no wind so they just kind of swirl around me :vapor:

Yes, it was a bit weird, I was puffing away, but hardly anything coming through, then got a bit of leakage through one of the air holes, cleaned that away, took a draw and got one perfect hit, then it went back to next to nothing, it was because I could hardly feel any heat from it that made me think it a connection issue, The Kangside 30 is similar to the Vamos and they have always had those type of problems, and I had also noticed that it hadn't screwed right down (OCD kicked in )

As soon as I put it on the Rogue it screwed right down no problem - took a toke and the rest is history.

I'm not keen on these decks that have 2 positive posts on the block, as tryiing to get the 2nd coil in is not easy as the wire comes through in the middle of the other coil, but managed it by making a U shape in the end of the wire so that when I put it through it came up behind the 1st coil, what I would prefer to see is 1 slightly bigger pos post with a bigger screw and that way both wires go through the same post, would also be better if the air holes on the deck were slightly off centre so it is easier to get the middle of the coil over the hole.

Sounds like you are enjoying the set up :)

Maybe as it wasn't firing properly when you drew air through it it was pulling juice through and running into the airflow as it wasn't getting vaporised, although if the draw is quite airy that shouldn't happen much.

Yeah I know what you mean about putting dual coils in those 2 hole positive posts. I've done it and wished I had some precision snipping tool to snip the wire off without cutting the other coil. I usually snip it as close as I can and then bend the remaining wire up or down against the positive post. Putting the positive lead in the hole closest to the negative post would help but then there's not so much room for the coil.

That's probably what was happening, anyway got the eXpromiser on the Kangside30 now and that is working well.

That's why I said about offsetting the airhole

VapeMail: My Minotaur Squonker has arrived and the Laik one was shipped yesterday from Romania:

Need to get another small atty, probably something like the RM2 that you have Ian, although the Nuppin that's on it's way may fit

Ah sorry Bob I was thinking about other dual hole positive post things like the plume veil when I was writing that. It wouldn't work so well on the billow.

There is one I have seen (think it might have been a dripper) that might be better layout, the problem is the size of the deck, it has 2 positive posts that are at 90 degrees to the neg posts - ¦ - and the wire holes are angled slightly on the positive posts

Okay you lot no bloody laughing at this

How i was saying about the bit of trouble with my Lemo ! What with not being able to get the AFC set right, leaking after filling, and in general, just not vaping right. It always seemed too airy :( So earlier on, i opened it all up, checked the wick coil etc and it all looked good ( rayon ) But i thought sod it, i will try some ... cotton instead.

Put the wick in, and started to put the tank together, it was when i was sitting the glass tube on to the deck, that i spied, no bloody o-ring on the deck . So it must have arrived that way, and i hadn`t noticed it missing. Into the bag of spares, put an o-ring in, filled her up, on to a stick @ 14 watts, and as you say the rest is history. Tons and Tons of vapour and flavour, no leaks, no big pops, perfect airflow.

Absolutely amazing, at one point i was regretting buying the Lemo, and was thinking, bleeding heck i have got another 3 on there way to me as well  My worries were needless, i am well chuffed now !!

In other news, my chefs order arrived today, and they got part of it wrong Again :( I ordered 30 ml of SD&C plus 10 ml of apple pie and cream, they sent me the apple pie ok, with 20 ml of SD&C and 10 ml of bloody banoffee cookie dough :( So i have fired off an e-mail, and still waiting for a reply !

Seriously though, they tend to get stuck to the glass when new, so if you took it apart & cleaned it when you got it, that's probably where/when it went missing.

 I just knew something wasn`t right bob  I`m just glad that i noticed it today, or i would have been forever struggling with it ! Anyhoo, i am well chuffed with it now, they are amazing aren`t they bob ? I don`t think i have ever had vapour production and flavour like this from a kayfun. :toast:
